I am currently staying at the RV park behind the restaurant. A few of us are working on the road project in Dubois. Currently the grill is open for takeout and should soon be fully open again. This business has been closed for several years & just reopened. The new owners have done a fantastic job remodeling- it is bright, welcoming & CLEAN. The restrooms have also been upgraded. We stopped to grab lunch & the food was great! The hamburgers were freshly made - not frozen hockey pucks. Delish!!!! They offer wine & beer currently & are awaiting a liquor license. This is a place you can feel comfortable taking your kids. Stop if you are traveling through - you won't be disappointed. My Wife & I were on a road trip to Glacier National Park from Arizona in late June 2017. We stopped in another little town South of here and found nothing. The next exit was in Spencer, so would we be lucky? We spotted the Spencer Grill on the South side of the highway--what the heck, we'll try it! So glad we did as the restaurant appeared very clean and friendly. Now the big question, what to order? My wife order the BLT and it had 12 pieces of BACON! I ordered a cheese, bacon burger with fries. All items are cooked to order so they arrive HOT! Service was great and the restrooms were clean! Chicken fried steak and eggs...yummy....eggs and bacon the Best with4 large pieces of thick bacon....Breakfast sausage the size we have never seen before and the ham and eggs unbelievable! The owner very hospitable and friendly! Well worth the stop off the interstate and well worth a drive just to eat here! Exit 180 off I15 in Idaho you will love it!
