I've come here on and off for a couple years now, out of convenience. The individuals who do my mani or pedi are always nice and considerate, but the place could use a deep clean and updated pricing sheets. The last two times I've gone to get pedis, a gentlemen (employee) that wasn't with a client was posted up in a pedi chair scrolling social media or watching something on his phone very loud, which I found very inconsiderate. Also, the pedis were completed within 30 mins. And for a service that has continued to go up in price, I'd expect a more thorough massage experience. While their work has always been above average for me, that tends to get overlooked because of everything listed above. For context: I get gel pedis. read more

The service is always great, the atmosphere is pleasant, my favorites are Phil and Tony.

First time getting my nails done here & it was not a pleasant experience. Had to clarify what I wanted 3 times and the acrylic was not filed properly so my nails snag things. The only thing I liked was the design. Not sure if I will return. read more

nothing sterilized....looks like they use instruments from previous customers with out sterilizing. Also the towels looked used too...disgusting! read more

Each one of the employees here are recognizing you when you walk through the door asking "May I help you?" I did not have an appointment, however, the man pointed me to an open chair to get my feet done first. He was the same man who also did my nails! He was very attentive to my request! I ask for almond shaped nails, specific colors, added glitter, & finished promptly! Yes I love this friendly customer service & I will be back!! read more

Generally horrible. Wouldn't even soak off the nails and caused blood!! Barley did anything right! Had to help take off my own nails so what's the point of this place?? Prices are upped and quality is shit. read more

Worst nail appointment I've ever experienced. Most disturbing is that "The Boss" is who did my nails. In my experience, a refill takes about an hour for the technician to properly prepare the nail, refill the acrylic, and paint them. This appointment lasted 25 minutes. He rushed through removing the old polish, kept burning me with the file only to tell me it wasn't his fault, applied the acrylic haphazardly, didn't file them straight, and did a crappy job applying the polish. I will never go back. read more

do not come here for a pedicure. I got a deluxe pedicure for $35 and it was not even 15 minutes long. the man never even filed my toenails and at the end of it, the nail polish was bubbly/textured on my big toe. How does a nail salon not even know how to paint a toenail correctly? 0/10 experience. read more

The people here are very nice and like to cut up, no harm in that. They can also get you in ASAP. They also won't close their doors at 6 or 6:30 if their sign says they close at 7:30. They are open and there for you if the sign is on! The downfall is you feel rushed and *sometimes* it shows in the work. The owner is a hard worker, hardly ever closed, so he is usually burnt out/tired. The small details that you would expect in a pedi/mani aren't always there if you catch him on one of his tired days. He even told me he was falling asleep on one lady while filing her nails one time. Overall, this place isn't terrible. They are very friendly and offered $5 off every time I come back, but not too impressed with my nails. Personally, I wouldn't make it my usual spot and if I were to return it would be just for a pedi. I've been in before for pedis, but the most recent time I had a fill in and a broken nail, but they didn't even care to take broken nail off...just cured it with more acrylic and formed a nail with that so it's very thick. You can also see the line from where the acrylic grew out the first time on top of the "new" or second coat. Hoping it'll last me at least 2 weeks and then I'll soak off. If you need somewhere quick and your usual spot isn't available, I would recommend here as last resort. read more

Lashes fell off after 2 days. Looked beautiful for 1 day. The tech was late but she was really apologetic about it her lunch went late.

This is a picture of my nails i got them done 2 days ago and the man wanted to cut my cuticles so i let him. made my fingers hurt once he put the liquid polymer for the acrylic. my nails are so thin and they aren't even the same length. my nails bent like i got dollar store nails. read more

First.. the pedicure was wonderful.. that said . They had two different musics playing at the same volume and I felt like I was having a bad dream.. indie pop and some sort of tranquil piano music the mix was something nightmare are made of.. two.. the nail tech didn't listen to a single thing I said.. asked for stiletto French that matches my toes.. toes were done first. Also asked that they have some curve to them as I don't like straight flat nails .. I assumed she would add more acrylic to give an illusion of an apex.. realizing the tips didn't have a curve to them.. understandable you can only work with what you have.. she didn't adjust.. asked if I liked the color pink acrylic she used.. I said no.. that pink is not the same as my toes.. which were a nude pink.. she used a dark PINK acrylic .. she heard what I said and yet I still had to stop her as she attempted to start doing the French tip on that acrylic color .. asked for some jewels for my ring finger on both hands.. ignored it but at that time.. I mean just get me out of here. Clearly you're not listening to anything I've said or asked for .. I paid but I won't be going back. read more

I would have preferred the technician being honest about possibly being uncomfortable with my minimalist nail design than trying to wing it. I just wanted a simple one or two white stripe on top of green. The stripes were uneven, sloppy lines and bubbled. If they told me this would be difficult I would have respected that and just kept them green. Now it looks like I did my own nails instead of having them done professionally. Other than that, they were quick despite being a walk in which impressed me read more

My experience here was unfortunate and will never return!! Went there with My sister. They where friendly but the guy who did my nails did the worst nail job I've ever gotten!! I got acrylic, and requested almond shaped nails. He rushed through the whole time.made me wait while he did other people's nails in between mine. The shape of all my nails where so uneven that I couldn't believe it. I kept telling him to fix them and every time he fixed them it was worse. The guy who did my sisters nails did a great job though. Our manicures came out so bad that honestly a 10 year old could of done better. We also had to wait 30 minutes for them to finish my manicure cause they kept attending 3 people at a time. The bill came out to $150 for 2 people. For horrible service I would say that's pushing it. read more

My daughter and I got our nails done a little over a week ago but her nails have popped off and I have one that is coming loose. The colors that we used for our nails was fine but the acrylic was applied too thick and my nails look super thick. The shape of my nails are square but the thickness make them look a little uneven. Im not really satisfied with my nails for what I paid for. read more

This store is somewhat clean and has new salon chairs. I would not go here again because it was extremely noisy and the pedicurist scraped my feet so much that now I have a rash on my heels. Overall, find another nail salon in Salisbury. Cleanliness: 3/5 Workers: 2.5/5 Price: 2.5/5 read more

From walking in the door to walking out the door...20 min. $35 "deluxe" pedicure that included soak, scrub, mask, polish removal, nail cutting, cuticles, callous removal, nail painting and I think a massage (not sure because it went so fast). Did I mention they never even gave me the opportunity to pick out my color...she just put back on the color I had. They rushed me out the door so quick I almost tripped. Worst "pampering" I have ever experienced. read more

I honestly don't know what to say for this place. I saw two people complain about their service and multiple people walk out because of the wait. I went here bc my regular place was closed for holiday. The pedicure wasn't awful but it wasn't worth the price. I got a SNS fill in and he did not take off my previous light orange color so it showed through the white powder. He said if I wanted the white to be brighter I needed to get gel polish over it & THEN PROCEEDED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT!‍ It was plenty of bright but he did not take all the orange off. He nicked me several times and it got way to hot on my nails to where I had to pull away. When I left I noticed the polish lifting on my nail, he did have no problem fixing it. I honestly have no idea how this place is open, It made me grateful for Kim's Nails and Spa. read more

I went here to get my nails done because they were one of the only shops open on Sunday, it was my first time here and my last. I wanted short basic French tips. I was never ask what shape I wanted, I guess I should have spoken up and told them square but I ended up with "natural" looking round nails which I'm not a fan of especially for French tips. The guy doing my nails was nice and talked to me but the other two employees sat around with their masks off the whole time playing on their phones and eating. The part I am really dissatisfied with is how he completely cut my cuticles off then drilled and filed the heck out of them-- I was holding back tears. You can see in the picture that skin was broken and I bled. It burns when I wash my hands. The final result looks like I could have saved my $40 and done them with the kit I have at home. I was simply trying to spoil myself for my new job but it seems to have been a waste. read more

Paradise Nails & Spa - Notice the poor quality around the edges and the scars on my cuticles from being over-filed. - Nail Salons Near Me - Salisbury, North Carolina

I have had two awful experiences at Paradise Nails. I would give 0 stars, but it made me give at least 1. I am from out of town, and twice needed to find a quick nail salon to get a fill/fix a nail. The first experience was in November 2020 - just wanting a basic French white tip and I got this. It's pretty hard to mess up a French tip that bad but my second trip today has me outraged. I went in needing a nail fixed that was done at a different salon in Florida, which I know is extremely difficult to try and match correct colors to a different salon's colors (even though it's just a white tip), so I wasn't too critical and it was just one nail that needed fixing, so what's the worst that could happen? This gentleman butchered my nail FILING it. Blood everywhere, all over the table, his hands, all over the tools, etc. He didn't even wash the tools or tend to my bloody finger, he just kept going and no apology. Posted here are my results (with bloody finger that could possibly get infected and is going to be extremely uncomfortable.) To have one bad experience, hey everyone has a bad day, but this man should not have a license with how bad he cut my finger with just a nail file. Not to mention, my ONE nail I asked to fix looks terrible, but again, was not expecting an award-winning performance here. Do not recommend. read more

I had a pedicure done on Oct. 15, 2021. The lady who did my toes, not only was super rough when it came to cleaning under the toe nails, but CUT me when removing my cuticles with a nipper. They DO NOT sterilize their tools after use. She used the same tools and purple scrub that was used on the lady next to me. She did not do anything after telling her she made me bleed on my toe. The lady next to me was writhing in pain from her scraping underneath her big toe. It was traumatizing. Im just thankful I did not get an infection. I would NOT recommend this place. read more

I do not normally write reviews, but this salon definitely deserved one. This salon completely exceeded my expectations and had the best service I've ever experienced at a nail salon.
