Some door to…read moredoor salesman came by and convinced my roommate to switch over from spectrum because of how much better and faster frontier was. We went from "100mbps" with spectrum to "150mbps" with frontier. Ummm this is false, I have done numerous speed tests (when the WiFi is actually working, which is half the time) and it's about 1/4 the speed of spectrum. We have one device hooked up to the Ethernet cable and that's the only device that seems to work. The WiFi is an absolute joke. It cuts out constantly and my fire stick & ps4 give me error codes and trouble shooting info. The troubleshooting says to reboot modem and if that doesn't work to contact our service provider. Rebooting doesn't work so what do we do? We call frontier. Once we were connected to somebody we explained the issues and were told that it was because we had more than one device connected to WiFi or we could be having issues if the modem is near a microwave. Are you kidding me?! First off the modem is 15 yards from the microwave so that's BS, secondly because we have more than one device connected?!?! That's absolutely asinine!!! We then asked if we could upgrade our modem, and were transferred to somebody else. After 15 minutes on hold we were told that they don't offer any other modem than the crap one they gave us! We then get transferred to customer retention but we ended up hanging up because of how frustrated we were with them. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Don't waste your time or money with this "company". We're switching back to spectrum on Monday. Never had a single issue with their customer service or internet service. When I came back the young lady told me that the transfer was not done yet and it showed that it will take 9 hours which I questioned never having to wait that long for transfer. I wanted to be sure it will work because I need my phone for work and she assured me it will and it was because I had a lot of data. 1 hour and 1/2 later the transfer time was still 9 hours and I knew something was wrong.Went back to the store and dealt with a young and visibly knowing man that fix the problem in 15 mn having my transfer time from 9 hours to 2 minutes. Nonetheless to say my day was very inefficient because of this . I understand things happen but an apology of sort will have be nice because obviously the first time it was done wrong. Currently a Samsung Galaxy Ultra 23 users, not quite ready for an upgrade but inquiring for the future. Plenty of people to answer questions or offer assistances. Accessories can be a little steep compared to deals you can find online, however they are convenient and discounts arised, especially around the holidays. I will note that I'm not an iPhone user by any means so I can't speak to any issues with the 15 or even 16 or issues with Trade-in/upgrade to those devices.

I've wanted to work from home for quite some time and got into video editing. Frontier upload and download speeds were so slow, I'd have to wait at least a whole day to download videos clients sent, and upload videos I edit for them. Wisprenn services proved to be stable when doing other tasks such as gaming, watching streams, etc. However, when uploading and downloading files the internet crashes often making my work impossible. Online and over the phone they sounded like they'd be better than Frontier, not extremely better, but better non the less. But, as I already said, at least with frontier and having to wait a whole day I'd be able to upload and download video files. Wisprenn let me down. Felt like I was finally going to catch a break, and do my work more efficiently, but instead I'm left having to tell clients I can't do any work for them because the connection is so unstable. If you're in the Westwood area I don't recommend either Frontier or Wisprenn. Please find something else because these two are garbage.
