I purposely drive the 20 minutes to wash my own car . Yesterday I tapped my debit card to use in a car wash bay. The sign when entering says 8 dollar and change plus tax for self car wash ... sure not bad , I have an older car and I really only needed to spray down a dirty car mat , and vacuum my car out after ( which was off and no body was around to ask for assistance, 1030ish) so that never got done I used the spray nozzle and all that jazz , timer said under 5 minutes when I was done and I turned the dial to stop. Ok cool end of service ( that I did ) so I was expecting to be charged under 10 dollars like usual ...... 25 dollars charged on my card ..... charged me 25 dollars for under 5 minutes that I cleaned , didn't use anything special , wasn't able to vacuum after or ask anyone for a rag to wipe my car I quickly sprayed . If I wanted to pay 25 dollars , I would gladly drive through the actual car wash on property to get the full car wash . No phone number to reach out and fix ..no website . . Need at least one !! I've been going to this place for years , and this just put a sour taste in my mouth . read more

My 'updated' review is only for the self car wash section. MFT has been my favorite self car wash station for a few years, as you saw in my original review, but its maintenance started deteriorating. There are puddles at each section due to drainage issues, most importantly the selection dials (water soap wax brush rinse) are not working properly anymore. In a few bays, dials only work for nothing but water or brush. So, basically you are paying $7 for water, to wash car body, since no one would use the tire brush for the body. A few weeks ago, I ran into this issue and the manager invited me to other bay where 'most' of the selections worked, and he deposited some time for me. Then he promised to replace the not-working system soon. Yesterday, I had the exact same problem. To a frustrated customer, the staff was not helpful at all by saying 'no manager here today'. If the system does not work as advertised, pls close the bay until it is fixed. If none of the bays work, pls close the section of business until fixed. It is not a good business strategy to open the credit card reader while you provide nothing but water or brush while remaining selections are not working. read more

Now called Stop & Shine Express Car Wash. I go to the self wash bay not to save money but because I live in an apartment and I want to wash my car without the paint damage that comes from automated car washes. Also, I can skip the wax stage and apply ceramic coat spray myself. I came mid-day and it wasn't crowded. I picked a bay that was still wet with soap still on the foam brush to ensure I got a fully working bay. You pay by credit card $7 plus top ups by pushing the green button before your time runs out. The power washer and the foam brush both worked just fine. When I was done, there was a table with small micro-fiber towels you can use for free. They also had a separate area with vacuum machines. I was struggling to figure out the vacuum when an employee came by and said they keep it off until someone needs it. he immediately turned it on and it worked fine. I wish they sold accessories like RainX but there is a Walmart 1/2 a mile away where you can get all that stuff. read more

They have a number of plans to choose from that range from full service exterior to interior and waxing. Single wash is only $4! $20 for unlimited exterior washes, hard to beat that! Saw this place while searching for a car wash since Lil Blue was riddled with bird crap from just two days under a specific tree (which seems to be popular with birds). While MFT features several self service bays to wash, dry, and vacuum your own car - I opted for the full service. Understandably so, the interior portion of the service was unavailable due to COVID. I opted for the Silver Service which was exterior plus wheel cleaner and tire shine for $12 plus tax. Now when I drove up it was plain to see that Lil Blue was suffering from bird crap'itis. They sprayed something on her before sending her through saying if they didn't, the bird crap would not come off. After the wash Lil Blue was cleaner, but still had bird crap residue all over her hood and front end. NO offer was made to run her through again or apply any other solution to address the remaining bird poop residue. I had to drive around to the self serve wash bays, then go inside and purchase a spray that claimed to remove the bird poop residue. It did better but not 100 percent. This place gets one star for free vacuuming and another star for 24 hour self serve washing. Their full service side? ZERO stars. I won't be back. read more

Water for the self service bays was extremely hard, left hard mineral deposits all over my car that tripled the drying time.

Went in for a Volcano Car Wash one day and was offered Unlimited Volcano Wash for the price of The Basic club. Came in about 4 times now and got a volcano wash only for that first visit. -------------- Update: Owner replied with an explanation of why that was happening. Thank you for that. If only the information was clearer from the beginning, I wouldn't have taken the offer. But no worries. Pros: Very friendly and attentive staff. Large space. Cons: Instructions/information could be clearer Basic wash was okay. Would not recommend the basic monthly for the price. read more

Quite possibly the only real coin-operated carwash within spitting distance of Manhattan, and yes it's the real deal. $4 / 5 min if I remember correctly and all the various options work well. Was delighted to see a very good presoak option with an excellent foam coming out of the spray gun. Cleaned up my car from all the highway bug gunk without scratching my car. A+ read more

Tareq/owner, you know you're not addressing the complaint right? Do you understand where the issue lies? Sure you have a subscription plan that can be cancelled anytime, but you don't think it's a problem for customers when they are explicit about not wanting to be enrolled, and yet they are enrolled anyway? Why would a customer want to go through the hassle of looking through their cc statements and finding multiple charges after not wanting to be enrolled, then having to cancel with their CC company? You didn't apologize or mention any notion of correction to how you currently operate. And I think I'm doing a service of giving others a heads (also I'm not the only one among your reviewers mentioning this situation), so no need to keep accusing me of promoting my or other shops, bc no I'm not affiliated with this industry whatsoever. If I did run a car wash tho, I don't think I'd do what you're doing.. you're telling me/other customers, there's ZERO incentive on your employees to push for the plan as hard as they do on every visit?? How can you explain 3x times from 2 different people in our company having this issue, over a 2 yr period? The last two times, I have 6 charges to show (4 charges occurred within 4 days). This is a horrible car wash due to the owners who show no respect for women customers. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a business owner and their staff before. I went for a car wash and they were rude and condescending, even asking me to assist in cleaning the car even though I have a monthly pass and have been paying for several months now. The owner here is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered and treats women like they don't know anything. I would advise anyone to stay far away from this place and find a car wash business that actually treats it's customers with respect and kindness. read more
