I was having a treat yo'self day and went in for a facial and pedicure. I love my facial and even got compliments on my complexion from friends after I was done. I have rosacea and sensitive skin and I didn't come out all red like I can sometimes after these. I also enjoyed my pedicure and thought they did a nice job. I appreciate that they offer me a beverage and made me feel relaxed. A nice experience overall.

This is exactly why so many people have trust issues when trying a new hairdresser. I asked for a…read morebalayage with caramel highlights and instead received a choppy, brassy, untoned result that looked nothing like what was requested. This work was done by Madelynn. While we were extremely disappointed with both the color outcome and the obvious lack of blending and transition throughout the hair, what ultimately prompted me to leave this review was her response when concerns were raised. Rather than acknowledging the issues, she became defensive when dissatisfaction with the service was expressed. When a refund was requested due to the poor results, there was significant resistance before she eventually agreed to refund less than half of the amount paid. $150 for this inexperienced "balayage" service is a scam. Mistakes can happen, but professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to make things right matter just as much as the service itself. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in all of those areas.

Thank goodness for Andrea Smith and Hair Associates! How good are they? I live in Cary, NC and drive almost 2.5 hours to have my hair done here. Yes...out of all the salons in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and Chapel Hill, I drive all the way down to Salisbury. The stylists here are amazing. They frequently go to hair shows and stay on top of the latest cuts and color. They are professional and friendly, and the best way I can describe the atmosphere of the shop itself is down-to-earth. You get top-notch service at more than reasonable prices and it's like hanging with friends. They also sell a wide range of hair products, make up, and funky accessories, so it's like a mini-shopping trip every time you go. Awesome!

Still no one has even acknowledged that I was there!. A little later another lady came and helped me. Ignoring anyone in your place of business is disrespectful and shows no motivation to get and retain clients. Also it shows no manners. This experience just makes me wonder WHY would any business owner tolerate this. I guess they have all the business they need there. The lady who helped me was very nice and she was not one of the original 5 employees. I will not darken their door again.

The technicians did not push back the nail follicles on either the toes or nails. Normally, I get them pushed back and trimmed off, that did not happen. Mom's nails were ruined before she walked out the door. My nails were not gel coated to the sides. It's probably the worst manicure I've ever received.
