I stop at Oconomowoc on Brown Street and filled up a Honda Fit, $35.75. that was about 1:30 Sunday, July 12. At 6 pm July 12 I just wanted to check my bank account. It had the $35.75 and it also had$125.00 charge pending at Kwik Trip. I drove back to that Kwik Trip and they told me they do that , the manager at the time did not know why but if it does not come off to stop back down??? Why do they put a $125. 00 charge on your card ? if they do that to everybody, they make a lot of money just hold that money overnight. I heard from several people that I know that work at Kwik trip that said since dad retired the son took over and is making changes to the business that just load up his pocketbook and this is obviously one of them , putting $125.00 charge on your debit card for a $35.75 dollar charge. I hope the dad reads this , I am also contacting the BBB and my Congressman because this does not seem to be ok!!!!!

Glazer Doughnut with Chocolate Drizzle: Kwik Trip is a convenience store/gas station chain located…read moreprimarily in the upper Mid-West. It was founded in 1965 in my home state of WI, specifically, Eau Claire (have fun pronouncing that all you non-Wisconsinites). It wasn't until 2003 that Kwik Trip introduced their Glazer Doughnuts. I couldn't find a lot of info on Glazers, but they appear to simply be the Kwik Trip version of a glazed doughnut. The Glazer that I got my hands on is a yeast/raised doughnut, covered in a sweet glaze, and has a chocolate drizzle on top. There's a pale/whitish appearance to the doughnut since the layer of glaze is so thick. With an appearance like that it reminded me a bit of a zebra or oddly enough, the Warboys from Mad Max. My glazer was satisfyingly sweet, and the chocolate drizzle was a nice touch as it was not simply for aesthetics, but did add some milk chocolate flavor. Warming it in the microwave for a few seconds elevated it to near Krispy Kreme status (aka perfection). Even though it's an ersatz Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut (to be fair, all other glazed doughnuts in my experience are), Kwik Trip's version is still tasty enough to be Doughboy approved My top doughnut shops: 1. I went here to eat at the Blue Badger on the 2nd floor, but wandered around the store where you could buy various fluids for your vehicle, various fluids for you body, stacks, beer (including Spotted Cow), and even whiskey to go. They had decent restrooms where you could get rid of various fluids. Food wise, they had a trailer which served a variety of food including Krispy Crunchy Chicken, a sit-down restaurant on the 2nd floor, Kringles from a local bakery (I presume), and a Taco Bell! Yaaas! It's bigger than it looks (I know you are, but what am I?) from the outside and reminds me of a Duke's or Love's if you're familiar.

The first pump I went to was leaking gas out of the handle where the hose connects. It got all over…read moremy tire. The handle was stuck but wasn't pumping, it took me a minute to get it unstuck to put it back then I went to a different pump and that handle also got stuck, but wasn't pumping the gas. It was easier to get unstuck and I restarted. The tap to pay was ruined on that one, but at least it didn't leak. There are no options that don't contain 10% ethanol which is no good...I don't want ethanol in my car. Some locations still do no ethanol. I also went to use the windshield wash and it stunk so bad like it hadn't been changed for 2 weeks, the water was definitely rancid. The other one had 2 handles in it and they were also stuck in the washer container. Everything I tried is stuck at this location. I will be avoiding this location now for gas needs.
