Do not, I repeat do not bring your rims here to get mounted…read more First of all I brought my rims and own tires in to get mount and balanced. Simple task right? Well I brought the tires and rims and left them in the car bays like the front desk person told me to. I had to run errands so they told me about 1-2 hours. 2 hours pass and I call to check and see if my wheels were done and I was told that they couldn't find my tires? I explained that the tires are there in the car bay. So basically nothing was done in those two hours and no one called me. In the end my wheels were finally done and when I picked my wheels up there's gouges on the inside of the rims and was told that the machine they had had to grip the rims from the inside since they were too big. If this was going to cause damage then either explain the risks or don't do it. Damaged all four rims on the inside barrel but what can I do. I wasn't offered compensation for the damages. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT bring your wheels here.

I have an old car that my brother gifted me with - and I'm so very appreciative of him and Queenie,…read morethat's her name in honor of Queens, NY since I just moved to Boynton Beach a year ago. Queenie has been shaking a lot and stalling and overall I could feel something was wrong. Since I'm new to the area, I didn't know where to take her and not be taken advantage of. Two weeks ago I run into my neighbor/friend and tell her my concern over using my car for fear that I would be stranded somewhere I'm not familiar with. She told me about Don and his wife Cherida at Ace Auto Repair. She had nothing but praise for them and the service they provide at their repair shop. She further said they will not take advantage of you (being a lone woman taking in a car for repair). I contacted Don and he told me to bring in the car the very next day. I was greeted by his wife Cherida who was all too pleasant and knowledgeable. They took my car round to their shop in the back and in minutes were able to tell me what looked to be wrong, they even fix/changed the brake light that I didn't know was out - at no cost!!! She said she didn't want me to get a ticket before I brought the car in for further repair. Since they were super busy, she asked me to bring back the car the next day first thing so they could work on fixing the other problems. I took the car in at 8am and left it for them to do what needed to be done. Throughout the day I received a couple of calls from Cherida informing me of other issues Queenie had and she told me the course of action and price quote! I love the detailed attention and communication from Cherida. They promised they would have the car all fixed by the end of the day since I needed the car early the next day, and true to her word - Cherida called to tell me the car was ready and I could pick up Queenie before 5pm. The mechanic who worked on my car reminded me that there were other (electrical issues) problems with the car but nothing urgent where I couldn't drive it. First time I've driven Queenie and felt confident that I was safe and I wouldn't be stranded, that's worth everything! And their charge - wow!!!! So reasonable, they surely do not take you for a ride! I have my very own mechanic in Boynton Beach, WooHoo!!! I am taking her back and fixing the other problems still pending!!! I know this was a long post but I needed to express my experience and relief and happiness with Don, Cherida - their mechanics and Ace Auto Repair!!! Highly recommend this place!!!

It takes a lot to impress me, but Bryant at BSO automotive did so today! I took my mother to go get…read moreher car evaluated as her engine was shaking. Firestone told her that she needed five different engine mounts and it was going to cost about $1,500. I told her she needed to get a second opinion so we went to BSO automotive together. Immediately, we were greeted by a very friendly man named Bryant, who I believe is the owner. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. He had me get behind the wheel and rev the engine a few times as he watched the engine. He said that only two mounts were bad! And he explained why he knew that. We were very lucky as he was able to fit us in that morning, and a couple hours later, and more than half the price, my mom's car was good as new! Bryant knew what she was bringing the car in for, and what she was told at Firestone. He could have easily just come in a couple hundred dollars under that and taken her for a ride. His honesty and integrity meant a lot to me and to my mother. He even drove us to Lake Ave so we could walk around while he worked on the car, and offered to pick us up! Overall, I left there feeling very good. My mom's car was fixed, the mechanic was honest, and the day was saved! Thank you so much Bryant!

I discovered when I went to pick up my car that the shop stated the check engine light was still going on so to the lower flaps on the front grill that they couldn't correct from their end. Being that I received a business card from Milestone Motors a few months ago that specializes in BMW auto repairs, I decided to give them a go. I figured they would tell me it wasn't under warranty and give me a fair price for whatever the repair was going to be based on what I looked up online. I was right. They did an excellent job performing a diagnostics on my car, also letting me know on other areas that were going to need my attention in the near future for repairs. Keep in mind, you will have to pay for the full diagnostics check but you will know everything that will need to be addressed in the future. I also was able at no additional charge to have my CarPlay working on my car again thanks to their review. They provide complimentary Lyft ride share to your house or work, which is very nice. They also have loaner options through Enterprise for about $35 a day if you need a car while yours is in the shop. They are flexible if you need to split up payment by different cards, etc. Jennifer who advised me on my car was clear and direct with the steps. Provided a full review of the inspection results and options for either approving or declining repairs. I have my confirmed auto shop to use outside of BMW going forward that is close enough to my house and ensure I have a fair deal on repairs as they arise.

How to Lose $529--Fast…read more Don't be me. This shop knows how to capitalize on customers who tow in expecting reasonable, or at least competitive, repair pricing--especially for a non-European vehicle. Jenny at the front desk was super friendly and helpful (she earns them the second star). She got me in right away, but I wish she had mentioned the $229 diagnostic fee when I called. It's not unheard of, but it's about double the norm. Since I had already paid $150 to tow my Jeep SRT there, I felt stuck and agreed. A few hours later, the real shock: $1,920 to replace a stock fuel pump. When I questioned the price, discounts started flying--too little, too late. I expect fair pricing from the beginning, not after I push back. So I paid another $150 to tow it out. The icing on the cake? Their upsell system flagged over $4,500 in "recommended" maintenance, including $1,178 for an oil pan gasket (despite no leaks or signs of wear) and $90 for a cabin filter. That just didn't sit right. Do better.
