This is downtown Dubois, ID.. A quiet little town with amazing people living here!

Ok.. where to start??! The credit with getting me in the door goes to my brother-in-law Sean.. He stumbled across this place on his way to Polson MT up north with a moving van. The short story is that the van broke down in their parking lot and wouldn't start after he had lunch here. Anyway, I spent enough time with these fine folks to get a good feel for the town, the people in the town, and of course their food. Is all about the people as far as I'm concerned. Of course the food is quite good as well since this IS a food & restaurant review. But what really makes things stand out is the very friendly staff. On my way out of town I felt led to stop here again just a few days ago and yes I had dinner there. One of the ladies there, Danette, suggested the special of the day which was a very big sandwich and a bowl of soup. I ordered this at her suggestion and it arrived shortly thereafter. The sandwich was pretty big (lots of meat, spinach as I recall), and was just what I needed to fill me up. I don't recall right off the top of my head what flavor the soup was but it was hot and good and that's all that matters to me. Perhaps you're thinking this place is off the beaten track, but just humor me and give it a try. They offer lunch and breakfast too. Unfortunately I neglected to take any pics of the food or the restaurant, but did take a picture of the downtown area just past the restaurant. This is just one of those countless small towns within the fine US of A and it is loaded with amazing people that really set the stage for what this country is really about! Don't overlook this place or the fine people that reside here and call it "home"! I believe that you'll be blessed as I was for spending some time here. I will be back more on my way to visit my sister & brother-in-law in Montana in the future! God bless you all for reading this!

We were passing by on the highway with kids, and we stopped here we're glad we did . They are so nice and even spilt the meal & shake for the kids . The best part is the food was excellent and good size. We really love the blue moon shake too. Highly recommended!

Now for the review: This is a coffee TRAILER! I pulled right up and there was no line at 9AM on a Wednesday. I was greeted by 2 employees who were very kind & helpful while ordering, asking what my plans were for the day & wishing me safe travels. I got a large cold brew with a splash of oat milk & a stevia (my go-to). I was actually very impressed with the flavor & taste, I expected it to be watered down but it's good! I would recommend anyone local or travelers passing by to grab a coffee here!

A big ole coffee camel with a great thirst, wandering the flatlands of Rexburg. To make it worse, it was a Sunday. So honestly, the fact that I could get coffee on a Sunday in a predominately Morman area made my day. I don't give five stars out easily...but why only three stars? Well, I pulled up beside The Grind, which is basically a food truck trailer. This doesn't bother me at all I love food trucks! The menu looked good and I ordered something that I had seen on Facebook, because after finding them on Yelp I wanted to see some current info so I researched them there. My order was taken wrong and I was handed a blended coffee, no big deal, but I know for a fact I didn't ask for that because I never, ever order my coffee blended. The barista was super nice about it, apologized and handed me my original cinnamon-based hot drink and it was really good. She even made it half sweet, as I had requested. So why only three stars? Well, it was the conversation I had to listen to while I waited on my coffee being made. These are the little things people, and a lot of times companies don't understand that it can really make a difference in a customer experience. The conversation pretty much went like this: "She is such a bleep, I bleeping hate her, she's such a bleeping gossip. What the bleep was she thinking? " Something like that. You get the picture. Now I'm all about a well placed cuss word..but it was awkward for the full 8 minutes I had to sit there. It was easy to hear...no straining, and they didn't hold back because I was sitting there and a guy standing up in the back saw me sitting at the window in my car. I didn't want to make eye contact, I felt like I was intruding on their space. But, I'm just a coffee camel, looking for my coffee mate in a pretty desolate desert for coffee. So three stars for providing a place to get some Java. I just wish it had been more of an oasis.

They have quite a bit of seating in the small layout which is always welcome. I visit a lot of coffee shops because everyone I know drinks coffee. I don't personally drink or have ever drank coffee. I'm a tea person all day, everyday. I was going to grab a cuppa but with the blazing August temps I wanted something bubbly and refreshing and they delivered! I ordered a Lotus drink - Cougar's Blood- without the lotus (the lotus is highly caffeinated which I didn't want and don't need) with sparkling water. It was FANTASTIC! It had the slight sweetness with the refreshing and clean on the palate bubbles that I wanted. After trying mine everyone wanted exactly what I ordered. Ha! The staff are great and were so friendly and helpful with suggestions. I returned to the shop two more times during our trip for the same drink. If you're in or live in the area definitely go check out this thriving small business!

The coffee/espresso drinks, and service definitely made up for it. They were patient and friendly, despite being busy In the drive-thru. They took the time needed to help the 3 of us (visiting for the first time) to navigate their menu, and make sure we got exactly what we wanted--OUTSTANDING service. Love the games at the eclectic scattering of tables around the floor. They have unique games and coasters on the tables. My daughter and I enjoyed a game of "Shut the Box." The seating, is unfortunately, not enough. I fear I might go there at some point and have no place to sit, but even that would be okay as we would just peruse the brilliant stones and crystals along with other unique items until a table came open. Their gift shop is pretty amazing, with lots of unique eye-catching finds. We love this place. We will be back.

They offer a solid lineup of regular staples alongside a rotating selection of featured drinks each month--giving you a great reason to keep coming back and see what's new. We tried the Oatmeal Cookie and Honey Lavender lattes, swapping in oat milk to lighten the caloric load. Both delivered a rich, prominent coffee flavor and were pleasantly sweet without going overboard. While both were excellent, the Honey Lavender edged out as my favorite. Every drink can be customized to your liking, and they're happy to fill your own reusable cup if you bring one. Street parking is surprisingly easy to find, even on a Saturday around lunchtime. The only downside is the somewhat limited hours (8:30 AM - 2:30 PM), so plan accordingly if you're passing through later in the day.

I told her that was fine with us and asked if a spot with hookups came available could she please put us in it. After I hung up I realized that I did not give her my phone number so I called back. Jess said that she did indeed have a full hookup space and that she had already moved us into it. When we arrived we were greeted by Brad the bar tender.
