I don't know: be wary. I was cautious when my tow truck owner offered me a break if he towed my car there. Then I was charged $1,436 to replace my 2015 Jeep Compass battery and alternator. When I mentioned that sounded high, the repairer said my alternator was "unusually expensive" at about $800. Yet the alternator is available at AutoZone for $300-$400. I had too much to do so I agreed to the price. To their credit the repair was completed the next day. read more

Terrible experience from beginning to start. Quoted me two parts and ended up being 5 parts with no notice or heads up until it was time for payment. Complete lack of communication the entire time. We had to call multiple times over a period of two weeks to find out what was happening with the car and what was causing the delay (no mention of it being more than the original two parts quoted). My car is worse now than it went in. I brought my car back to see if they would honor their guarantee and they refuse to solve the issue. Literally go to any other mechanic in the area!!! read more

I have a 2008 Hummer H3 with low miles and well maintained. I am a retired mechanic, mostly muscle cars and 60's/70's and had my share of auto shops and oil change commercial franchise shops...Jiffy for one, "Caveat emptor"! I was experiencing rapid oil lost, which I never had before and today, without an appointment, Greg, the front desk man, took me in immediately and had one of his mechanics put the Hummer on a lift and found the oil leak! I had nightmare's thinking about all the things it could be...being a retired mechanic. Well within minutes they found the leak and repaired the drain plug from the oil pan and fitted it with a new gasket and secured it! Greg then informed me that there was "No charge" and said see you on your next oil change....WOW I'm impressed with the honestly and immediate attention Greg and his mechanic's gave me and ended my nightmare!!! Terrible auto repair shop that charges INSANELY high, dealership level pricing. Took my vehicle in for gas tank repair. They confirmed what i had suspected -my tank had a small leak. I asked if i could use an after market tank (new purchased at a reputable online parts store) and they said no. Ok fine. I asked for a quote and they wanted to charge me TRIPLE the going price for the gas tank - over $1,000 !!!!! Billy Dixon was the manager and was very curt and matter of fact - stating he only orders OEM parts from the dealer. Wrong. This gas tank could've been purchased anywhere online, including Autozone ! I also could've ordered one directly from the dealership myself at a FRACTION of what they were charging. I am positive, just like the rest of the NEGATIVE reviews these people will just say "we have no record of you being a customer". Do yourself a favor and AVOID !! read more

How many auto repair shops you know with a safe drop off box for your car keys so you can leave your vehicle on day one and have it ready on day two ?Chris and his staff (including his own son!) are efficient, knowledgeable and honest. They use OEM parts when needed and would not try to upsell you aftermarket parts, to lower the cost of repairs, because they now that cheap fixes cost a lot of money. My truck had a problem. It was old, a 2003 Ram 1500. The entire dashboard had to be removed to fix the heater box, actuators and actuator doors to redirect hot air to where it should be. The first estimate quoted dealer prices. Being as all parts come from anywhere but the USA , I requested they seek a less expensive supplier. They did. Thankyou. $2539.00 and three weeks later I collected my truck. The heater worked fine, however the Bluetooth microphone had not been reconnected to the radio. 1 day later this was fixed. Today is the first day I have use of my truck. The dashboard parts started falling off, as clips has been broken off and it was held in place by silicon sealer, BUT the heater worked.... The battery went dead overnight too, BUT the heater worked. Never again. You make your choices, but when bits of plastic are falling off under the dash, onto the carpet, when I slam the driver's door, I am not happy. The owner did not like my language when I went to collect the truck and saw that they had not taken care with old parts. Today I discovered they fixed parts in place with silicon sealer. If they had simply called and said, "we cannot/will not do this it's too old" PRIOR to starting the clock ticking, I could have accepted that. But the $ won above customer satisfaction Oh they did remove $30 "shop supplies" from the invoice at my request, when I pointed out a large crack in the dashboard, but don't get too excited, when I removed it today,, it was gooped in place with clear silicon sealer. They likely did not need rags and "stuff" either, but;"everybody gets charged" I was told. It's the cost of doing business!!!! It is best they stick with their friend's nice classic cars and the lifted trucks that impress teenagers that adorn the parking lot. As a mechanical service, they appear to have peaked at the level of their own incompetence. It cost me $2509.00 to discover this. Take my experience and do what you will. I'm not one for writing reviews of any business however I felt I needed to. I took my 05 heavily modified mustang to Chris at master tech's with a odd problem, after a lot of work and head scratching he was able to find the problem and fix it. When it came time to pay the bill,I thought is was a more than a fair price, no way was I charge for all his time and effort. Also my car came into the shop with out a scratch or ding on it and came back the same way believe me I looked. Bottom line is I'm 60 years old and I have not seen old school service and care like this in a long time read more

I drove in telling the manager that my 2015 Accord was pulling to the right from a dead stop, and that it was pulling to the right when I braked. He said the alignment would be $79.99. After charging me $96.00, I drove the car. It still pulled to the right in both instances. The manager drove the car and saw this occur. I called the next day and someone else told me that that 4-wheel drive cars will always pull to the LEFT. I told him it wasn't pulling to the left. Only been here once with a leak in my tire, repaired the tire with a patch in 10-20 mins. Didn't even charge for the service. I can't recall the person's name but definitely would return here! The shop is tucked away off of Okeechobee Boulevard, but an amazing find! I can't believe what an amazing experience I had having my vehicle repaired!! something weird happened with my Hummer where the shifter cable broke. Used to be my "go to" shop for honest reliable work, but that was years ago. I stopped because Chris hired a new manager and was hands off- became the typical hack overpriced shop but then I found out Chris got rid of that manager. So we returned with plans to have all three of our cars serviced here. But that won't happen, after just the first two experiences- there is no longer trust with the new staff to act honestly. My most recent service was a set of Michelin tires for my Ford Edge, from the time I drove it off the tires vibrated (unbalanced) and returned immediately to have Chris do a ride along. He confirmed there was an issue and noted they would have the balance machine checked and would call when ready- NO CALL. Then I returned and am advised the machine was in but not set up, will call when ready- NO CALL. When I returned the next time they attempted to rebalance the tires but the problem still exists so I was informed they would get an entirely new balance machine (are you thinking what I am thinking- like sure?). Anyway- was told I would get a call- NO CALL. Wheh I returned a couple weeks later I was lied to by new manager who said he left a message- yeah right!. Then I am told "by Chris" he would contact his supplier/manufacturer and let me know what they say. No CALL- I return and Chris is dumbfounded and who are you? OH YEAH I FORGOT. Long story very long 4 months now I am taking all three of my cars to a new shop. I highly recommend you steer clear of this place- once great- now a bunch of hack crooks (charged me 90 bucks to diagnose a bad timing belt), and I thought I was a valued customer. read more

I own a car dealership in Kansas City. I buy cars from all over the US. We were loading the cars we purchased in Palm Beach and had one that had issues we were unaware of. It seemed as if the transmission wasn't working, and an issue like that means the car doesn't go back with us, and will be resold wholesale where it was bought. To be sure, I took it to Master Techs to get a diagnosis. They found that the car had been tampered with at auction and just needed to have a sensor plugged back in, a very small fix. They had the car fixed and ready within hours. After dealing with mechanics all over the country, I can attest these guys are honest and know their stuff, and in this business that is something rare and special. Chris and the mechanics at Master Techs are absolutely superior to any automotive repair shop I have been to. They are very honest and will tell you if your vehicle is even worth the repair or maintenance needed. Just recently I was having an issue with the oil light going on shortly after I would get an oil change. I spoke with Chris about my concerns when I scheduled some routine maintenance on the car. He indicated before he did the maintenance he should evaluate that issue because it could be minor or major. I'm happy to report it was a minor issue so he was able to proceed with the repair and preventative maintenance. I will never go anywhere else!!! the first time I used their service my car broke down on a Sunday they not only took me in without an appointment but fixed my car the same day so I wasn't without a car. They even drove me home and picked me up so I wouldn't have to wait at the shop. The second time my brakes failed and again they took me right away and again drove me home. Had been a customer for about 3 years until my visit last week. Went in for a simple oil change tire repair brake check and battery install. They put in the wrong battery left the broken holder battery holder under the hood with battery acid on it. I had told them there was some battery acid damage and they said it was like that when they got the car. Well even if it was like that you do not place the battery in the car without securing it or at least telling me that it was not secured. The car should not have left the shop, the tech said he only does what he is told which is an excuse for poor service. I had to jury rig a way to secure the battery and in doing so cut my hands. Since the battery is the wrong type I had no other option. They should forget about repairing the scrap metal Mustang in there yard if they cannot replace a battery. I am going to have my car serviced by a competent tech in the future. I wonder if they checked my front brakes as I asked or even changed the oil. I may dispute the 20.00 battery installation fee with my credit card company. read more
