I'm not a deep coffee analyst. I know what I like. I don't cue up in the inexplicable lines outside…read morethe mediocre national chains, burning now overpriced gas for an overpriced substandard cup of coffee that was rapidly put together without much regard next to the breakfast sandwiches being assembled as their components sadly spew out of the microwaves and turbochefs. If you are as adorably crumudgeonly on such matters, support local! The sisters that run Unapologetic Coffee are creating something special. My work schedule doesn't allow me to get there in person very much, but when it happens its worth it. I said what I said is a fine brew either hot or cold and I am sure Black Mixed with Black will class up my home brewer until I can pay my next visit. If you want a damn fine cup of coffee, latte, made with care and respect from some incredible people, swing by the Best Self building and pay them a visit. The sisters who run the place are creating something special. They have a passion and joy for building great drinks and it is worth the dollars to having something local, BETTER than the crappy chains. A great cup of coffee awaits, get you some.

I'm a sucker for a chai latte - they always remind me of fall. And let me tell you... Unapologetic…read moreCoffee has the best chai latte out there. It has a really unique taste that simply offers comfort and love in every sip. I've had it hot and iced, made by different baristas, and it slaps every time! I've also purchased their coffee grounds to make cold brew at home and it definitely gives me a good kickstart to my day! Don't be fooled by the buildings' exterior. Once you walk into the coffee shop on the lower level of the shared building space, you'll quickly realize it's a great spot to connect with friends, colleagues, or alone! Lots of space and a really nice community table as well. 10/10 would recommend you visit!

My daughter and I like to go to coffee shop dates on the weekends together , and this time Haraz was the stop. Your instantly transformed transported to a new world. The art, cultural, lighting everything is just so beautiful, and cozy. They have card and small board games available to play, while you wiat for your order or during your visit. The staff is always so friendly and kind. Ive been to the location on Elmwood as well. Almost 2 , 3 times a week lol . And the staff in both locations are wonderful . Not the drinks and food. There is soooo much to choose from , and everything looks and smells equally delicious. Our first visit I landed on the Pastashio frappe, and my daughter the hot chocolate. For a bit to eat I ordered the Bee bits. Which is Toasted Bread with Cream cheese and Honey. So delicious!!!! Recommend 100%. My daughter ordered two Macaroons. She also enjoyed. Now my go to drink is there Pistachio Latte!!!! Order one next time. You'll thank me later. We've also tired the virual fruit desserts. So far only tried the lemon. Was good but not my favorite. To much cream for my taste. But still very delicious. If you like creamy desserts that would be a great pick. They have soooo much to choose from. I get excited to return everytime. There is a drink for everyone's taste from , coffee to refreshers. Make sure you drop by soon !

I got a small hot chocolate and it was great, it was very creamy and a good level of chocolate. I would definitely recommend it and it is 100% better than Tim's hot chocolate.

Fun coffee shop in the heart of downtown Buffalo, definitely worth a visit…read more I was staying at Hotel Lafayette for a couple of nights and right before I checked out I decided to swing by to grab a coffee. While you can enter from the street, it's also connected from inside the hotel, which is honestly how it caught my attention. The space is actually pretty big, bigger than I expected. It's open, colorful, there's a ton of natural light, cool murals all over the walls, luscious greenery, and a variety of seating options. The counter where you order is nice and open, with a big menu, and a sheet of glass between the customers and what I quickly came to know is their staple item, the cruller - a donut-like pastry that's super airy on the inside with a delicious icing glaze on the outside. Along with my oat milk latte, I had to try one... ok two. I got a seasonal Pride one and I can't remember the other one. Both were dreamy and it was easy to see why they are so popular. If I lived in the area this spot would totally be a go-to for working out of when I want to switch up my scenery.
