The darker more Goth version of Newbury Comics for that unique gift for an enthusiast. One will spend quite a lot for a shirt and an umbrella, but I'm glad this place exists. Good customer service.

Man... Stoners unite! I've been going to Spencers since I was a kid. If you wanted a cool black light poster back in the day? You were going to Spencers. Question, when did the name change from Spencers to Spencer Gifts? Was it always this name and I wasn't paying attention? Maybe.. So Spencer Gifts! Back in the days we had Vans, it was always a respectable sneaker / brand until Fast times at Ridgemont High came out. When Jeff Spicoli wore those Vans, Vans took off in the 80s! Tillys is a brand that has not only Vans but a few other brands that's cool and not too preppie. My sons like Tillys. Spencer Gifts? Forget those other stores, its time to get your freak on! You'd come here to buy a tee shirt that says Legalize Weed Now! Want a poster? Any poster? From Bob Marley to Kate Upton (Holy Moley, she's smokin') Back in the day, I know I came here for the Farrah Fawcett poster, you know the one! You saw a nip as well as SEX spelled out in her hair. I bought it back in the day, my mom called it a "Head Shop", at Spencer Gifts. They also have gag cards like, OMG YOU'RE 50. TIME FOR YOUR ANAL EXAM! as well as 30 other gag cards in the same spirit. If you want beer mugs, shot glasses and beer board games? Spencer Gifts If you want to dress like a slutty maid, slutty cop or slutty skank? Spencer Gifts has a section for these outfits. I poked my head in, looked around and bootskooted. Spencer's!

A gift store for hard to find novelty items and merchandise. If you are crazy about that kind of stuff, this store is for you. It has never been my kindl of store even before my oldest child teen's time who liked then unique and out of this world items and had been frequent shopper for a while. On our way to the newly renovated food court last weekend, my second child eyes caught this discontinued Pokemon backpack on their display rack . He is a Pokemon fan since he was on his grade years even up to now and can't pass the chance to get this bag which is in 40% off. There are so many items on sale, ranging from 40% to 70% off. It looks like that the store has huge inventory and ready for back to school craziness. The store is dark. The line for the register is confusing. The associate is not focussed on their customers needs. She covered up by giving us free stores label.

5/5 - Venchi at Roosevelt Field Is a Sweet Slice of Italy You Shouldn't Miss…read more If you're walking through Roosevelt Field Mall and looking for something special--skip the usual food court treats and make your way to Venchi. My wife and I stopped by on a whim, and honestly, it turned into the highlight of our day. This place is more than just a gelato shop--it's a full-on experience for anyone who loves quality chocolate, real Italian gelato, and beautiful presentation. From the moment you walk up to the counter, you're greeted by that incredible aroma of cocoa and roasted hazelnuts. The store is sleek and elegant with golden details and walls stacked high with colorful boxes of chocolate. It immediately sets the tone: this is not your average dessert stop. We both went straight for the gelato, and wow--it was on another level. I ordered the hazelnut (nocciolato) and Cremino, and my wife had pistachio with dark chocolate sorbet. The flavors were unbelievably rich and creamy, made with real, high-quality ingredients you can actually taste. The hazelnut was smooth and nutty with that authentic Italian flavor, while the Cremino had a velvety chocolate-hazelnut swirl that melted in your mouth. The pistachio had just the right balance of sweet and salty, and the dark chocolate sorbet was deep, bold, and not overly sugary--perfect for chocolate lovers. One of the best touches? You get a piece of Venchi's signature chocolate on top of your cone or cup, which feels like a small luxury. We also picked up a small box of their chocolate truffles to go--and we've been slowly savoring them at home. Every bite is rich, indulgent, and tastes like something you'd find in a boutique in Rome or Milan. The staff was friendly, patient, and happy to offer samples (which helped a lot since the flavor list is full of tempting choices). You can tell they actually enjoy working there and take pride in the quality of what they're serving. Yes, it's a bit pricier than your average ice cream shop--but it's totally worth it. You're getting authentic Italian gelato and handcrafted chocolate that's miles ahead of anything else in the mall. If you're shopping at Roosevelt Field and want a sweet break that feels a little elevated, Venchi is a must. It's perfect for date day, a treat with the kids, or even a little solo indulgence. We'll definitely be back--and next time, we're trying the chocolate fountain!

As we're browsing, instead of an employee greeting the customers he would just keep saying "you have to come to this side of the store to order gelato" I did notice a couple of people walk out after that. I was interested in their coffee menu, which had names & illustrations making them look more like dessert coffees - but no description. As I'm standing on the side for gelato orders, I'm once again told where to stand for gelato orders before another employee turns around, sees me and it seemed like was was trying to avoid me. I asked about the coffee drinks and was given just basic descriptions like he couldn't be bothered and was trying to get it over with. Which was unfortunate because that's when I decided to say "thank you have a nice day" and walked out. Their coffee menu was pretty decently priced too. Perhaps I would have ordered a drink along with gelato had the staff been more professional.

Notebooks, pads, envelopes, pens, planners, tape, scissors, labels, colored pencils, etc. (it is a stationery store after all) Elegant gift bags and gift wraps for every taste and occasion Candy and gum at the counter Helium balloons Lottery games (not Quick Draw) Plenty of little knickknacks and last minute gift ideas, especially for children (but enough for the grownups too) Handy ATM, only $2.00 They carry a great selection of cards, featuring American Greetings and some indie brands. Keep in mind, it's not 'half price cards' -- they are not cheap. It's the kind of card selection you find yourself browsing extensively, and going "ooooh" a lot; maybe you even end up buying 'advance' or 'emergency' cards because you know sooner or later you will need to send something special to someone special. All in all, for a card/stationery store it's about as good as it gets, plus it's a great place to shop small.

The flowers I was given were nice but I didn't feel like it was worth $50, I mean, I'm not a florist and don't know the value of each flower but I've purchased flowers here before and today's $50 bouquet looks more like a $25 bouquet I bought here a few months back. The shop's refrigerator wasn't stocked with tons of flowers like many other florists I been to in the past. There were carnations to the left of me when I walked in, some lilies on the counter and some hydrangeas on the floor behind the counter but I didn't notice any roses. Would I shop here again? Maybe ... if I'm in a pinch but I don't think I'll be ordering $50 bouquets again from here. I may not shop here anytime soon but I'm wishing the Village Flower Shoppe continued success in 2021!
