This place lacks customer service and service in general. Took my car in at 10:00 am for a smog check, oil change and look at a squeak in the engine. The guy said it's probably the belt and the smog guy should be here any minute now. Ok left the car. So now it's 3:18 and I haven't heard anything so I give them a call. The guy tells me ohh I was just going to call you. We didn't do the smog check after all because the guy didn't show up to work. 5 hours! My car sat there for hours not getting smogged when I could have went somewhere else!!! He tells me he just found out. It's a small building how could you not notice he wasn't there? I go to pick it up the girl at the counter says oh our smog guy had to leave for a family emergency. So what was it? Did he not show or did he leave? Then we ask if the noise was fixed so she says she'll get the technician. She comes back and tells us he says "it needs some kind of spray on the belt that we don't carry". Oh and get this I was starting to tell a friend of mine and he says let me guess the smog guy didn't show up to work? He says it happened to him a couple of years ago and stopped going there. read more

Bad Social Distancing! I recommended this place to my girlfriend since they mostly do a good job on my car and I've been going there for almost 8 years. When we drove up, the tech was right in front of our face not even wearing a mask. On top of that while my girlfriend was writing down her information, the tech was BITING HIS NAILS! I understand that they're going to be inside the car anyways to do work, but at the very least they should be wearing a mask when coming up to the customers. There doesn't seem to be any Social Distancing policy at this place and this needs to be addressed ASAP! Let alone the tech biting his nails right in front of us!!! read more

He asked what I needed and explained diligently the pricing and what was best for my type of service, he was pretty thorough which made it easy for me to choose. Almost 3hrs oil change for Mercedes c300. Did not change oil filter because someone misplaced it. The technicians looked confuse; don't bring your german car there... unbelievable... will never come back! Gave me $10 discount.. now.. am i supposed use that 10 bucks to buy a mercedes filter and change it myself... bad business! Not enough tools and equipments to repair, maintain your car. Man where do I start with this place. Brought my work car in for some repairs. Coolant leak and replace some hoses they said. I'll keep it short. I had to bring my car back 5 times! I dont even blame them anymore. Shame on me for going there the first time, I went there for the second time. I was on a rush, and the usual repair shop was packed. Being overpriced is one thing, but selling you bullshit stuff like you need to change your break fluid is another matter entirely. Taking one and a half hour for an oil change and break fluid change for the price of 160 bucks, that is not a great service. The break fluid change took 10 mins. At least that he is right, my transmission fluid needs to be changed. The break fluid was changed 9 months ago, and they tried to tell me it was black. Being stupid and thinking that my previous repair guy might have scammed me, I caved in. It wasnt even black. He even showed me, and there is zero black stuff. Then he came around to convince me that it shouldnt be color green. I'm not a repair guy, but if it is transparent where you can see through to the bottom, i'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the fluid. 80 bucks on oil change with another 80 bucks on break fluid change is my total cost. Sitting there and reading yelp review on this place, I was pretty disappointed in myself. I take full responsibility for my stupidity on going to this place. read more

I came in for an oil change and was disappointed that they didn't walk through the services they did. Most shops walk through "what you need" and "what they did." I had to ask what they did. I'm not asking for a crazy clean. But rather a wipe. I left and got gas and checked under my hood to find oil that could've been easily wiped off. There was also oil all over my driver side door and door handle... I specify asked if they vacuum and check tire pressure. Neither of those where done. I'm really disappointed and was hoping to find a trusted place to get my car serviced near my place. The only good thing about this place is the cashier lady whose nice. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I have been here MANY times for many different cars. Ive never had an issue with them until today. (Besides being a little slow) The manager was VERY rude and downright disrespectful to me. I pulled up to get a smog done on an old work truck. One of the employees said it would be $58.00 with the certificate (which was fine) but then another guy came up and said it would be almost $90.00!! That's almost double! When i said that i had been givin a different price he coped an attitude n said " that guy doesn't know what he's talking about and I'M the manager." WTH?? Well after about a minute of listening to him literallly trying to lecture me, i left. Not only was the manager VERY rude but he was trying to rip me off!! Just found out today after my car had basically been taking a dump on itself that I had an oil leak. The workers at Speedee didn't properly put on the oil drain plug. Newbs. There are a few reasons why I would never come back to this location. When I had my 2000 Civic, I would religiously come here for an oil change. Never had a problem with their oil change service. It was always perfect. Eventually, I needed more maintenance work done on my Civic because of age. They recommended a transmission drain/refill and a coolant flush. The transmission service was good, but I really didn't approve of how they handled my coolant flush. They did successfully flush the coolant in my car, but their method wasn't environmentally friendly. I noticed that they pulled my car out of the garage and positioned the front of my car over a sewer drain. I noticed that they drained my old coolant directly into the sewer drain. At the time, I thought to myself that maybe this drain that I saw goes back into their facility. As the days went by, I'm pretty sure that the sewer drain does not go back into their facility. I pretty much paid for recycling/disposal fees without any actual recycling. The sad part is that it seemed like this was the routine for this service. When I flush my coolant at home, I have buckets/catch pans ready so I can put old coolant into bottles bring them to recycling/disposal facility. I also had a couple of issues when I brought my 1991 MR2 here. First issue was that they couldn't find my engine. I'll admit that since the engine is placed in the back of the car, this was an easy mistake. The second issue was that they broke my dip stick during the oil change. They made no effort to remove the drain pan to take the broken part out. All they said was that I can buy a new dip stick at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Currently, I just do my own oil changes. Takes a little effort on my end, but at least I have the satisfaction of knowing everything was done right. read more

I stopped in on a Friday evening, 1 hour before closing. No line! Just 15 minutes and the oil was changed, fluids checked, tires filled. My car is older, but they even checked manufacturer's guidelines to make recommendations on the next fluid change. Great team, friendly and helpful. They really know their stuff. I pulled up at 3:34p and they said they were closing and would not take anymore business. This place must be making a shit ton of money to turn away current and now any future business from me. I worked in retail at one time and could not imagine telling customers that although we are open until 4p you have to leave at 3:30. So I recently spilt some BCAA in my car and anyone who has done that knows how badly that smells. so I cleaned it up and sprinkled some baking soda over it to cover up the smell. so comes the speedee midas part. I needed an oil change and I see that they do vacuuming as part of their 17 point inspection. so great, I can get my oil changed and get rid of the baking soda. I get there and I specifically ask the technician that they do the vacuuming cause you can see the baking soda all over the floor and he says yes. so I leave my car there and go to the nearby starbucks and wait. I get a call half an hour later to pick up my car cause it seemed like they weren't that busy. I go pick it up and lo and behold, the baking soda is still there. thanks alot. makes me wonder what else of the 17 point inspection you guys skipped. won't be coming back here read more

Took my car there after work for a quick smog check. The guy hooks up the computer cable and stands there looking at it like he's never done this before. Then he says I don't drive my car enough to get a reading...what!?!? I say I commute 30+ miles everyday, that's ridiculous! Here's the best line: He says, you need to drive your car about 30 miles, stop & turn it off, then drive 30 more miles. What? Am I on video or being punked? Should I hold my keys over my head and twist n' shout? Sadly, he was serious. Finally I took my car to my local station in Campbell the next week where they hooked it up, tested it, and passed my vehicle in about 10 minutes. Oh, and one more visit from a few months before! I go there with a check engine light on, he tests it, says TCM (trans. control) then looks me right in the eye and says "get rid of it! Go sell it before the tranny blows!" What a great business and advice these guys run! Seems like they don't want to work. Say goodbye to an easy $50 for smog and to any other future repairs from me! read more

This place was horrible!! I will never come here again for service. I took my car in for an oil change after it was done I took it on the freeway heading north and the car went in overheat, smokes was thicker than 5 clock traffic!! My daughter was in the backseat!! I quickly got off the freeway called them back and spoke to their manager. He instructed me to checks for oil leak and drive the car back so they can inspect it again. I waited 30mins for engine to cool down then drove back to the shop. After the inspection they said it's not their fault, it something internal. I then took my car to near by shop for the diagnoses and found out that the car was overheated due to no coolants. Coolants on the checklist was checked off!!! Wtf read more
