When I got the car back, it shifted good, but would jump erratically to the left or right when braking or hitting a bump. I jacked up the front driver's side wheel and could easily wiggle it. I thought it was the wheel bearing but then noticed the tie rod end was the culprit. Fixed that. I checked the passenger side and it was tight....but then noticed the nut on top of the sway bar link was missing. The whole sway bar link bumpers were almost gone. Replaced that. Went bac to the driver's side to adjust the toe in....and noticed the nut on top of that sway bar link missing too. They gave me back a car that was totally unsafe to drive.

I was referred to Gary and he was able to diagnose it for free and able to fix it with a part for under $100. My next problem occurred with my brakes making noise. It was a Sunday so I brought it into tirechoice in boynton. I was told that there was calibers on my brakes and that I would have to replace them and my brake pads. I was quoted for $611. ( little history my brakes were replaced a little under a year ago and practically brand new). So of course Monday morning I bring it to Gary and he shows me the brake that was making noise as one of the parts were bent and nothing had to be replaced nor fixed it was as simple as just bending it back in place. And of course Gary did not charge for his time. I trust him over anyone with my car and would recommend him to anyone with car issues. He is reliable, kind, and 110% trustworthy. Older Ford Ranger/high mileage pickup truck was dripping oil from the oil pan and possibly from the…read moremotor. I took it to Arnst Ocean Auto, Matt looked it over and added UV dye to check for possible other leaks in the engine after cleaning off the oil. He suggested since the trans. had to come out to remove the oil pan-(Ford), that I have the slave cylinder replaced since it's w/in the trans bell housing.... Matt made a good call as it was really worn which could have been bad had it failed. I made appointment for the work to be done. Matt took care to cover the seats with a blanket and a paper mat was placed on the floor even though I don't have carpeting, but my interior is clean. The mechanic, Lou checked for any other leaks, thankfully none found. Lou did a fantastic job. This was no easy job since many parts had to be removed just to get the trans and oil pan out. When done, he test drove it and rechecked for any leaks and re checked all new fluid levels. Lou was able to get this job done in one day! I was very Impressed! I was happy to take my truck home the same day. It even shifts smoother now. I can't say enough about Matt & Lou at Arnst Automotive in Delray Beach, I'm a fussy owner & was very happy with their work. Thanks guys!

I came in to Delray Transmission and Total Car Care at 5:45pm today to see what they thought. I was not sure they would even bother because it was so close to closing time for them- but they greeted me with a smile and immediately we're looking to assist me and diagnose the issues I was having with my vehicle. The lobby was nice and cool, and you can help yourself to cold water from the dispenser. The mechanic, Richard, who might I add was such an honest man and very helpful, he test drove the car with me and saw the issue I just mentioned in the review. Richard opened the hood of my car and within 5 minutes he knew what the problem was. I needed to replace one of the coils in the engine. Shahed, the owner of the shop, gave me a very reasonable and affordable price for a new coil which he had to order and it was delivered within 10 minutes. I was out the door by 6:15pm even though the business hours are until 6pm. They were so kind and the best part is my car is driving better than ever. I'm so glad I found this place! Sonny seemed to be the owner and he had two or three workmen who seemed serious and focused workers. The car was inspected and then his wife Marie (I assume she was his wife) came around from the window in the office/waiting room and went over each item with cost. The bottom line was quite reasonable and the job they did was 'night and day,' that is, a very good job. I'm glad I found this business. I definitely sensed competence and honesty.
