Mom, sister and I went in to have a pedicure manicure. The pedicure caused my and my sister's feet to be raw. The technicians did not push back the nail follicles on either the toes or nails. Normally, I get them pushed back and trimmed off, that did not happen. Mom's nails were ruined before she walked out the door. My nails were not gel coated to the sides. I am very happy with my nails! I made a last minute appointment for SNS and was able to get in within an hour of calling. The man who did my nails did great and made sure to check throughout the service to make sure I liked the nail shape and coloring. Worst place I have ever been to. I went there to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady who did it, did the worst job she could possibly do. She was so rough with my head she was jerking it side to side to begin with. She rushed through it so quickly I was thinking there is no possible way she is actually picking up any of the hair. She was done in probably 30 seconds at most. When I left and looked in the mirror I still had wax stuck to my face and just like I thought there was still hair everywhere from her not waxing incorrectly. I originally gave my review 5 stars. Deducting one star because the check-in reward online DOES NOT WORK! However, the services were still phenomenal for the price. I don't get extravagant things done to my nails so when i go in for the basics, I appreciate the little things. I like how they didn't pressure me to get gel or SNS, I prefer regular polish to keep my nails healthy. The pedicure was more than expected for a standard package. Recommend 100% - Staying near Salisbury for a camping trip and decided to have my nails done before going home. I searched Yelp and decided that I would try Avalon, and I'm so glad I did. They were very busy for early Wednesday morning, but I only waited for about 3 minutes for them to call me back to a seat. I had SNS put on my nails, the girl was very fast. She asked a few friendly questions but was otherwise quiet- which I like. I also had a pedi and I can honestly say this was the best and most relaxing pedicure I've ever received. It was a different lady doing this, and she was amazing. One neat thing they have, that I've never seen before is a footrest that folds out for you to rest your foot on while she's scrubbing the bottom. This would be ideal for folks that have a harder time holding their foot up for any length of time. If I ever spend time in the area again, I will definitely return ! read more

I absolutely love this place. They are always friendly and take their time no matter how busy it is. They will give their honest opinion on what they think. I have always had weak and brittle nails and they suggested sns to help them grow. My nails are stronger than ever and long . I got married back in October, I wanted the wedding party to have their nails done. We walked in and there was 7 of us. They were doing full sets to gel to sns and pedicures for everyone. They had us in and out in under an hour and everyone was so pleased. Lastly, I am an avid lifter and broke one of my nails that I just got done 2 days prior to this incident. I called ahead and told them what happened and when I got there they fixed the nail and was very nice and did not charge me anything to fix it even though it was 100% my fault.
