People are actually friendly? What in the world...! Truly a pleasant surprise to be treated like a human at nine-something on a Sunday morning. The interior of the shop and the patio was updated and most importantly, clean which is pretty rare at car washes. The actual wash took some time, which is fine with me because most of the details were not ignored. They ACTUALLY cleaned the rims, and well. Multiple guys worked on my car, and they even smiled at me too. I was beginning to think I was in some parallel universe where people show kindness. Especially to a gal who's in gym clothes and tired, barefaced with touch of RBF. I opted for the gold wash, but the classic would have been just fine. Prices are typical of the area, which in 2025 isn't cheap anymore. With the CC fee, it was $40 for the wash, plus tip. They offer discounts for hospital workers and first responders if that's your jam. I'll be back, and perhaps will be able to match the jolly exuberance of the employees after I've had some coffee.

Classic Car Wash was one of those options and I opted to go here and pay the $2 surcharge for The Classic Car Wash. There are two lanes and there were a few cars ahead of me on a Tuesday around noon. The waiting area inside is very spacious and there are benches outside for you to wait as well. After handing my paper to the cashier and verifying my code through the mobile app, he gave me a white receipt. My car was done in about 20 minutes and the job wasn't very well done. There were a lot of streak marks on the car and on the windows. Though they gave me a 10% off next visit reward, I don't think I'll be using it.

It looks like the big brother of plastic wrap, but is sturdier and comes in different degrees of tint--customer's choice. We chose NEW YORK CITY WINDOW TINTING, which we found on Yelp, where they've earned many excellent reviews. (I'm finally adding mine!) Jerry Ciccio is the principle. He did an excellent job on all my windows. The cost was reasonable, he and his helper arrived as planned, and finished and cleaned up very well. You'll have to do some measuring in advance, send the dimensions to him, and then Jerry can give you an estimate. He'ss answer any of your questions and concerns, and is a very congenial guy. I had a crack that happened and spread Saturday afternoon and by Sunday it was fixed very well by Ian. He told me that due to the climate and moisture it wouldn't be a perfect job and that makes sense as it was snowing with cold temps. He was very responsive via phone and on a Sunday helped to schedule me in and have it taken care of. I had most places that would push me out a couple of days and maybe have me get a new windshield. The crack was bullseye crack a little smaller than a dime and spread about 8 inches. The quoted price was very fair and much less than the big shops.
