Both were handmade and the colors were gorgeous. I'm not extremely knowledgeable about oriental rugs, but they're really nice! Soft too. They delivered them to my house no problem. I almost wish I had more floorspace to get more. Would definitely buy again if I'm back in town since I don't have stores like this one around me.

I purchased a down alternative duvet insert from Peacock Alley about two months ago. I reached out…read moreabout a week ago to notify them that the duvet insert was shedding, leaving the filling in the form of white fluff balls all over my bedding. I was connected with the corporate office and spoke with Laura who apologized for the inconvenience and connected me with the manager of the Atlanta store, Frederick. He first told me that I could send my duvet insert to the manufacturer for review and receive a replacement. As I had already bought a replacement from another company I said that would not be necessary and asked if store credit could be provided. To be completely transparent I had attempted a return immediately after purchasing as I was dissatisfied with the overall quality of the insert (no defects at this point,) and store credit was offered. However, I missed the email so no action was taken. My latest correspondence with Frederick said that there can be no resolution to this issue - no refund, store credit, or replacement as he feels I'm trying to take advantage of the company return policy. This was not the case, I was simply trying to find an appropriate solution to resolve the issue. I tried numerous times to get in touch with both the corporate office & Atlanta store over the phone to expedite the issue but I could not connect with anyone. I believe that the entire issue was misconstrued due to improper communications channels. I've purchased other products from Peacock Alley on other websites (The Favorite Blanket from Rue LaLa) and was extremely satisfied so I know that these products can be of very high quality. I just had a particularly negative experience with this specific product. More than anything, I am extremely disheartened and frustrated by the response I've received from both the corporate and local Peacock Alley teams. I am not being unreasonable in desiring store credit vs. a replacement and have now been made out to be the party who has wronged vs. the other way around. Needless to say, I have never in my life had such a negative experience with customer service. I'd expect more from a luxury brand. Despite the high-quality products I've received in the past I will not be giving Peacock Alley any more of my business. Just beware if you have any issues with your products that it may not be properly resolved.

It felt less like a variation and more like a completely different product. When I contacted the company to arrange not a return but an exchange, they refused--despite the significant mismatch between what was marketed and what was delivered. I understand that handmade or artistic items can have natural variations. This was not that. This was a fundamental disconnect between representation and reality. If you're considering ordering, proceed with caution. Be aware that what you receive may not resemble what you see online, and you may have no recourse if you're disappointed. Art should spark joy, not buyer's remorse.
