Spencer grill This RV park is a little gem. I found it on the Harvest Host website and when I checked for availability they were showing full. So I took a chance and called just to see if maybe they could fit us in for one night. I spoke to Jess and she allowed as to how she could make room for us but it may be without any hookups. I told her that was fine with us and asked if a spot with hookups came available could she please put us in it. After I hung up I realized that I did not give her my phone number so I called back. Jess said that she did indeed have a full hookup space and that she had already moved us into it. When we arrived we were greeted by Brad the bar tender. He directed us to our spot and told us they were open and serving food until 10:00. Once we got settled we went back in for dinner. We had fish & chips, wings and Matt's hot chicken sandwich. The food was good and the service was even better and pretty fast. It is located about 1/3 mile from the I-15 exit ramp. The scenery is awesome, and considering how close to the freeway it is it was decently quiet. We will definitely stay here again. read more

Very cute place and atmosphere. Service was excellent, all the staff were extremely friendly. We had the Biscuits & Gravy and Country Steak w/ eggs and Loaded Hash-browns, delicious down home comfort food. Definitely recommend this small, easy access restaurant, off I-15 in Spenser, ID. Jumped on bikes in Idaho falls early on a Tuesday morning to have breakfast and meet the new owners. So glad we did, as we were greeted by smiles and complete friendliness. As the food was cooking (I ordered the "Rancher") my taste buds and nose were going into overdrive from the kitchen aroma. Never have I had such good sausage as I did here (had to ask what kind it was since I'll be looking to buy my own). They've done so many great things to make it comfy, roomy & inviting to sit and enjoy friends. Thanks, y'all were great and we'll be back! read more

Oh my goodness! Where to begin? I had the BLT with extra mayo and a side of onion rings. The bacon was THICK and extra crispy. The onion rings were absolutely delicious and freshly fried. Service was perfection with a smile. Small talk appreciated. He brought out options for beer and enjoyed my selection. Clean and adorable serring with a nicely kept up restroom. We live in rural Fremont County, St Anthony, Idaho. My family and I love to venture out into the wild along the Continental Divide, between Idaho and Montana. There are roads from east to west on both sides of the Divide. The Spencer Grill gives us a good starting or ending point. Their Grill is tops which makes it all worth while. This is a teeny tiny town with 1 old fashioned gas pump. I guess this grill will be closing and selling soon. I believe it it the only restaurant in Spencer. It is family owned and operated. The top floor is the restaurant and downstairs is their home. I laughed when I saw that people would ride their Polaris to come eat. The owners were pretty friendly. My daughter and I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with tater tots and I ordered a small breakfast with french toast, bacon and egg. Was just the right size. Also the flavor of the food was very tasty. Too bad they have to close. read more

Driving to Boise we stumbled across this gem. At the fork in the road at the exit we had to go right or left. Short debate ensued, right it was, and there was Spencer's. We considered grabbing our food to go but the selections dictated we grab a seat. Everything was amazing! The food. The service. Everything. I opted for the shrimp and veggies and my husband couldn't decide on between the BLT and the Beef Steak So he got both. The food defeated him. But he gave it a good try. So this review is purely based on the fact that my husband and I were passing through and stopped to ask for some help due to car trouble. I feel embarrassed to say that I did not catch the name of the gentleman who was kind enough to try to help us in anyway he could. He contacted a friend to try to get us a mechanic to help ok on a Sunday, he checked to see if he had any oil he could give us personally. In the middle of running a busy restaurant he found time for kindness. I believe he was the owner or the manager. I will be forever grateful that people like him exist. If we ever find ourselves passing through Spencer again we will most definitely enjoy a meal here. I saw the food coming out of the kitchen and it looked delicious! Arrived at 12:15 and we received great service and great food. It's a small restaurant off I-15, so I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. I got the breakfast burrito (without meat) and it was amazing. My partner got the club sandwich and he enjoyed it too. They were super easy to work with regarding my vegetarian diet. Really good restaurant if you find yourself on I-15 near Spencer, Idaho. My friend H and I were roadtripping our way from Salt Lake City to Wallula, WA, and we wanted breakfast. Little did we know there's not much to eat on this stretch of road (gorgeous scenery though). Spencer Grill impressed. Great coffee and the meatiest of bacon. Good eggs. Smaller interior with some tables and counter seating. They serve alcohol! Bathrooms are down a flight of stairs. If you're challenged, pee before you go there. read more
