My experience was mediocre and I wanted to share that. Pros: Scheduling/billing is really easy. Fun notes & photos. Prompt responses to inquiries. Cons: Not very attentive. Not very punctual/reliable (one time she was late almost for an hour, which is a lot for a puppy's scheduled potty time).

I could not get anyone to answer and I decided to go to the location in Tukwila to check the status of my dog. I was told at 4:45 pm that my pet had been bathed and was dry now they were going to do the grooming. If they would have answered their phone after calling 3 times I could have at least been informed of the status of my pet. I tried to respond to the text they sent me at 1 pm and I got a response that I cannot send text messages to that number. Normally it takes 2-3 hours and that would be fine if I could have communicated with them. I am waiting in the parking lot for the them to finish grooming. The groomer Stephanie could have been more understanding. It was as if she was uncomfortable with me checking in on the status of my pet. I will not be returning to this location. I do not feel valued as a customer.

I kept hitting a…read morebrick wall trying to move my Cockatiel "Rocky" myself, I got so many different answers from expat sites from, get a vet cert and you are good to go, to birds cannot be transported to the US, it is not allowed. Finally I found Dog Gone Taxi, I reached out to Rebeca about 6 months or so before our planned move from Europe back to the States. She had all the answers I was looking for and I had lots of questions, probably drove her crazy, but she always patiently answered them in a timey manner. When the time came to move and it moved fast, Rebeca was there to get things done, seriously could not have done this without her expertise and help. Finally the day came and we arrived in New York and Rocky was picked up for quarantine. It was really difficult to hand him over, but it was the price to pay to bring him to the States. Rebeca assured us he would be well cared for, which he was, the facility sent us photos while he was being observed. Now moving forward 30 days and the end of quarantine, we opted for their nanny service to bring Rocky to us. Rebeca set everything up for Stephanie to receive Rocky at the airport, Stephanie had booked the flight, they did all the necessary paperwork and Rocky arrived safe and happy. Stephanie was so kind and sent us photos when she received Rocky at the airport and kept us informed through the whole trip. Thank you both so much for your help and kindness. Rocky is very happy to be back with his canine brothers and of course his humans also. I highly recommend Dog Gone Taxi for all your pet travels!

I had traded some emails with them but wanted more info on transporting our cat from TN to CA. I spoke with Ashley on the phone and she answered all of my questions. She was great! We decided to use them as we were trying to get our cat there within 7-10 days. They were able to accommodate our schedule. After I put down the deposit I was contacted by Taylor saying she would be the pet nanny taking our cat from the airport in Nashville to the door of our home in CA. She was very kind on the phone and extremely kind in person. She put our minds at ease. She stayed in constant contact and sent us photos and texts as the travel day progressed. She even called ahead to the house letting them know the ETA for arrival our cat Sasha. Taylor was just fantastic!! This was a great experience from beginning to end! They made this experience a great one. We were nervous but Taylor and the crew gave us confidence that we made the right choice! I am very thankful at the ease of making the arrangements and being able to check references, as well as completing an in person meet and greet. Heather is very responsive to all forms of communication. My cats are deathly afraid of people, but Heather was able to send me pictures of them hiding under the bed every day. She made the pick up and drop off of the key super easy and was available to work on a holiday. I appreciate the ability to pay online as well. I also like that she had us sign paperwork for vet treatment as needed ahead of time. We're planning another trip in October and looking forward to seeing if she is successful at getting them to interact with her.

She took the time to understand my dog's needs, her motivations, and how to best work with her. While I was in China for 10 days, Heather and her team were very accommodating and responsive with working with my boyfriend to take care of her. They took her for walks in the middle of the day, and texted my boyfriend a report each day with how it went. They gave her treats (with our permission) and lots of pets after each walk- so I know my dog was living the life of luxury! I was really thankful for Puget Paws, and would recommend them to anyone! It's nice to know I have a reliable dog walker for when I head out of town. :)

Why would you put your dog at a kennel type place if you have or had this option. My dog is practically like family to Cindy now. It's honestly invaluable what she provides. My dog is never in a crate, and gets to hang with Cindy and her family, go out back and check out the chickens and other animals, he's not locked up in a cage for 20 of 24 hours a day. I get the overnight kennel places probably not having the man power to pay one on one attention to those dogs, but it's just that your dog is going from free reign of your own home to being in a kennel for hours at a time. It's a huge adjustment and difference. With Cindy, they're going from your home, to a home. She gives you updates too on how your dog is doing and sometimes even sends off photos too. I recommend Cindy to any & everyone who's in need for a dog sitter.

My little cat Murray was in the hospital, very sick, and needed to be transferred from her vet in Lodi to a specialist vet in Sacramento. I was tied up with a work crisis but Murray needed to get to Sacramento. After a frantic search on Yelp, I found Cindy and she dropped everything, on a Saturday afternoon, and drove from Manteca to pick up Murray in Lodi and take her to Sacramento. Cindy even stayed in Sacramento for several hours until I could get there. Cindy made it possible for my beloved Murray to get the best medical care and I am forever grateful. She sent me a video of Murray, which I cherish. Thank you, Cindy, your kindness, generosity of spirit and integrity are treasures; thank you for caring about my Murray as if she were your own.
