I walked into your establishment at approximately 1315 today (August 10th). Not only did your associate barely look up from the computer to say "hello" but she continued on typing without making any gesture to provide customer service. I was the only soul in your store at the time. I proceeded to walk around with no interaction with your staff. As I headed for the door, I saw another associate come from the back and sit down on a couch near the exit and use her phone to check inventory. As I approached the door, she [just like the other associate] barely looked at me as she said, "have a good day." I say all of that to say... you lost a customer today. I was there to pick out something for my new home. I had purposeful returned because the store was closed on my last trip to the area. I refuse to shop in a space that doesn't value me enough to at least inquire about my needs. There are far too many furniture stores in Atlanta [not to mention online] to reward negligible customer service. Please offer additional service training to your team or talk them about profiling the customers who visit your store. read more

I ordered a three-seater and a lounge chair in September of 2021. As of October 2022 I still have not received the items. Every month I get an email saying the shipment is delayed until the next month. It would be one thing if they delayed the shipment once (or even twice) but actually hit their revised dates. I can only conclude they have no idea when the item will ship and keep telling me it will be the next month over and over. I cannot recommend this company. Looking at the reviews alongside this form for your company, 6 of the last 7 are very negative. Instead of attacking the reviewers, you might try to thicken up you skin a little bit and realize you run a business, the feedback is not intended to be personal, take the feedback and improve. Consider it a positive because people are helping give you a roadmap on how to do even better. I will add two more stars to this review for you looking into the complaint again and fessing up to some snags and delays in communication and delivery that you didn't acknowledge the first time. I don't think it was necessary for you to add snide comments like, "as for throwing away your old cushions before the new ones arrive, you have to own it." Also, you're basically admitting that we cannot rely upon your promised delivery dates even if we give it a window of a few extra days. I didn't plan on that. Anyway, I am not sure why you keep claiming I "had a great experience." (?) I will say I am happy with the product and, as I mentioned, was able to stretch/fix the slightly crooked stripes. But use the information to try to make your business even better rather than be defensive and bitter. Provide as good or better customer service as you do products. Whoever handles these reviews may need a little bit of customer service training. Read how other successful businesses handle their reviews. when we ordered our outdoor set in October 2020 we knew that there would be delays getting the material. We finally got our order in April 2021. They were great about letting us know of delays, and when we might be able to get our furniture. Oh fast forward to March of this year and we noticed one of the legs on our sectional had cracked. I called and filed a claim only to be told in an email that it was because I moved the furniture. I never moved the furniture. Fast forward today I stopped in the store because I washed one of the cushion covers and it ripped in the bottom disintegrated I was never told that the cushion covers could not go in the washing machine. I was also told that there was something on a cushion, that told me that these covers could not be cleaned, after further inspection there is nothing on those covers. My recommendation is they do want to sell the furniture and merchandise in the store but they do not want to handle a claim when something goes wrong. read more

Was advised that grill cart would be replaced... is now the end of September and our $6000 grill sits on our deck without the cart. Store is unresponsive, will not return calls!! I am located in Northern California and was looking for a Treasure Garden umbrella canopy distributor. I came upon Authenteak and inadvertently ordered the wrong size and color replacement canopy. What follows is a sequence of incredible Customer- Manager interactions that have made me an Authenteak customer for life. * First, they take back the umbrella regardless of not having notes in their system to support a custom product return; just my word. * Second, They walk me through and confirm the right replacement size with words and pictures. * Thirdly, they cut the price of the replacement with a "good guy" discount that I hardly deserved. * Fourthly, they expedite the order of the replacement canopy * Fifthly, they give me yet another cost reduction on the restocking fee on the refund of my original purchase And all of these actions are gift wrapped by the most courteous, thoughtful, responsive and articulate communication that a business leader can have with their customer. That business leader is the Operations Manager, Shantal Melville. An excerpt of one of her communications follows that underscores her "over the top" efforts to assist me as a 70+ old person to get it right after I failed on a couple of attempts measuring the right way and having to scale a ladder. "Hi Gary, I'm happy to look into this for you and I'm sorry about all the hassle. Do you happen to know what type of frame you have? If not, can you please send me a side view image of your umbrella? Please also confirm the shape of the canopy- is it an octagon, square, or rectangle? Finally, the most accurate way to determine the canopy size is to measure the rib from the hub to the end of the rib (see red line below). And no ladder needed for this! Their brands are top-notch (we went with Barlow Tyrie and Gloster) and the showroom has a great selection to browse. We found the salespeople to be very helpful. And when I've emailed them a few times, I've gotten outstanding service, including a personal note from Eric (one of the co-founders) to make sure I was taken care of - nice touch!! I purchased my husband's gift online which was $176 (or something like that). Which he loves! However, they had trouble entering my card information so processed it 6 times from my account. It placed over $1000 on hold from my checking account for 3 days. They acted like "we are sorry, it's just a hold." That's a lot of money to place on hold for an $176 item. I just wasn't impressed with the customer service about this. I won't purchase anything else from them because of it. I will get my belongings else where. read more
