He say's he'll bury it before he leaves. He doesn't. He leaves and left my yard messed up. Since when do contractors start digging BEFORE THEY HAVE VERIFIED THE ADDRESS?! I was in the phone and chat and messages with spectrum service and escalation teams all day and they promised to have this fixed immediately. It was not. I've been put off and told that the earliest appointment would be 3 days out. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I'm about to file a lawsuit for your contractor digging up my PRIVATE PROPERTY HE WASN'T INVITED ON. Spectrum..... you better make this right.

    The service with this company is horrid. They tell you they will do something, and then they do…read morenot do as promised. Worse yet is the number of times their story changes. I would ALWAYS write down information from this company because you WILL need it. I also really get upset when the company acts like it was something special or beyond normal expectations when they FINALLY take care of you. I hate being told one thing and then it does not happen or when I need to call, call, call to fix issues. HORRID company. As a sidebar...their bill states that they have a State Cost Recovery Fee on the bill. If you look down the bill in the description area the company's notes it says: Recovery Fee - The State Cost-Recovery Fee is not a tax Charter is required to collect from its customers by law, but is a charge that is made in order to recoup money paid by the company for taxes imposed on it. I think a company which makes as much money as they do should be able to pay its own taxes.

To say Rise Internet is the McDonald's of the internet service providers isn't exactly true. Dumpster diving would be more accurate and fitting when comparing them to the food service industry. They used to go by the name of Skybeam and their service was just as bad then as it is now. The largest source of their problems (other than methamphetamine addict being a requirement for employment in a technical role) is from them overselling the service and putting more (far more) customers on towers than they are rated for. The last couple of months I had service with this company I used my phone as a hotspot because when there was a signal the upload and download speeds were sub-Megabit. I was trying to change the password to the email provided by Rise. The process on their website was not working. I cannot remember the exact excuse they gave me, but told me in order to change it I would have to give them the new password and they would do it. Yes, they really think customers are as stupid as their employees. They were trying to get me to pay $9x.xx for the last month of service, which I didn't. I was hoping they would begin collection action so I could begin legal action. They never came an removed their equipment. Why waste fuel when you know it is malfunctioning and cannot be used on another unsuspecting victim/customer? TL/DR: Crap service from a crap company. Review edited because I saw they changed their name again, but not a good job at losing name recognition.

Reliant I believe. Anyway.... thats only the start. They take advantage this way because you have two option really bad or worse than really bad and that's it. Also if you want to cancel service, you cannot do it online. You have to wait until hours that are not ordinary business hours and not on weekends either to try to cancel your service. If your work schedule doesn't permit then you are simply out of luck. And then your stick with the bill until you finally have a day when they are open to reach the department that will disconnect services. Do yourself a favor and just go with worse than bad. The service is probably very close to the same. We didn't have a huge improvement at all. In my opinion they need a class action lawsuit filed against them.

He lied about the price of the jupiter cords. He didnt tell me y the overall price was higher. Cords were higher than quoted. I was charged additionally 4 organizing wires! How is that not part of the install?! The picture quality isnt HD, they r having contract disputes over local channels, and not every channel or app is included with the highest package!

    I have been a customer of Dish Network for about 15 yrs. At first, their customer service was…read moreexceptional, and was always American techs who were easy to understand and very capable. And if you did have a problem, Dish was always responsive and willing to adjust my bill if I had problems. Also, when rates increased, as they did regularly, the CS people would work with you to find a plan that was affordable. All of that has changed. Actually getting thru the mindless questions from an AI generated app, to speak with a human is quite the challenge! And when you finally Do get a person, they are in India I believe, and sometimes difficult to understand and impossible to get your questions asked because the conversations are scripted and if you don't follow their script, you get nothing. Today my service was cut off because I had an outstanding balance. Paid it via phone and was told service back on in 15 minutes. Four hours later I turn on the TV and nothing. Restarted the whole system, but still no picture or sound. After being on the phone for an hour, I finally got a signal but no Guide to see what's on! Tech had me plugging and unplugging everything, and generally trouble shooting for an hour! All in all, I would say Dish Network is definitely not the company it once was. their prices are high and go up continuously, the customer service needs to be completely revamped, and moved back to the US, and if they want to stay in business, they had better take a hard look at exactly what they are providing for $130 per month, that we can't get somewhere else!!
