Let me start by saying I would not let Fredi or Dennis touch my truck with a 50 foot pole. It has been a total horror story dealing with the dishonest business practices of Duro trans. They are totally inexperienced in new trucks. He claims they've done 5 19+ cummins which is untrue. Ever since Fredi and Dennis built the transmission on my 20 ram 3500 the truck has never ever been the same. Nonstop it has been in his shop. This is a 100k truck that since they touched has been inoperable NEARLY THE ENTIRE TIME. THE STOCK TRANSMISSION LASTED LONGER THAN THERE "1000hp rated" It has been in there shop more than it has been out since it originally got built. They always come up with more and more excuses. They lied saying there is no valve body in the truck when I confirmed there is. Why would they build it then? There were times after they "rebuilt" it where the truck wouldn't even shift when I left. They had TEENAGERS that work near the shop texting me threatening to p*ss in the truck, damage it , etc. Every time it would make noises when shifting, etc. Even from the first they rebuilt fluid leaked. The transmission LEAKED since I brought it there. They have no idea how to build a transmission in this new of a truck but they couldn't turn down the business which caused them to build a transmission they've never done nor have any idea what they are doing. The laziness at this shop it is mind boggling. Leaving the trans dirty after rebuilds, not cleaning parts out, hooking trans fluid lines up incorrectly, and the worst of all they were to lazy to change the melted dipstick tube. The warranty is worthless if the truck is still broken after they rebuilt it every time. I'm assuming now they've shorted something out with the ats copilot causing an entire different set of electrical problems. The shop denies but was fine before it was brought there. Nearly $13,000 this shop stole and made a brand new cummins inoperable. This is a mug shot of the owner for robbery it just shows how unethical they are.

The vehicle is now running perfectly and Dennis even took 15 minutes of his Time to school me on exactly what was causing the problem .

I called and spoke with Sonny and felt good vibes from him, soft-spoken and down-to-earth. I brought the car in the next day. Sonny seemed to be the owner and he had two or three workmen who seemed serious and focused workers. The car was inspected and then his wife Marie (I assume she was his wife) came around from the window in the office/waiting room and went over each item with cost. The bottom line was quite reasonable and the job they did was 'night and day,' that is, a very good job. I'm glad I found this business. I definitely sensed competence and honesty.

Went back, they had admitted they had change the oil and filter, returned back $80 dollars and apologized. Later the same night I noticed trans oil on the ground and on trans pan wiped it up, thinking it was from when they took the pan off. Had to go back home to Texas the next day (was in Florida for work). About a week and half later the gasket starts leaking drops of trans oil. Ended up changing the gasket my self and the oil again. The gasket was not installed correctly. Honest about their mistake, but the gasket shouldn't have been leaking that soon. Yes I'm sure I could've gone back and they mostly likely would've fixed it. But it should've been done right the first time.

I took it to Arnst Ocean Auto, Matt looked it over and added UV dye to check for possible other leaks in the engine after cleaning off the oil. He suggested since the trans. had to come out to remove the oil pan-(Ford), that I have the slave cylinder replaced since it's w/in the trans bell housing.... Matt made a good call as it was really worn which could have been bad had it failed. I made appointment for the work to be done. Matt took care to cover the seats with a blanket and a paper mat was placed on the floor even though I don't have carpeting, but my interior is clean. The mechanic, Lou checked for any other leaks, thankfully none found. Lou did a fantastic job. This was no easy job since many parts had to be removed just to get the trans and oil pan out. When done, he test drove it and rechecked for any leaks and re checked all new fluid levels. Lou was able to get this job done in one day! I was very Impressed! I was happy to take my truck home the same day. It even shifts smoother now. I can't say enough about Matt & Lou at Arnst Automotive in Delray Beach, I'm a fussy owner & was very happy with their work. Thanks guys!

Clearly they haven't done their jobs correctly or they would've disconnected the battery before the inspection on my car. They had no answers for me as to how the fire started or what caused it. They took three and a half weeks to find the parts that had been melted off from the fire. The owner refused to contact his insurance to file a claim. Shop owner, Paul, told me the total price would be "negotiable" after they caught my car on fire and kept it in their shop for almost a month. When I arrived to pick up my car, the negotiation clearly was bullshit due to the fact that they still charged me $1000. Extremely unprofessional shop and would NOT recommend to anyone unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars to have them catch your car on fire in their possession. I should've hired a lawyer.
