There was curb damage and light corrosion around the wheel bolt area so in addition to mounting and balancing the new Pirellis I had them do a full refinish. The attention to detail was very well appreciated! The factory colors were a perfect match, even down to the the CNC milled finish. A nice thick coat of clear locks in the beautiful work H&W did on these wheels. They even used dark colored wheel weights to blend in better with the color of the barrel of the wheel. Weights were added correctly, not all over the place but in one area on each balance point of the wheel (I used to work in a shop so I can appreciate a good balance job). Zero vibration all the way up to highway speed. Couldn't be happier. Already sent a friend their info to repair his Porsche wheels. A+ shop. Real gentlemen to deal with and very reasonably priced.

Great place for hubcaps!…read more I was searching everywhere for hubcaps for my car... I found some sites online that claimed they had it, but after the order was placed the site had to cancel the order because they couldn't get stock (this happened on 2 different websites). Then I came here... not only did this place have NEW (in the package and everything) hubcaps- they were slightly less money (and of course no shipping and handling). The place is filled with hubcaps- an incredible selection. Plus the manager was very knowledgeable. All you have to do is say the year and model and he'll know what you need. Highly recommend.

I would like to take this opportunity to let the world know that I'm tickled pink with the…read moreoutstanding and professional work AutoMat has done on the installation of a manually-operated convertible top for my MR2 sports car. Without hesitation, I am recommending AutoMat to anyone who wants the highest quality of workmanship for their car. I definitely would give AutoMat the maximum stars possible. My new top fits like a glove, it opens and closes with ease, and it has a nice, tight fit when it's closed. Now, be advised that I am writing this recommendation, not one or two days after, but a few weeks after the work was done. I'm doing this because I wanted to be absolutely sure that I am 100% satisfied with the work done before I go endorsing anyone, and I certainly am - there have been no leaks at all considering the car is not garaged and it has already been through four heavy rainstorms and half a hurricane! The top still opens and closes with the greatest of ease, and it really looks terrific - as if it were installed yesterday. I know for a fact this convertible top installation was not an easy install. I once had it done several years ago by a shop who claimed they were experienced, but they ended up doing a botch job and had my car in their garage for three days when this is really a one day job. That cheap top they installed did not last long, so when I decided to have it replaced because the quality of the top and the installation was poor, I began to search around for another company to install the new top. I was quite surprised to learn that some shops simply turned down the job because it was either too complicated, they were too busy, or maybe they just didn't know how to do it. Some shops took my name and number and said they would get back to me with an estimate. They never did. It was through a show-biz friend of mine that I learned about AutoMat. I want to mention that every employee I met at AutoMat was very professional, courteous, and helpful in addressing any question or concern that I had. The name of the gentleman I worked with is Tim, and I strongly recommend bringing your car in and speaking with him first to discuss what you would like to have done. It'll cost you nothing to find out how reasonable first-class quality work can be. Tim listens carefully to what the customer wants, or has to say, and he can offer valuable input or options to your ideas stemming from his years of experience. And when it comes to doing the work on time, my car was ready for pickup when promised. In my case, the same day. Last but not least, there were no add-ons or surprises to the bill. What I ended up paying was exactly what he quoted me at the beginning, nothing more. Now that I have seen and experienced the excellent quality of work AutoMat has to offer, I will no doubt be going back for future projects. AutoMat is now my go-to place for any upholstery or convertible top work. Give them a try, visit the shop, you'll see what I mean.

Classic Leyland Restorations in Prospect, CT (who have done wonderful mechanical and bodywork on my Mini - I highly recommend them as well), recommended AutoMat. The owner Tim provided an estimate around half the price of two other shops that I had approached (one very far away in PA) and could schedule me in just a few weeks. The final cost was higher due both to reinforcements/padding they applied to prevent the frame spines from tearing the new skin, and their decision to remove the entire frame from the roof of the car, but it was still less expensive than other shops. And their customer service is top-notch - they even gave the car a courtesy interior cleaning and gave me a lift to the train station after my first attempt to pick up the car. I say "1st attempt" because the top wasn't 100% right at first - the new skin looked great, but the mechanism was binding when opening and closing. But they worked on it further and I was happy with how it functioned when I returned again to pick it up. Verdict: Skip the other shops; Go to AutoMat - they do great work!

Even if 1/4 of the fantastic reviews for RCT Performance were truthful and authentic, we would have used them. But to have close to 100 FIVE STAR reviews, is a huge accomplishment.
