I brought my 1988 F-Super Duty for a front end alignment, I was told everything was fine with the front end. I mentioned the right outer tie rod end being loose and I was told it has play but was good. I told him I have a death wobble and he told me to replace intermediate steering shaft. I did replace it. Still has death wobble. I checked front end and the tie rod end is sloppy and king pins are bad. Also my steering stabilizer was totally gone, bushings and all. &170.00 rip off. read more

Came back in one month because I had my free alignment in tires shop which showed that the left tire is out of alignment which had sense because old left tire was screwed up. Guys gave me keys back in 5 min and said everything is fine they even didn't check it and couldn't give me any paperwork I wish I read reviews before. WEBER IS THE BEST!!!! I wished I had known about Weber before going to Cesar's Auto Repair in Lake Worth on 10th Ave. Cesars charged me $80 for an alignment that was never done, car still pulled to the right. I was told that all 4 shocks needed replace and gave me an estimate of $850. After driving the car on i95 it kept pulling to the right, nothing had been done by Cesars, I was ripped off. I had 3 other professionals tell me that my shocks were fine. Weber came highly recommended so I took my car in, they check my shocks and they also said they were fine and who ever did the alignment which was just over 2 weeks, did a terrible job. When I asked for an ESTIMATE ! I was told they had to look at the car 1st and possible prices and how they would let me know before anything , not that they were going to start work on it right away. I mean I was surprised when I was told my car was ready. That's why I asked how much because I had a certain amount of money and not I was flabbergasted when I had to pay almost $200 but I worked it out because I needed my car but I would have liked to know exactly how much before they did any work. False advertising! I received a flyer in the mail stating Weber would match tirerack.com prices on any BF Goodrich or Michelin tires. I called for a quote on BF Goodrich tires. The quote was $20 more per tire than tirerack.com. I was told, "I pay more than that for the tire so no I can not match that price." I referred to the mailer I received and then was told, "The owner makes the flyers and I don't know why he would say that we would match that price, and I checked with our manager and he says no too." Then she told me to order the tires myself and they would install. However, then shipping fees will be incurred. I'm disappointed they would send out a mailer and not honor it! I recently had all my brakes replaced including rotors and pads at Weber. I live near the ocean and have had chronic problems with them. I noticed some problems and made a call about it. They promptly scheduled a appointment for me this morning. The salt and water had corroded the rear rotors and pads. They apologized and quickly replaced them with no charge! Wow! My car was pulling to the right so it was time for an alignment. Did the Yelp quote thing & though Weber was not the cheapest I went with them for their reputation. Manager Mr. Weaver was courteous & professional with my questions. Shop took my car ahead of the scheduled time which was a bonus. I noticed the technician did several road tests to ensure my front end was as straight as could be. When I drove my car off the lot I could feel the immediate difference in my steering. I actually never had my car worked on by them but they were honest with me after they discovered that my transmission mount was bad. It would have ultimately affected the quality of their work as the bad mount needed to be replaced first. I didn't return there because I also replaced my suspension struts and chose to have the wheels balanced and aligned to OEM factory specs, instead of using the after-market lowering springs that I'd installed on my car. I went in for a front and rear alignment. I also had them put new front and rear brakes on the car. My husband and I were pleased with their service, pricing and professionalism. I'm floored. I have a restored 1987 samurai that I have had to multiple places and spent money on wheel balancing and 4 wheel alignment and it still shook violently when it got to 40mph. I got referred to Weber and I arrived for my appointment, they got my car in right away. They said it wasn't an alignment issue but they found my steering box was loose. Went to get an alignment, but the parts that had to be adjusted were seriously rusted in place necessitating replacement. I went inside and got a fair quote and arranged to return the following week to get the work done. When I returned, the owner/manager? (David) looked at my truck and said that the job was a tough one. They started the job and I wandered off knowing that the job would take several hours. I was waiting for the inevitable phone call that always seems to come when work is being done, and sure enough it came. David told me that they were having problems removing the old parts, but that they would keep trying. The alternative was to order new lower control arms which would double the quoted price. At this point I was a captive- the front suspension was in pieces and the truck could not be moved. I told him to do what he had to do to get the job done. I returned to the shop a couple hours later and the truck was done. David had bought a tool to try to remove the stuck pieces and was successful. He showed me the parts and it was plain to see why they were such a problem. Time to pay the bill. He said they had under bid the job in the first place even without the extra work. David then honored the quoted price even though the job had taken twice as long as it should have. That small act has made me a loyal customer. I added a tip to the bill that David said I did not need to do. I actually wished I had more in my pocket to compensate for the additional labor and price saved by not having to buy the control arms. Had Weber Wheel Alignment adjust toe on front wheels. Days after discovered tie rod rubber boot on steering rack was all twisted up. Mechanic did not straighten boot out after adjusting tie rod.
