Spencer grill This RV park is a little gem. I found it on the Harvest Host website and when I checked for availability they were showing full. So I took a chance and called just to see if maybe they could fit us in for one night. I spoke to Jess and she allowed as to how she could make room for us but it may be without any hookups. I told her that was fine with us and asked if a spot with hookups came available could she please put us in it. After I hung up I realized that I did not give her my phone number so I called back. Jess said that she did indeed have a full hookup space and that she had already moved us into it. When we arrived we were greeted by Brad the bar tender. He directed us to our spot and told us they were open and serving food until 10:00. Once we got settled we went back in for dinner. We had fish & chips, wings and Matt's hot chicken sandwich. The food was good and the service was even better and pretty fast. It is located about 1/3 mile from the I-15 exit ramp. The scenery is awesome, and considering how close to the freeway it is it was decently quiet. We will definitely stay here again. read more

Jumped on bikes in Idaho falls early on a Tuesday morning to have breakfast and meet the new owners. So glad we did, as we were greeted by smiles and complete friendliness. As the food was cooking (I ordered the "Rancher") my taste buds and nose were going into overdrive from the kitchen aroma. Never have I had such good sausage as I did here (had to ask what kind it was since I'll be looking to buy my own). They've done so many great things to make it comfy, roomy & inviting to sit and enjoy friends. Thanks, y'all were great and we'll be back! read more

Very cute place and atmosphere. Service was excellent, all the staff were extremely friendly. We had the Biscuits & Gravy and Country Steak w/ eggs and Loaded Hash-browns, delicious down home comfort food. Definitely recommend this small, easy access restaurant, off I-15 in Spenser, ID. Location also has a few RV hookups available at a reasonable price. We'll definitely be stopping in again! read more

We booked a night here on our way back home. Our check in was easy & we were greeted by the owner & given an easy back in site. My wife and I enjoyed the local IPA and our food. Service was excellent. read more

Oh my goodness! Where to begin? I had the BLT with extra mayo and a side of onion rings. The bacon was THICK and extra crispy. The onion rings were absolutely delicious and freshly fried. Service was perfection with a smile. Small talk appreciated. He brought out options for beer and enjoyed my selection. Clean and adorable serring with a nicely kept up restroom. Off the beaten path but worth it. There is an opal mine across the road that we went to as well. read more

Super grateful to land on this place during our roadtrip. The food was really good and filling. Home style meals. The mini breakfast with a pancake was massive. And that pancake was amazing. The biscuits are also phenomenal. The service was also great. Paul was every friendly, patient with my crazy boys, and made it feel like we'd stopped at a friend's place on the way. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing Place. Amazing Food. Amazing Staff. Highly recommend stopping here for some great food.

Short and sweet - just make the effort to stop. It's hands down one of the best burgers I've had in a long long time. It's in a league of its own quite frankly. It starts with that grill and im telling you they knew how to season it. Not much i can add to this review other than its everything the other reviews already capture...and more. The warm welcoming to the amazing food - start to finish - all exceptional. Get the onion rings, get the fries and have to burger!! It's also dog friendly so you don't have to eat in your car to keep the hound cool! They brought out fresh water for him and just made all of us more than welcome!! We will always make a point to stop here - it's a no brainer!! Wow!! read more

The service was friendly and fast even though they were busy. Food was good. We had burgers and fries with their homemade fries sauce. Highly recommend the sauce. Clean environment and the breeze from the open window was amazing. We are from Phoenix so windows are usually closed in August. Worth the visit on our cross country road trip. read more

Dog friendly! Nicest ice cream waitresses Rhylee and Layten! Ask for them if you go. We live in rural Fremont County, St Anthony, Idaho. My family and I love to venture out into the wild along the Continental Divide, between Idaho and Montana. There are roads from east to west on both sides of the Divide. The Spencer Grill gives us a good starting or ending point. Their Grill is tops which makes it all worth while. Look forward to a very good experience. Great Service, best food, great experience, love it. Blaine and Marion Fife read more

This is a teeny tiny town with 1 old fashioned gas pump. I guess this grill will be closing and selling soon. I believe it it the only restaurant in Spencer. It is family owned and operated. The top floor is the restaurant and downstairs is their home. I laughed when I saw that people would ride their Polaris to come eat. The owners were pretty friendly. My daughter and I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with tater tots and I ordered a small breakfast with french toast, bacon and egg. Was just the right size. Also the flavor of the food was very tasty. Too bad they have to close. read more

Can you believe how unprofessional the response was? I was going to leave it at 2 stars, but they clearly don't mind losing certain types of customers. read more

Driving to Boise we stumbled across this gem. At the fork in the road at the exit we had to go right or left. Short debate ensued, right it was, and there was Spencer's. We considered grabbing our food to go but the selections dictated we grab a seat. Everything was amazing! The food. The service. Everything. I opted for the shrimp and veggies and my husband couldn't decide on between the BLT and the Beef Steak So he got both. The food defeated him. But he gave it a good try. I hope the potatoes in the rest of Idaho are as amazing. read more

This is a must stop!!! The best homemade fries! Service was friendly and done with a smile! Paul the owner even took a minute to visit with us. This is a family run business with great food!! Can't wait to go back read more

So this review is purely based on the fact that my husband and I were passing through and stopped to ask for some help due to car trouble. I feel embarrassed to say that I did not catch the name of the gentleman who was kind enough to try to help us in anyway he could. He contacted a friend to try to get us a mechanic to help ok on a Sunday, he checked to see if he had any oil he could give us personally. In the middle of running a busy restaurant he found time for kindness. I believe he was the owner or the manager. I will be forever grateful that people like him exist. If we ever find ourselves passing through Spencer again we will most definitely enjoy a meal here. I saw the food coming out of the kitchen and it looked delicious! Plus the restaurant has a cool local vibe! read more

Arrived at 12:15 and we received great service and great food. It's a small restaurant off I-15, so I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. I got the breakfast burrito (without meat) and it was amazing. My partner got the club sandwich and he enjoyed it too. They were super easy to work with regarding my vegetarian diet. Plus they have ice cream and their diner coffee wasn't burnt. It's worth the stop. read more

Food is ok large portions. The service is amazing. The owner does it all. I had the prime sandwich. Tasty but I was expecting a piece of prime rib...it was very thinly sliced small pieces of meat. Make the drive to Spencer and try it out. read more

Awesome little, side of the road restaurant. First, the fries are AMAZING! Be sure to order some. 2nd, the French dip was so good. The steak is well-seasoned and tender and the au-jus is really flavorful. The salmon and potatoes were delicious as well. And, the service was great! Driving between Yellowstone and Glacier, we needed a food stop and this was the only place around. Everything was delicious! We ordered the chicken pita, pancakes, ultimate BLT, classic burger, and philly cheese steak. Everyone loved everything. The scenery was beautiful. And the servers were kind. This place might be in the middle of "nowhere"... but they know how to cook some dang food! Wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. read more

Really good restaurant if you find yourself on I-15 near Spencer, Idaho. My friend H and I were roadtripping our way from Salt Lake City to Wallula, WA, and we wanted breakfast. Little did we know there's not much to eat on this stretch of road (gorgeous scenery though). Spencer Grill impressed. Great coffee and the meatiest of bacon. Good eggs. Smaller interior with some tables and counter seating. They serve alcohol! Bathrooms are down a flight of stairs. If you're challenged, pee before you go there. read more

Overpriced and low quality food. My husband's burger was way over cooked. Servers were friendly and food came fast.

Good food. Great service. Best spot to stop within 100 miles on the 15. No better place to recharge after hours on the road. Justin is probably the best server I've had in a long long time. Attentive, nice, and a good chat. read more

Looking for a terrific little roadside dinner. This is the place. The food is carefully prepared and was great. The place has great Idaho charm, with wagon wheel lamps and wonderful panoramic views.
