If you like flakey pastries, tell me you've been to Danish Pastry House. You can find them all over…read morethe GTA inside major malls. I used to frequent the one at Sherway when I used to work in that area. Found out about this factory outlet from some friends so I decided to check it out. Its HIDDEN! Lol not an area i would go explore. Surrounded by newly built commercial buildings. Prices are a little cheaper than retail but they also don't carry their whole collection here. Its whatever you see on those racks lol That flakey cinnamon bun (idk the name) is amazing!! Cinnamon bun in a flakey form omg. Regular cinnamon buns are huge for $3! Tax free when you buy any 6 or more! Covid policies: only 3 people inside at a time.

So this is a very special Danish Pastry House because this is the warehouse location which means…read morethat it's not as done up as the other stores but also has delicious baked goods that are a little bit cheaper. I was visiting a friend who was able to pick up a few of their gigantic cinnamon buns for us to try. They came nicely packaged in the iconic red box so there's no skimping on the aesthetics. The cinnamon buns were not as tightly wound as other ones that I've seen. I thought that the texture of the dough was really good. It's easy for them to get over glazed and kind of hard but this one had the perfect balance of the dough being perfectly cooked with just enough cinnamon and icing for it to be the perfect combination. I had to try really hard not to have a second one because they are gigantic but they are really good!

I had tried their signature shakshuka before, so this time I wanted to order something different…read more The food was both delicious and beautifully presented. The Eggs Benedict Florentine was so good that I finished the entire plate. The poached eggs with salmon and spinach had perfectly runny yolks, and the roasted baby potatoes on the side were very fragrant and satisfying. It was such a classic brunch combination, done really well. The Acai Bowl was fresh and light, with a nice berry flavor and a healthy feel to it. It was not the most memorable thing on the table, but it was still enjoyable and a good option if you want something refreshing and not too heavy before shopping. I went on a Saturday around noon, and it was very busy. I waited about half an hour for a table, but the turnover was fairly quick, so the wait felt manageable. The ambience was lively and pleasant, and the overall experience was still enjoyable despite the crowd.

So they started adjusting the table settings. Strangely, they did this at tables where people were actively dining. I found it distracting when the waitress came by to drop off a light and giant bottle of olive oil; neither of these items fit with the food we ordered. I ended up asking to have both items removed from the table. The food was okay. We got the hummus with falafel, halloumi shakshouka, and a side of crushed potatoes. By far the favourite dish was the hummus with falafel and a side of freshly baked pita. The shakshouka looked like it had been sitting in the pan for a while, like a crust had formed. The pan was warm, not hot and the challah bread dry. Flavour wise it was fine, the sauce seemed like it had been reduced or sitting for a bit before serving. The potatoes were the most disappointing. They were cooked, but cold. I had to ask for them to remake them, and even then they came out less than a minute after she took them back... warm. Overall, I've had better experiences at Landwer before. If you go, definitely get the hummus.
