First store in Atlanta. Great selection and so better to see in person Vs online. Huge parking lot and such a big queue of cars to get inside but well managed/routed traffic by IKEA security guards. There is no inventory in the store to pickup but they have free delivery arrangement so you can physically see and feel before ordering. Excellent prices with good quality modern home furniture and huge variety with tons of household items. Customer service is in the store for any returns. Clean and well maintained bathrooms. Cafeteria was an added bonus. Chipotle chicken melt, sausage, egg and cheese bagel and coffee - super good. read more

My 2nd time visiting the store. It's a clean layout, great flow, and visually appealing, but not the entire Wayfair inventory. Today I went in to look at a couple of beds we saw online. They didn't have those specific beds in, but our service rep, Sa'Nai H. was so very helpful and had a great attitude. She showed us beds with comparable dimensions and mattresses to assist us with the purchase. She also helped to clarify questions regarding dresser sizes. We were ready to purchase, but unfortunately, we couldn't schedule a specific delivery date. The items would come SOONER than we needed it (we are doing work around our home). However, we were able to get a saved quote so we could purchase the item online over the next few days when the delivery date. Needless to say, I will be purchasing the items online and wish Sa'Nai could get the credit.... One star was deducted because I would have liked to select the delivery date. read more

Wayfair has been great to deal with, I've ordered beds, cabinet and linens from them. Only thing is the shipping expensive if you're not happy with something to return it. Still, I think you get good quality merchandise for a reasonable price read more

Arrived right at opening on a Sunday morning. Parking was a breeze in the connected deck (purple- can't miss it & pretty tell celing for taller SUV's. Drive safe! Cafe was WAY smaller than expected & the food didn't srike us as what we wanted, so we passed. Went straight to looking around. A very open store, clean & bright. Expensive! A lot to choose from; lamps, tables, seating options, beds, candles, outdoor options, kitchen items- lots of great things!! Maybe go with a specific plan of what you need & style you are looking for to stay on track. This isn't anything like IKEA, so don't go thinking that. But go & explore. Oh, heads up. Showed up for the grand opening. Was so excited to visit in person. Is a very large venue broken up into departments. Very well laid out. Prices were average, nothing great unless you really want it. I did end up buying Lennox serving bowl with plates for my daughter. She loves butterflies. It's opening weekend and leave it up to my Bestfriend to have me in Wayfair. After years of shopping on the app, Wayfair has finally hit Atlanta with a brick and mortar location in the Howell Mill Shopping Center where the Walmart once was. As you can imagine, the parking is still horrible and today it was times 30 as everyone was there for opening weekend. I have no idea why everybody needed to shop this weekend, but they did. . Walking into Wayfair, the store is breathtaking. Bright. Vibrant. Clean. Spacious. Eye-catching decor and an abundance of glass, beauty, and gadgets. It is truly the app in real life. We were on a mission for 50x120 curtains, however, as you can imagine... my eyes were open to being influenced into making other purchases. LoL!!! I walked the floor and let my eyes lead me. The staging is absolutely gorgeous. I'm taking corner after corner of amazing design aesthetics and beautiful decor. Finally ending up at the curtains, he looked through the selection to see what he wanted to purchase and just when we were ready to make a decision... Boom!!!! We find out that there are no curtains in-store. They are on display as you may see and feel them, however, to purchase; you must scan the QR Code and order online. Yeah... talk about a wowsers moment. After finding out we wouldn't be leaving with what we came for, I headed to the clearance section to see what could possibly be on clearance opening weekend. There were a lot of cute open-box items to choose from. I know for next time to always see what's over in this section as I can tell it will change daily. As I headed back towards the front, I grabbed a handheld steamer as I needed to steam my Easter outfit. Ha!!!! I ended up making a purchase after all. Though it's not what we came for, I didn't leave empty handed. The cashier line is towards the front of the store. The line was lengthy, however, every register was open so it moved swiftly. The registers are high tech and once I provided my email address it pulled up my Wayfair profile from the app and everything was connected. The cashier advised me to download the app as it has my personal barcode and that can be used in-store for identification purposes and returns if need be. I recently visited the new Wayfair store in Atlanta . I had to stop by after so much hype from content creators. There were nice elements about the store, but I was hoping for more unique, standout pieces like what I buy on their website. I have pieces from their online store you wouldn't believe came from Wayfair ! I hate to say it but the highlight for me were the beautifully designed bathrooms with floor to ceiling doors that give excellent privacy , and the cute snack spot called The Porch-such a nice touch ! Meaning : The heart of the home . I ordered a blueberry scone, but it was just ok . Not too sweet and kind of bland . I sound very critical here , but I have to tell the truth . It's definitely been hyped up . But it's a nice place to shop for ordinary items I can find at Marshall's . It's a cross between Ikea and Marshall's for sure ! If you like tiny little IKEA looking couches this location has you covered. I'll definitely keep shopping at Wayfair online , where the selections feel more varied and unique. It's a furniture store that's kind of like Ikea but not as fun. Prices are ok to decently average. The place is very clean but then again, it just opened. Go up three flights of stairs to TJMaxx or HomeGoods for better prices. I came for the opening weekend gift cards and to check out the clearance section. I have purchased a few things off Wayfair.com and have carefully measured the dimensions and have been happy with the results. I would treat this place like a showroom for the website. I got hungry and got smoked pork brisket sandwich from The Porch. It was surprisingly ok. It was sweet but not smoky enough. Would I come here again? Nah. Wayfair is new so it was packed from the front to the sides to the back! When something is new here, the flood gates open. And it did for them. I saw my bed set up on display & My Darling Daughter's sofa (which we ordered online) - we had giggles. Now I would only go IF I was seeking specifics. It wouldn't be an everyday thing per se Great selections to choose from- some areas reminded me of I....£A.... The people were nice which is a plus. Since I stay on a budget (remodeling in progress), I'll need to stick with my other favs and come here if I canNOT find it there. Be patient with the staff! I'd been a fan of Wayfair as a .COM retailer but gaining a brick and mortar location was a huge surprise for Atlanta! They took over the former Howell Mill Walmart location which was a great fit. This store really impressed me and I walked away with inspiration, shelf items to walk out with and ordered a large piece online. There's plenty of free parking to get to the two entrances - one by the cafe and the other in the seasonal decor. There's carts for standard and bulky items, flat carts for oversized items and clear tote bags for soft goods like blankets, towels, pillows, etc. There's signage and printed maps to navigate the sections of the store, QR codes on everything to order and see similar items. The sales associates are floating around with tablets to assist with measuring, colors, room design and more. I think the sales and regular price points were good. I'm also a Professional member so I get an extra 5% off. I left with some home items - Queen pillows, mattress cover, towels set and a kitchen mat. I ordered a 6-drawer dresser with the assembly service to be delivered. Stuck to my shopping list and saw inspiration for my living room project. You can save all your scans on the app or .COM page once you login. The checkout was simple and they showed me how to bring up my membership code to scan. A really pleasurable shopping experience and not as large or overwhelming as IKEA. Plus items get delivered with the option to assemble the item for $100. I'll be back to try the Cafe! read more

I have never purchased anything from Wayfair before. I got there right before it opened on a Saturday morning. By the time I left about an hour later, much of the parking was full. A lot of people were shopping at the store. I walked around the entire store even to the back of the store where the clearance and final sale items were. Shante, a sales associate, was very helpful when I was looking for couches located in the furniture section. Since the store is so large, they should definitely have more employees located throughout the different areas to offer assistance. Much of the furniture I sat on, I did not find comfortable. Many of the nightstands and dressers did not seem to be of a very high quality. Some of the most comfortable items were the mattresses. I would go back because the store has a lot of different items for sale at various prices. read more

Love the option of going to the store to check things out before buying! We visited on a weekday and there was plenty of parking. The store is well organized and with plenty of stock, very organized and tidy. We were looking for ideas for a new couch and found one that could have been a contender. After trying unsuccessfully to figure out how to plug it in (it had reclining functions) a store worker came by to ask if we needed help. She called another colleague and ultimately they were not able to figure it out or answer our questions definitively. If the point of the store is trying things out before buying, kind of pointless to go if not everything works. read more

I'm so glad that the old Walmart has been replaced by Wayfair! I think it's a great addition in the area since it's close to college campuses and IKEA. I had to make a return that I purchased online and the process was super easy. Their parking lot was probably 80% full when we arrived on Saturday afternoon - so yes, they do get very busy and crowded in the weekends. We decided to walk around the store after I made the return, and they honestly offered great items for great prices. It seems like there was an assigned staff in each section too. I believe that I also saw a cafe where shoppers can stop for a quick bite. I think this place is worth visiting! read more

Think twice before ordering something with an associate!! An associate helped me purchase something in store. I needed it fairly quickly and they said it wasn't in stock in the store, but they told me it would deliver within 5 days. They told me I would be "shocked" by how quickly it delivered. The expected delivery date came and went. I realized I never got any updates on shipping. I couldn't see any info on shipping online either. I called and got corporate Wayfair, who said they can't assist because the order was placed in store. All they could tell me is that the associate placed the order wrong. I tried reaching the store directly but they never answer their phone and their mailbox is full, so there's no way to get in touch with them. I don't live nearby, so walking in for help isn't a small task. It feels like I got scammed out of hundreds of dollars with no way to get what I ordered. And the customer service at this location after you walk out the door is nonexistent. Be very careful before making a purchase here! read more

To Yelp Subject: Return I ordered 4 antifatigue mats from Wayfair in May and a runner carpet with padding. I returned one of the mats. The carpet was significantly too long and I wanted to return it for something shorter but I found no order number. I called customer service and while helpful she said I needed an order number too. I had kept all the packaging from the mats and the carpet runner and none of them had the order number for the carpet runner Wayfair advertises having just what I need. But no fairness in returns. This item was about $69 and no contact after the discussion about the item with customer service. I feel I have been unjustly treated and that Wayfair owes me the $69 at least and an inconvenience fee. -2* read more

highly toxic scent -- I would highly advise you against stepping inside . The they are pumping major league scents into the store that are so toxic, I never get migraines, But I had a migraine within one minute of stepping through the door and was sick the rest of the day. I really wanted to look because they had some nice looking items and appeared to have a good variety of price points, but I could not handle how strong the smell was there. I understand they want it to smell pleasant, but obviously the fumes from the chemical based scent that they have pumping through are terrible and if I were wayfair, I would be worried about lawsuits from the employees that have to work there on a daily basis. I know some people are accustomed to these smells and don't think they are affected by them because they are used to it, but I assure you it is not healthy! I would truly love to go back in. I would love to be able to shop around there, but I could not handle it. If they get enough feedback about this and actually remove the I hope they can let me know so I can go back in! read more

Huge store,great lighting , incredibly clean and well organized ...but the heavily scented air freshener they have throughout the ventilation system gave me a horrible headache and I had to leave. It's completely overpowering and unnecessary! I visited the store opening day and there was no scent so it's obviously something they added in the last few weeks. I went to experience this new Wayfair store that was built off Howell Mill Road exit off of 75. They have a parking deck, but it was very crowded on Saturday to the point where it took 45 to 50 minutes to exit the parking garage!! You can't imagine the frustration that the customers had trying to get in and out of this place. Once inside, it was highly self service as each item has a scannable QR code that points you back into the website. After you leave, you start getting messages about what you scanned when you were only looking for the price.. once you scan a QR code that's it. You're gonna be harassed with multiple text messages and or emails that you will have to delete an unsubscribe from. The scene outside in the garage was almost unbearable. People were unruly., not letting people in or out in front of them in order to keep the traffic flowing. They should have had officers from the APD scheduled at the stoplight on Howell Mill making sure that traffic was flowing. They had some few random employees trying to do what they could, but it was not enough enforcement. Total mismanagement of the day on Saturday before Easter. read more

Visited Wayfair last Sunday, last day of the grand opening for the $50 gift card giveaway to the first 100 customers. I arrived at 8:40AM and the first 100 customers already had a slip to get a gift card. Employees giving the slips said the first 100 customers arrived by 8:30AM!! I asked so what do we get as arrivals after 8:30AM? A pair of purple kid like sunglasses and a purple windmill! REALLY!! The store does not open until 10AM. What a TRICKY Come on!! I insisted stating I got up at 7AM, driving 50 minutes for purple shades and a purple windmill?!?! So my reward was a 20% off coupon. To MANAGEMENTwhen the 100 customers had arrived and gifted the $50 gift cards those in the line after 8:30AM til 10AM when the store opened should have at the least all been given a 20% off coupon. Now about the store: love the organization by sections and departments. It's a huge store that's very clean with great customer service. The woman at the customer service desk showed me how to setup the app and how to get affirm to pay for my purchases. The floor employees were exceptional!! Reminded me of shopping 20 years ago-plenty of help with a smile!! Prices at the grand opening were awesome. Am headed back today, Monday, April 27 to shop for the Wayday last day big annual sale to see if prices better than grand opening prices??!! Scanning QR codes is a good new concept!
