Great smaller store. Middle Eastern products and much more. Really good service too. Great pita bread, etc. Convenient location.

February 2026 On the second day of Lunar New Year, I…read morevisited your wholesale location in a festive and sincere spirit. I had prepared red envelopes to express appreciation for your hardworking staff, reflecting our long-standing business relationship. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see that your company had arranged a small buffet for employees. The warehouse staff were polite and exchanged festive greetings, creating a positive atmosphere. This reflected well on management and is worth acknowledging. However, an incident that followed severely disrupted what had been a pleasant morning. I must clearly identify that the staff member involved is the senior female employee from the back department responsible for vegetables senior lady ! This day she was standing their cut pork for customer and employee! she refused to provide proper portions to my employee, who was waiting in line appropriately. Instead, she directed her to take leftover scraps filled with excessive bone fragments. When I calmly asked for clarification, this staff member responded with a cold, impatient, and hostile attitude, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect. My employee feels like homeless need get her food ! As long-term customers and fellow business owners who consistently support your company, we expect fairness and respect, particularly during a festive occasion meant to reflect goodwill. As business operators ourselves, we understand that management culture directly affects reputation. What we witnessed today raises serious concerns regarding internal service standards and supervision. I respectfully request that management review this matter seriously and reinforce professional training to ensure equal and respectful treatment for all customers moving forward.

We shop there occasionally (three-four times a year). Can't say much about owner(s) or employees as I never interacted much other than "in out, bing bang" and that's it. I didn't notice or experience any rude or "strange" behavior, neither from customers nor employees, otherwise it would've been one star just like all those other reviews (I rarely give five stars to businesses). Also I noticed during my brief shopping visits that other patrons at that moment were from different cultures, speaking different languages, and from different ethnic backgrounds. Truly a diverse and multicultural environment. Finally to Abigail C.: Maybe you should take your rowdy, sugar hopped-up kids to the park to play or spend more time teaching them good manners. Don't be shifting your shortcomings as a parent to others around you. *I am not related to this business owner(s) and am not an everyday/"regular" visitor but reviewers with low self-esteem and an inferiority complex should consider some kind of therapy or even learning a thing or two about different cultures, or perhaps learning a different language before labeling people as racist, bigots, homophobes or any kind of "phobes".

They were not being crazy with them at all. A woman scolded them and said to put them back, which they did immediately. Then a man came over and told us we were very rude and to get out of their store. I have absolutely no idea what we did. I genuinely asked him what we did wrong and he angrily waved us out of the store. We are a multicultural family, so not sure if race played into things. It was a very unnerving experience!

I love the ease of their grab-and-go fridge which is always well stocked at most times of the day. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu I switch out my rolls every so often and have tried most of their items. The cashiers working are always friendly and love their good quality chopsticks for togo (I save them). The location itself is small and parking can be tricky depending on the day but I usually find street parking and quickly run in. It's super convenient and the line never takes long to wait in either. My go-to's are the negihama and salmon aburi. Never disappoints - definitely add this to your Oakland/East Bay foodie list. There was a line, but because there is no seating, service was quick! It was hard to choose from all of the delicious looking choices, but I went with the spicy tuna ($8.99). It was simple, fresh and really tasty. The subtle heat allowed for the mild sweetness of the tuna to come through, and the texture of the seaweed and rice were perfect. There is also a nice selection of Japanese snacks and beverages to add to your meal, and the prices were all very reasonable. If you live in the area or just visiting Piedmont Ave., I highly recommend Ebiko for very fresh, healthy, and delicious grab-and-go sushi!
