If you're not from the neighborhood, here's a tip: no one calls it Cameron's. As the giant neon signs on the side proclaim, we call it the "WE NEVER CLOSE." The store is basically a decent indie version of a7-11. It's a quick place to grab beer (they have a surprisingly decent selection) or a bag of chips. Everything is outrageously priced--but the convenience factor is HIGH. And, honestly, not giving your $ to 7-11 is pretty appealing--as is shopping in a store with handwritten signs and a colorful staff.

As we park we walk to a store right next to this seven 11, and we were not even 5 minutes away and decided to go back to the car, and as we're walking up there's a man putting a boot on my vehicle. Yes, I was oblivious to the sign saying any non-customers cars will be towed, and that it did not say specifically if you had to pay before or after parking to be not booted, which to me makes it a big deal when I went in and still chose to spend my money there after having the boot, I assumed that then would understand that since I bought something, and wasn't there for more than 5 minutes you would think that'd be enough to show my accountability, but no. I had to pay 90$ to get a boot off because I DID NOT GO INTO THE STORE FIRST....so if you decide to park in this seven 11's parking lot make sure you ONLY go there, or else you will get booted. The tow man gets a hard on with booting people and making them pay that owner's totalitarian tax with parking on his property. I'm sorry, but this is not right. I stopped at this 7-11 on my way from CVS on Kenmore Ave…read more I've been here a few times before but never really paid attention to my surroundings. Being a YELPER, I tend to notice more these days. First, the parking lot is an ok size, but there's a lot of junk in it today, which limited parking. 2nd- I couldn't open either door to get in. Then I finally did, but they were very hard to work with. I went over to the pop area, where they still have the old pop machines, which made the pop keep foaming up too much & I had to keep stopping & waiting. Then, they had no lids for the Big Gulps, so I had to use a Slurpee lid,which I hate. There were a bunch of male tweens in there being SO LOUD, taking plastic ware & putting it in their pockets, making messes with the Slurpees & no one said anything. The drink area was quite messy & I felt claustrophobic. It was too packed in & no room to move. I went to the counter to pay & he said the "Snap Benefits" machine hasn't worked in about a month now ! Hmmmmm, I wonder what they could do about that ???????? Ugh ! I did not like anything about this location at all !! I don't even know why I'm giving it 2 stars, but I'll stick with those.
