I was about 6th on waiting list, and it was not long compared to my last visit there. Mark was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and oh so helpful. Best of all, service with a smile. Gis parents, grandparents, whomever have GOT to be so proud of him. I know I am, and I let him know. Yes, we chatted up a mini storm but he was able to work, talk and get me out. Spectrum came out to hook up their WiFi hardware only to find that they couldn't find their coaxial cable leading to my home, everything here is underground, I walked with the technician to look for my connection at two different locations, and nothing, but what I did notice is they don't take care of the infrastructure they own, so I went to T-Mobile wireless internet, it performs like a charm, just plug and play, Spectrum is a dinosaur, still using cables, drilling holes on your home, running cables like old school, I'm glad that it worked out the way it did. read more

We had connectivity issues, so we scheduled a tech, and Spectrum sent out one at no charge. The Technician's name was Chuy and was the most thorough and professional Technician that I have ever experienced with any internet provider. He was knowledgeable, courteous, communicative, and transparent. He thoroughly checked the modem, the service box on the house, and then the cables on the pole that feeds to the house. He spent a good time at our residence diagnosing and repairing the problem. I was wavering in the service of Spectrum lately and if they were worth it. My faith in them has been renewed. I went in this last weekend to have my service changed, the wait was a bit long, but I was helped with everything set out to do, changing my services and getting phones set up, the rep was very nice and friendly and put up with my family and I thru the whole thing. The entire company is easily the most inefficient and incompetent collection of service drones I've come upon in awhile. Between stupid policies and rude goof off personelle the spectrum dynasty is successfully wasting my time and trying my patience. In Barstow the would not let me return equipment from a business office we closed. I waited as a dozen employees wandered around talking and interrupting the only few actually working. Then I drone 30 miles to wait for a guy who never showed. Now I have spent twenty minutes waiting for a person to call my name. I just want to return the stuff. We already received a bill. For the stuff and we just turned it off. We use the spectrum products at home but I'm close to changingservice because apparently trying to end an account is such a hassle because they want. To stealth my $217 by ignoring me. The whole place is empty now and I remain without help. Now I half hour more of my life is gone I've had it with tech swine. The people who work at this location treat people poorly. I am not shocked by the ratings on this location once I pulled it up here on yelp. A gentleman needed help with his phone being activated and the worker was so rude to him I was shocked. Spectrum offers cell service now yet they treat people poorly when they come in with questions. She made him feel dumb for being in there and he was being so nice just letting her know he was confused with how to do a few things. Then there were at least 6 people in line to sign in as when you walk in no worker will talk to you or assist you unless you reserved an appt online or sign in at the store with an iPad . There machine was frozen and not allowing people to sign in! I had to ask one of them to come over and assist a few elderly ladies who were struggling. I was just there to return a modem and the service was horrible. The gentleman who tried to assist me acted like he did not know what he was doing he told me he seen I had 3 active devices at home when I have 2, then he asked if I was wanted to cancel service I said no I'm just returning! He seemed so lost. With all the people who need work I'm sure there are some who can provide better customer service. We had a horrible experience today with customer service represents Stephanie. Since the start she was extremely rude! We told her we needed to change a phone to another one to the one that had a line. A simple transaction and she made a very smart remark letting us know the phones had two different apple ids. I told her yes we know that so you need to log off one and complete the process so she got the phone and started doing what we thought would be the actual transaction we needed. Once she was done, she said here it's ready but it wasn't! She just transferred all the data to the other phone but she didn't even begin the security delay on the phone or changed over the line . So I told her she had not finished and she said: "well that's not what you asked for" in a very rude way! I told her again yes I did but you didn't understand because since the beginning you had the worst attitude with us! She is very u professional and should not be in customer service! I gave a higher rating for this location because of the service. The wait is long for sure, but once your turn is up, you're not rushed. They are worth the wait and they don't mind taking time for things you may not understand. Especially for seniors and elderly. These services can be difficult to adapt to. I'm sure they will figure out a more efficient way of handling the wait times, but in the meantime I believe they have more to offer than the satellite companies that are quick to hold you hostage to a 24 month contract. With spectrum there are no contracts and when service charges go up as with any media company, they are approachable and negotiable. I've had spectrum mobile for a year now and I have just as good a service as I did with Verizon. The XUMO device was easy enough for my mother to adapt to and it's only $5 a month. WOW!! Where do I even start? This was by far the longest wait time I have ever endured. 1&1/2 hours of sitting and waiting to be called up for service. I needed to add my son to my wireless bill and pay my internet bill. All I was able to do was pay my bill. They do not accept cash payments for phone service! Maybe they should display this some where so when customers walk in they can take that into consideration before wasting so much time because they do not tell you this vital information to begin with. They have a lady standing and greeting people and after a representative finishes a transaction she will go up to them and ask for the dollar amount. I just think sales should be discussed before or after business hours. They should have a separate line for equipment exchanges only. This is just me but if I know it's just an exchange I'll take the initiative to make that happen. Happy customers will give you more stars. I see why spectrum store locations have low ratings, but I must say that spectrum's customer service over the phone is GREAT!!!
