By far my favorite car wash place. Everything is done pretty much by hand and would highly encourage hand-wash over machine-wash for new cars as it will significantly reduce the chance of scratches and swirls over time. Wow this place does an amazing detail! I have a dog that sheds a lot and they really have an amazing team. I paid $170 for the detail, tip generously the guys here work really hard. The detail took four hours so plan how you are leaving ahead of time, someone giving you a ride or taxi. I had no idea there was a car wash on that road, location is a little hidden but close to anyone in Hudson County area. Pros: great location, competitive prices Cons: it was really hard calling them. I could barely hear Jose on the other side. Not sure if it is their phones/service. Also customer service could be better, Jose was okay but I guess had a rough morning and was not the friendliest. We all have a rough day, just something to note. Tips: you need to clear out everything in your car so they can do the best detail. Came in on a Friday early afternoon and only a few cars were ahead of me. This place is kinda hard to spot but they had a big flag outside on the road when I got there. It's all hand done, from the getting car wet to soaping to drying. Pretty easy to maneuver your car though the wash as well as it's a straight line from going in to coming out. I just had the exterior done and the cleaning was done very well. Dede it my don't rush through the cleaning part as some other car washes do. I had bugs on my front bumper and almost all were gone. I didn't like that my mirrors were still dripping coming out and was getting all those splashes on my passenger doors while driving. I guess they gotta take more time with the air hose. This used to be the best car wash in the area until it was bought out. It was $14 and the car was cleaned for 30 min until it was spotless. I used to drive 10 miles just to use them. With the new ownership the prices more than doubled and the quality is horrible. Used them 3 times to make sure it's consistently bad. I was in the area and needed a car wash. If you come here come with no rush because its not quick but totally worth it. I was waiting for about 40 mins and there were only about 5 cars in front of me. You pretty much drive most of the way while they clean your tires and stuff and the nonce you get to the front you get out for them to fully clean all of your car. What I really loved was how much attention they pay to detail. My car was really dirty and it came out looking brand new, they even took out a stain I had in my window that I tried taking off myself and wasn't able to. I found the price super reasonable too $12 for regular size cars and $2 extra for tire shine. These guys wash your car FAST and do a great job. The car wash is a well-oiled machine. First, 3-4 guys hand wash and do the 'wet' clean of your car. Then, you drive forward a bit and a few other men dry the outside and vacuum the interior, doing the 'dry' clean of your car. Finally, you walk into a little side office to pay for the car wash. My car came out sparkly clean on the outside and free of crumbs on the floor mats inside (much needed!!). On the weekends the line can be 6 or 7 cars deep, but they move pretty quick! read more

These people work hard and i respect it. I got the exterior wash only for my Volvo XC60 and it cost only $19 dollars, a very reasonable price in my opinion. They cleaned the car thoroughly and the wash itself was pretty quick. The only downside to this place is sometimes there's a long wait (30 min+). Make sure you have time on your hands.... I've been to this location a few times now. The people are very nice and they take their time cleaning every part of you vehicle. I am stupid. Why haven't I ever been here before? I have been going down the street for my car washes and increasingly becoming annoyed at having to tell them to do inside windows and seeing dust/dirt on the dash. I decided to try A-1 out after a friend recommended to me and man, I am so glad I did. I came the first time on one of the first sunny days in March and waited in line but left due to a prior appointment. No wonder. These guys take their time on your car. This is a good thing and well worth the wait. Everything is hand wash ... no automation here .... literally a huge garage space and hoses. I keep a pretty clean car and even I could tell how well the dash and inside surfaces were cleaned. Vacuuming job was good and so were the inside windows (my dog likes to do nose art). The best part .... the price! Car wash is only $12 but on Ladies' Day (every Wednesday), they take $3 off. You can also have tire cleaning and spray wax for an additional cost. I brought my car for shampoo wash cleaning inside hopping that my 8 y.o. car will smell nice after this wash. How much disappointment was when I started driving the car after this "wash". All surfaces are sticky as they were washed by glue. The smell become so terrible that I started hating the car. I wander what kid of stuff they use. I'm disappointed that I wasn't blown away with the car wash I recieved for the price, $25, and based on the great reviews I previously read. $25 for a mid-size SUV for the interior and exterior is a bit overpriced in my opinion. I can appreciate a difference in price for car size, but they spent the exact same amount of time on my car as they did the sedan in front of me. I was expecting my car to be immaculate when I got in it, but unfortunately not the case. Definitely clean but my biggest complaints of car washes in general is it feels like they take a damp cloth and place it over some of the areas of the interior leaving spots of dust behind. I was excited hoping to finally find a car wash that I could be a regular at and they certainly did a good job, but a bit of a too pricey for me to then have to go over some surfaces myself to ease my OCD. read more

Wow this is absolutely the best hand car wash I've been to so far. Based on previous reviews, I think I got extremely lucky with 0 wait time. I pulled right up to the entrance and 2 guys immediately came to my car and began spraying and soaping it down- oh were they so thorough getting into each crevice in the wheel. After approx 8 minutes of soaping and washing, I was directed to the next area where the car was dried. 2 minutes later I got out and had a team of 4 guys vacuuming and wiping down all surfaces. They gave me no issue in power washing my all-weather mats for this post-winter clean and transition to carpet mats :) Call me weird but I loved the smell left behind, haven't smelled this awesome post-carwash smell in a long time. FURIOUS ... Took my car to get detailed on a Sunday morning. The owner Robert is super nice and dropped me back off at home. Was excited to pick up my car to see it nice and clean! This is where the furious part comes into play. They have at best what I would call a moron who takes your money in the office. He also helps out cleaning the cars. When I arrived I told him I was picking up my car that was detailed. Barely understood me or cared to understand. My car was off to the side and ready. So far so good! I look over the car and notice a couple of spots that needed to be given the once-over. No biggie! Then as I am looking further I notice one of the buttons on the driver's side door is cracked. When I mentioned it he laughed and said "how could we have done that". Well sir, I can assure you it wasn't like that this morning when I dropped the car off. Furious - Part 1 Move on to looking at the rest of the car...the controls on the dash had some sort of grime on them that he said wouldn't come off. I call it laziness. Annoyed now because the attitude I am getting from this guy. I call the owner and told him the issues. Took a pic and sent it to him. Mind you, the owner is GREAT. Hands down, super nice and very apologetic. Move to the back seat where it looks like their laziness kept going. Big dirt area on the back seat. Yet one more picture and another text to send the owner. Now for the icing on the cake...I go to pay (cash because if you pay by cc they charge tax). They didn't do my trunk area so there was a slight discount. When I went to pay, why was an agreed upon price from the owner, that moron I was telling you about counted my money and said this is not $$$. No sh!t Sherlock. I said you didn't do the trunk and this is what Robert said it would be. He jumped on the phone quicker than quick and quickly felt like the moron he is. Did you think I was trying to screw you out of money?! Seriously? Robert, the owner was and is more than happy to have them re-clean the back seat. I don't know how they got all these positive reviews/or is July 3 a bad day to get a car wash there. I have a toddler & a dog (who doesn't shed much), so I get my car seats shampooed once a month. This place is near my work; and based on all the great reviews, I decided to get my car washed there today. There was a 30min wait. By the time they got to me, they told me I had to schedule to get seats shampooed or for anything besides their packages 1&2. No biggie, let's get the exterior wash + interior vacuum. Exterior wash was decent. I don't have any complaints. But the interior vacuum was such a bad job, I couldn't tell the car was vacuumed at all! I ended up having to take the car to another place to get vacuumed & shampooed the car seats myself. This, honestly was the first bad car wash I've ever experienced.
