Nail tech couldn't understand English. Asked for toenails to be shortened and rounded. Three times I asked and three times the tech beside her said round. She used cuticle cutters to cut and still kept square. I told her to give me the file. The owner or whoever she is came over and asked if I needed her. I told her I needed someone else to do my nails. She had cut my toenail away on the side. That is all she literally done to the nails. The tech beside me finished the job and another one was doing my manicure. The colors weren't the same, so then the manicurist had to redo the toenails. Fingernails had missed sides and uneven polishing. This place is a joke. They are unprofessional, way overpriced and do terribly sloppy work. I'll never darken their door again. I have used every nail tech from the owners to the newest techs and they have always been extremely kind. They allow you to get pampered while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine. I now come in expecting nothing but the best in fast and friendly manner. They even have a member point system when you check in, where the more you come the more you get a savings. If you go tell them Yaunie sent you. The entire staff is amazing but I have my favorite techs, Erin and Maddie are my favorite techs, but Tonya, Holly, Lynn and Lee are just amazing as well. Me and my friends made an appointment to get sns and tips on our nails. There was three of us and it took over 2 hours with two people being done by one worker. One of my friends was left with a pube in her nail, while all three of our nails where uneven and crooked. The price of 80 dollars with no tip included was ridiculous. read more

I won't be returning... two years ago, I was concerned about the price for a fill but, today I was charged $85 for a BASIC pedicure that lasted about 20 minutes and a full-set, acrylic, no designs.. I liked this place well enough, the guy who did my nails totally grabbed the wrong color powder and I'm stuck with hot pink nails for the rest of my vacation. It should have been more of a baby pink I should have known something was amiss when the powder label read " I'm a princess" as the color name. The guy even assured me it was the right one. The prices are pretty high I paid $55 for SNS I've never paid that much not even in Los Angeles, I pay $40 at pretty much every other place I've ever gone to including Atlanta and San Diego. Not really sure why the price is so high. It's not worst quality I've had but, it's far from the best. The service coming in was horrible, the man greeting us was very pushy. When asking about prices for nails at the beginning on set was $55, at the end of the session the price had gone up to $75. Staff was con walking off to do things or take breaks after minimal work and were sloppy with their job. Clumps are extremely obvious and multiple hairs were seen in the acrylic. I was visiting from out of town and decided to get a mani pedi. The mani pedi was 40 dollars and my mother's gel manicure was 30. The gentleman that did my toe nails was amazing, but the woman who did my nails was awful. She cut me, painted my skin, and did not give me a good manicure. See for yourself (the blue gray nails). I went in to get a pedicure they told me to sit in the chair and they forgot about me and had me wait for 15 minutes before somebody even came to do my feet. Got a clear coat on my toes. while drying they asked me to pay before my toes were dry and nobody came back to check if they were dry or not. They also left the exfoliating scrub all over my legs, and I had my friends with me who got there nails done and both left with wet nails they were ruined as we were leaving the parking lot. I will not be returing at all. I went in to have my acrylic nails SOAKED off but instead they clipped them back and removed them with an unused tip. Because of this my pointer nail almost separated from my finger and half of my ring finger nail is missing. After being in pain and bleeding the person left the remaining acrylic on three of my nails for safety and just pained over them with gel polish as I asked just so I could leave. I had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. The lady never pushed my cuticles back. My toenail polish is a mess. There is polish all over my skin around my toes. I could not believe that the person doing my toes thought this was acceptable. She "fixed" one toe and made a bigger mess. I will have to repaint my toes. I can only speak of the service, or should I say the lack of service that was not offered to me at this particular salon. I came in ,sat down, waited for 10 minutes for someone to finally greet me -she asked me what I wanted to have done-I told her a pedicure -she left and came back a few minutes later and told me which chair I should sit in - She didn't tell me to pick out a color or where I can find the nail polish or anything .I went ahead and picked out a color on my own. I sat in the chair (no water was in the tub) and waited for 15 minutes. No one came over to me to tell me someone will be right with me or offer me anything. After waiting so long, I decided my time is too valuable & decided to leave. When I got up to leave a nail technician said "are you leaving?" I said "yes"-she said "no, don't leave-someone will be here to help you". I said "no thank you" and left. Really??? I read the review before going with my daughter and I was quite disappointed. First off, I called right when they opened to see if I needed an appointment and after some pushing I was told to just come in. When I get there I expected it to be busy and there were only 3 customers in the salon. I told the woman on the phone, the woman up front and the two women doing mine any my daughter's pedi's that we wanted mani and pedi. The woman doing my pedi didn't talk to me to ask a thing, she impaled my big toe with the cuticle trimmer without saying a thing despite my flinching and looking at her funny. I wanted a design on my big toe. When I said that my daughter and I both wanted it suddenly my tech spoke and said sorry I already put the top coat on. I asked the other tech to do it for my daughter since it was our girls day out, she still got it but I had to repeat myself several times. I also had to ask again for the mani for both of us. My daughter got a color change and I got my gel nails but in no way did we get mani's. While I got my gel nails the nail tech changed and she was working on one woman left her to do mine, filed my nails "square with rounded edges" supposedly but my nails were clearly at Sharp angles, uneven and looked like my 2 year old did them. There was gel paint on my cuticle and under my nails along with my previous paint which wasn't fully removed by the tech. The tech also used a drill on my natural nails without asking if it was ok.All in all they seemed like we weren't important, they rushed everything, didn't listen to what we wanted and the cleanliness was sub par at best. The massage chair didn't work, clean towels were dingy and holey, the nail table was covered in dust and God knows what else. If this is the best in statesville people need to raise their standards. All this for $80!!!!!! I could have bought my own gel and uv dryer at Sally and done better! Will not be back. Edit the next day to add that my big toe is now very red, sore and already infected! Seriously! This is horrible! Please save yourself the trouble and pain! Ugh! read more
