They corrected the issue, they striped the wheels and recoated the gloss finish, and the wheels came out looking proper. I had my calipers done expecting a clean, professional finish, but the condition I received them in was honestly unacceptable. The coating was poorly done, with noticeable imperfections and areas that looked rushed and unfinished. What makes the situation even more frustrating is how the business handled the issue afterward. I provided pictures showing the condition of the calipers when I received them, and the pictures speak for themselves. Despite the obvious quality issues, they refused to refund my money or take responsibility for the work. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business handles those mistakes. In this case, I feel like I was left with poor-quality work and out of my money with no reasonable resolution. I live close the shop and when I googled rim repair they were the first to come up. I had a blowout on the hwy when I ran over an object in the road which bent the inner edge of the rim. I put the spare on and went in for a quote. The quote was reasonable for the work and they asked me to leave the rim with them and pick it up at 5pm the next day. I left a deposit for the repair and a used tire. I returned at 4pm the next day to see if they were done bc they close at 530pm and I wanted to check the work in case something needed to be fixed. Turns out they couldn't get the tire size I needed yet they hadn't contacted me. They also said the rim wasn't back yet bc they send it offsite. I asked what my options were and they said they could order the tire and have it two days later but brand new which isn't what I requested or paid for so it would be more. I said that there were at least 10 tire shops within half a mile from them can we get a tire from one of them? They said yes but you would need to go buy it and bring it and they'll mount it and calibrate it. I find a shop close by that's 24 hours and go buy just the used tire for 30% more than what NYC wheels quoted me and hustled the tire back. Then waited 30 min for the rim to come back. Then waited 20 min for someone to come mount the tire on it and place it on my 2023 rav4 prime. They just charged me for service and removed the tire charge and I left. Right away the car pulled to the right. They advertise how they balance and test the tires before mounting them and I realized they hadn't done that. Not bc I rushed them but bc they were closing for the day. Also the tire was at 49 psi when it should've been at 35. I had to go release air at the gas station myself. I also noticed that the Toyota 18 inch rim was all scuffed up in various areas which were not there before. Plus the small center logo cap was missing. I returned the next day and mentioned the car heavily veering to the right and the manager I believe said that they aren't responsible for that and i should get an alignment. The tire pressure was my responsibility too. He had me wait for 10 min while he scolded the staff which was there but wasnt the staff who assisted me about the cap and then found it somewhere and put it on the wheel and said you're good to go and walked away without making eye contact or saying thank you for coming in or sorry about the inconvenience or anything close to customer service. It was more like peace out and be on your way. Oh and they say on their website that texts are better than calls bc they are very busy and texts are better. I called twice while they were still doing the job but no answer. I texted twice but never got a response. When I arrived to pick up the rim and tire they acknowledged that they had seen my text from earlier in the day where I asked for an update and if they would be done by the pick up time but failed to respond with the fact that they couldn't find the tire I needed which would've been something I wanted to know and the whole reason I sent the text in the first place. Then I sent a final text after hours letting them know about the missing cap and other issue and that I would be coming by in the morning. No response and were surprised when I came in like I told them I would so they could expect me instead of me showing up unannounced. Now I'm driving around unsure of my safety bc if their actual service is as bad as their customer service then I shouldn't trust it. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!! If I can give this place 0 stars I would, here was my experience. I sent their page a DM for rim repair and ambient lighting for my interior, they quoted for me $1,000. In the DM message I asked if it would be done in one day they told me it would. I drove all the way from Queens so I prepped to just hang around Brooklyn all day rather than take a 2 hour train ride each way to come back and pickup once done. I dropped my car off and when I got there they told me they couldn't do the lighting that day, I told them no problem ill come back another time I just really wanted to get the rim fixed. When I left they told me they would text me once they were done. I spent the day in Manhattan and since they closed at 5:30, when I didn't get a text and it was 4PM I sent them a message but didn't get nothing back. I then went back to the shop and got there just before closing and when I asked about the status of my car they told me it wasnt done, it was on bricks across the street and they hadn't begun working on the rims. The complete opposite of what they told me! so I spent the whole day wasting time just waiting for my rims not to be done. I then asked when will it be done they told me about 4 days from now. I told them I needed my car for work so it took hem about an hour to give me spare tires they had until I came back. Nobody called me for a status update, I called them mid week to see if it was done and they told me it was so I went the following Saturday. While trying to remove their spares and put mine back on, they stripped one of my wheel locks and then looked at me like it was my fault. I was getting frustrated but just wanted to get out for a there so for the wheel lock they stripped, I had to drive to a local shop the stripped lock removed and paid for it myself. When I got back and went to finalize payment I asked if I would be getting a refund due to me paying half upfront - $500 and since I didn't want to do the lighting anymore then I should get a refund because only the rims cost about $400. They told me no the $1,000 was only because you had the bundle and since you only doing the rims you dont get a refund. I got into back and forth with the lady or man that I was talking to because their customer service and care was absolutely terrible. To top everything off, when I get home my one of my tires went flat, I filled it up and the next day I am on road and it goes flat again! Turns out they damaged my valve stem too!!! I cannot stress enough do not go here if you care about your car and be taken care of. It seems as if they only care about they people they have relationships with that come there and if your just a random customer they could care less. read more

Dropped my wheels off for their Halloween $400 special where they repair any cracks and bends and powder coat your wheels. Upon picking up my wheels I noticed one of the wheels was still cracked and I had to come all the way back to the shop to get it repaired. Was told it would take only 3 hours so I stayed in the area as I'm from Jersey and the tolls are expensive but they ended up taking a whole day to fix it. Finally installing the wheels now I have bad vibrations so it seems they didn't even balance it correctly. Out of all the money I wasted on tolls I didn't save any money like the sale intended. Decided to give NYC wheel pros a try and this is my honest opinion: the hype and following they have on social media is definitely for a good reason. I mainly came in for chrome delete & to fix a few other minor specs on the vehicle, but WOW... the work they did on my vehicle 10/10. Tito takes initiative to deal with his customers 1 on 1 and go over the details of the work you want done to be able to provide you a reasonable quote. At least what I found very reasonable for the work and QUALITY of work that was done. Next, I really don't understand the bad reviews on the customer service. The receiptionist, johana, was super friendly and attentive. She kept me updated with my car since it was a 2 day wait time. Nightmare! Don't fall for IG post nor the statements. I can effin believe I didn't do my due diligence. Myself to blame but yours if you make the same mistake. Went for a powder coat job and got the car with missing TPMS valves. After a week of texting I finally went over two pick up two sensors which were not even OEM and after market. Here is the shady part, how can NYC WHEEL PROFESSIONALS not have a machine to put tires on at the shop. Sent to a rim shop where even the owner/worker said they SUCK and always messes up. They took off the rim and to find out two bolts were broken off and one GLUED together. WOW! What the f@$k! They literally disregard safety. In short, stay far away. Pay the extra $100 or $200 for much better quality. So now I have to buy two factory TPMS monitors for $50 each ($100). $40 to install for two wheels. $100 for two broken bolts plus labor. Uber $30 roundtrip to mechanic and 5 hours wasted of my time. Total $270 of headache. Only positive was Joshlyn who was informative and great attitude. This is the worst shop I've ever dealt with.. I went based on on their IG pics, and because they offered a fast turn around, mistake. My task was simple, powder my wheels satin black and install my black trunk badges. The car in question is a Porsche Cayenne. As soon as I got on the highway home(1.5 hours away) I was getting a really bad shake over 60MPH. So I figured it was a bad balance and didn't want to complain about that, so took it to my local shop and they showed me what was up: *It looks like the wheels were powdered over the old finish, not completely stripped. There is lots of uneven paint and drips inside. *The center bore was powdered instead of masked off, so it's no longer hub centric anymore. The wheels got stuck to the hub. This also caused the center caps not to snap back in properly and fall out. *the back pad where the wheel sits on the hub looks to be sanded *the inside edges of all 4 wheels are completely chipped of paint and very thin *The emblems installed on the trunk are crooked and don't line up. They also didn't completely remove the residue from the old emblems, and even scratched the car around the emblem. $750 for this awful work. I texted and called multiple times until the owner Tito finally called me back. As you would imagine, he gave me attitude and said "you chose to have them done here; we don't really do any refunds; I don't know why they powdered the hub; we don't really paint the inside of the wheels". The person who was involved in this message being relayed that I would indeed get a refund was by the receptionist Ashley who also stated I would be getting my refund in front of other customers who were present. The owner Tito responded back after the fact when I asked for my refund again that they do not do refunds and I can use my deposit for another vehicle but given the insurance concern I cannot purchase a different Vehicle and they refuse to give me my money back. The gentleman who answers the phone when calling the number listed also stated I would get my money back but has yet to send me anything back or even get in communication. It turns out these idiots used a carjack to raise the car and damaged the dust shield behind the brake pad. I had to take the car back to the dealer, who was thankfully able to bend the dust shield back. When I confronted the owner about the issue, he pretended it wasn't his problem and behaved like a child. All in, it cost me more money to have the curb rash and dust shield repaired. If I can give this place negative stars I would. The name of this place shouldn't even have the word professionals in it! They are so rude, deceitful and only care about how much money they will make and not about the customer's satisfaction. They have done damaged to a brand new car. The staff and management is beyond horrendous. They made me believe them when they said they can do the work I was looking for. They also gave me a timeline of 2-3 days max but They ended up having my car for 6days, and still couldn't do the job right. I received my car with chipped paint on the door, damage to the side pieces, scratches throughout the entire car, my tailgate letters hanging off and done with spray paint, the glue gunk left all over my trunk, my roof rack missing screws and the rubber piece not put back on just thrown in my trunk. The back license plate bent. My caps missing on my tires, and the "paint correction" they claimed they did was not even done correctly where it left an orange peel look when you look into the car. The communication was absolutely terrible. They did not own up to any of their mistakes! And continued to lie to me when said oh the car was kept in the garage the whole time. When I came on two separate occasions to pick it up and even had family members go by the shop to see my car sitting across the street all botched up. They simply did not care enough to own up and admit they half assed everything and still overcharged me for amateur work. I am beyond frustrated and upset. Brand new car only got 5k miles on it. And they completely done a shit ass job. Now I have to go else where to get everything fixed and redone. Please do not take your car here. They are very unprofessional, disrespectful, lying inexperienced people!!!! If they want to keep their business running, they should learn the trade and learn how to make a customer happy not lie to them and damage their cars and then tell them there's nothing they can do about it except leave the car there for more days to try and fix everything!! After 5 hours, only one side had been done, my paint was scratched off my emblem, and they told me I would have to bring it in for a third day and leave for a minimum of 4 hours.
