The menu was great, lots of items you can order pizza, pasta, and Indian! I got a few dishes, and I was happy with them all. I really enjoyed the veggie burger, and the tandoori paneer plate & the cauliflower wings. Everything was flavourful, and felt healthy, I didnt feel gross after eating this food (most places in surrey you feel like there is MSG and feel not good after eating it) but I felt leaving good! The place was busy when I came in and the staff was very nice and attentive Overall it is very clean, and there is absolutely no meat or eggs there. I will certainly be back to try other items on the menu!

A vegetarian bistro and we had just been talking about trying more vegetarian dishes? Why not? As the name suggests, it is small and quaint, buried in a strip mall and one of those "blink and you'll miss it" places. The decor reminded me of a contemporary restaurant where everything is chosen based on their ease of ability to be cleaned (and for the record, the place was clean), with enough seats to sit about 15 people, and I may be rounding up. We were the second table to enter and we were greeted promptly and given the menus. Perhaps I was misled by the restaurant name and did not really know what to make of the meat dishes that I saw: Beef burger? Chicken Nuggets and Fries? Crispy Chicken Burger? I saw nothing to indicate they were the vegetarian version of chicken nuggets or beef burgers, and about 2/3 of the menu was vegetarian or vegan options, so I surmised they must have put a few meat options there to satisfy any meat eaters that wander through the door. I settled on the Spaghetti with Veggie Balls and the boyfriend ordered the Veggie Curry. The pasta was quite filling (included garlic bread) and I discovered the veggie balls and/or sauce was a tad above my spiciness tolerance level, and was even spicier than the Veggie Curry. In hindsight, I wasn't surprised: it is my personal experience that a lot of the times a vegetarian dish will have a lot of spices added in. Chalk it up to not reading the ingredients carefully and thinking things through. In terms of service, I thought it was great. Water glasses were filled regularly, the waitress checked up on us to ask how we were enjoying the food. I would be very interested in coming back and trying other items on the menu!

The menu spans from fried chicken sandwiches, to poutine, to traditional Indian street food, and a case full of cakes, many of which are vegan. The service was fantastic, and the person behind the counter was extremely helpful with helping us make decisions from their gigantic menu. Some of the best vegan chicken I've ever had, in addition to a crazy portion of vegan butter chicken poutine. You can really tell everything is made with love and care. Highly recommend.

Vegan and Gluten free desserts available and I was impressed that they started an Indian chaat house menu over 6 months ago. My friend said vegan chicken burger here was amazing so I was enticed to try and yes, her review was solid~! Their chicken and crepe won me over and I really loved the fresh strawberries crepe when I dined in. Service here was friendly and the ambiance is simple and clean with a couple free board/table games to play. It's a decent size with about 3 tables for 4 with couple tables for 2 plus window bar seats. I would definitely return and hope to try more of their vegan and gluten free dessert next time paired with their Indian chaat house items plus a nice cup of Indian masala tea.

My wife & I stopped in for a late brunch. We each ordered a cortado ($4) and a benny: I got the standard "sweet & smoky bacon benny", and my wife got the special benny (which rotates) (each $22 -- a little steep but worth it for the artistry of the dishes and the great decor). The standard benny comes with two scrambled tofu "eggs", seasoned wonderfully, with plant-based bacon, a bit of spinach, tomato, and cashew hollandaise, all served on top of stringy hashbrowns. The special came with 2 Yo eggs (I believe), which leak out "yolk" when you puncture them, like real eggs, served with plant-based bacon, cabbage, and micro greens. Both very tasty. We would have both preferred the bennies to be served on standard English muffins. As is, the hashbrown base is a bit too oily/fried and lacking that hearty feeling, and the waffle base was simply too sweet (a more savoury waffle might work better). But still, both dishes were very enjoyable, artistic, and thoughtfully constructed. If it were up to me, I'd add some healthier options to the brunch menu -- maybe a brunch bowl, give the option of an English muffin base for the bennies, and items with more veggies. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

The D2E meetballs were so satisfying. The topping of spicy mayo complimented the sandwich well. The Sub is well worth the $18. Because I enjoyed my lunch so much I returned for dinner. It exceeded my expectations. I started my dinner with an aperitif, one of their signature cocktail, Mezcal Fizz. It's cranberry, soda and sweet rosemary. It's worth the asking $13. It was light and very refreshin, making it the perfect pre-dinner cocktail. I'm a huge carbonara fan and seeing it on their menu I had to try the vegan version. I'm not going to lie and say you can't tell a differenc, but I'm also not going to lie and say it wasn't good because it was great. It was very flavorful and creamy. The vegan bacon even had a nice smokey flavor. At $25 I would for certain recommend and even enjoy this again myself. I ended a pleasurable dining experience with a serving of cashew strawberry ice cream. OMG for someone who isn't a fan of strawberry ice cream to begin with, this is one I could get behind. Highly recommend asking for a serving yourself. If you're in the area I most def give two thumbs up in recommending Down 2 Earth Plant Parlour. I've already recommended it to the locals I've worked with this week. If travels bring me to Vancouver I would def return to dine in.

We got a reservation a day before and there were plenty of spots available. They had a big drinks menu and quiet a few food options as well. Best part was that they had lots of veggie options! Here's what we got: Drinks - :: Zero-proof pineapple fizz - it def looked as good as it tasted. Very refreshing and fruity! Really enjoyed it. :: Guava aperol margarita - delicious! I could taste the guava and the spice on the rim of the glass was perfectly paired with the drink Food - :: Parmesan plenta fries - was so excited to try it, I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation was amazing, just wish they were a big more crispy but the dipping sauce it came with was really good :: Burrata Bucatini - calabrian chili vodka cream sauce, pancetta, burrata, ricotta, thai basil, grano padano 3/5 :: Brick half chicken - pretty good! I would give it a 4/5 it was really creamy and the chicken was cooked well but I don't think it was seasoned that well. I would say for the portion size and the food, it was a bit overpriced but definitely 5/5 for the ambiance!

Holy smokes, the Acai bowls here are massive. We were soooo full. If we ever come here again, we will just share one bowl with each other. Not sure that we will come here again though. The Acai bowls weren't bad but I've had better. I feel it could have been a bit sweeter. I was not impressed with my mom's Avocado Toast. I could see my mother struggling to cut her Avocado Toast so it seems the crust was quite hard. She ended up leaving a lot of the crust on her plate and just ate the middle of the bread. On the website I had seen Avocado Toast, sandwiches, wraps and Salmon Lox Bagel. I was quite dismayed to walk into this place and not see any of that stuff written on the menu. There was a small sign by the cashier that said to ask about Avocado Toast. I guess by the same token, I would have had to ask about Salmon Lox Bagel. Why make us ask about it? Why not just include it on the huge menu that was up on the wall? Might have made life easier when it came to ordering something for my mom who isn't into Acai bowls like us. This place seems to be somehow shared with Bean Around the World coffee shop which is right next door. There's no wall separating the two shops. You can walk from Anchor Eatery straight into the coffee shop next door. We ended up taking our food and drinks from Anchor Eatery and sitting next door at Bean Around the World coffee shop. Assumed it was allowed since there was no separation between the two shops and nobody tried to kick us out of the coffee shop.
