Toyota Highlander original front grill

Amazing experience. Staff (Miguel) was really nice and helpful. Communication was great since the beginning. Workshop looks great and very clean. I had the front grill of my car (Highlander 2019) wrapped with gloss black vinyl. They did the job within 2.5 hrs. They removed the whole bumper to be able to wrap the grill properly. Very fast and efficient. Very happy with the result. Fair price. I highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Communication was on point, whether reaching out through text or email you'll get a response right away. As far as pricing goes, best believe Illmatic isn't the cheapest on the block but unless you're trying to be that guy that tints fade to purple in a year, bubbles all over the place looking like your car got leprosy you get what you pay for. I was tired of awkwardly avoiding eye contact in my fishbowl of a car after I'd cut someone off and they'd pull up next to me at the red light so I went in to Illmatic to get a full tint job - 20% around and 35% on the windshield. Now when I cut someone off only to be caught at the next light, I can confidently look over at them, see the void in their eyes of not being able to get the satisfaction of staring me down and know that they'll lose sleep at night thinking of the win that never was. I've never owned a bmw but this is probably how they feel all the time. I get it now. Delusional confidence. If you've ever been in a car with subpar tints you'll know what I'm talking about. Illmatic deals with Xpel and it's definitely the way to go. As mentioned before we've all seen that dude who's rockin the purple faded cracked tints and said to ourselves "that ain't it." No judgements if you about them but lets be real now. Some tints will be dark from the inside out, driving at night is a game of I'm going to hope for the best. I was worried about that being an issue but the guys assured me this would be different. Best believe it, I drove at night and forgot I even had tints. Better yet, glare from streetlights and headlights is now nonexistent. We've all gotten into a car on a hot summer's day and immediately regretted it, that shower you just took 15 minutes ago is now invalid and you lookin like you fresh out a gatorade commercial. McSwampy. These Xpel tints deflect UV's so hard Harry Potter named his signature move Xpelliarmus after it. That being said, 10/10 would recommend.

They seem to run a good shop, which is probably why its filled with expensive cars every time I visited. I had got a few quotes for PPF and felt that the price here was quite reasonable. Only complaint was that the car took forever to get PPF'd. I did drop it there straight from buying it at the dealership, and they did mention that they'd only be able to start the following week. But it still took about 3 weeks after that to turn around, which was longer than the 2 weeks that I was initially quoted. I'm a bit surprised by that given other reviews are mentioning their cars were done quicker. In any case, I would rather they take their time and do a good job rather than rushing. I would bring my Cayman here to get PPF'd now, but I already have a bunch of chips. If I ever get another sports car I will likely bring it here.

House for a ceramic coating and honestly regret it…read more I live around the corner and constantly see high-end cars in and out of their shop, which gave me confidence in their work--but this particular job was clearly rushed and poorly executed. The work was sloppy. Areas like the rear diffuser and behind the license plate weren't even properly washed, which is unacceptable for a service that's supposed to include clay bar and paint correction. Corners were obviously cut. Basic detailing was ignored--the trunk wasn't opened or cleaned, and the inside of the rear window was left dirty. This is detailing 101. The workmanship feels careless and lacks pride. As someone who knows cars, I can confidently say this was a poor job. If you work hard for your money, don't spend it here.

I showed them a picture of the color I like and they designed it for me. The results are flawless no bubbles, seams are invisible, and the paint prep was perfect. The shop itself was clean and organized, which gave me confidence in their work. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier wrap or detailing service. My car looks like it just rolled out of a showroom! They also cleaned my car so nice that it looks like a just bought car. The price was amazing. They had a great deal.

Other shops had quoted me anywhere from 4000 to 7000 to fully wrap my Tesla Model Y. Cars & Coffee quoted me 2500 to wrap the full exterior of the car in 3M Glossy Black Vinyl Wrap as well as tint the front two windows with a darker tint than the stock. Alex was prompt with his replies over Yelp chat. The shop was in Astoria, somewhat of a congested area, but if you're in Queens anyway, it is a convenient location. At the time I was there, they were also working on renovating a nice waiting room with a large TV and a couch. I called beforehand to setup a time to come in and get a quote. Sean walked me through their shop, and advised how long the job would take. I was a little hesitant to go with this shop originally because of the low amount of reviews and they seemed "new" but after seeing the service being done in the shop, I put down a deposit and dropped the car off a week or so later. Within a few days, the car was ready for pickup. After letting the wrap settle for ~2 weeks, I was invited back to the shop to do a free check-up. Sean took care of a few touch ups with the wrap which needed to be performed as well as gave me a free t-shirt and a bottle of Turtle Wax to use on the wrap. One thing I learned during the whole experience was that those two weeks did make a difference as it allowed for some of the pressure markings on the wrap from when it was applied to settle and become less noticeable however it always good to keep some spare wrap on hand just in case. Overall, for the price of the service, I was happy with the outcome.

Sold the 3 a week after, wasn't worth the time to sue them in small claims court for damages and waste even more time & money fixing up the damages. Was beyond frustrated. Photos speak for themselves. Didn't even debadge the car properly and cut up around it and broke the 2 repeater cameras on my car and used silicon to glue it back in without telling me. Spent hours pouring gloo gone on my car to remove the silicon and paid 320 out of pocket to have them replaced and 180 to be rebadged...but hey at least they got to make some Instagram content with my car right? The car went in and came out horrible. Will probably never get a car wrapped ever again.

It's owned by one of the friendliest couples I've ever come across. They're passionate about cars and treat my car like it's their own. On several occasions, the car is ready later than anticipated. It's not because they're behind schedule. Rather, they are going the extra mile to ensure every part of my car is perfect. I have a matte paint job, and it's a lot of maintenance to keep up. Every time I bring it here, it looks like the day I drove it off the dealership. On two occasions, I've had paint from a car I (gently) swiped on the body of my car. Somehow, they managed to get it off without dulling the matte. Magic. I've had my car detailed several times, got a light ceramic treatment, and even got my windows tinted here. They do it all. It's taken YEARS to find a shop like this. I'm definitely a life time customer.
