I needed to turn in old equipment. I was the first person there on a Tuesday morning. (I gave the place a few minutes to open up because sometimes places don't open up when they say they will open up.) While I was being served, eight people walked in. Unlike me, they all had to take a number and sign in for service. Although there were two employees there, only one was taking customers. It was clear the other employee was working on administrative duties. I was given a receipt for the equipment. There is ample parking at this site. My recommendation: go early. read more

Located in a plaza off University Parkway. Plenty of parking available. We came here to drop off our two boxes that we had because we save $30 if we stream the shows on the Spectrum app. Don't know why we took so long to switch to live streaming instead. My hubby likes the option to record and watch later. I'm looking forward to enjoy the live stream now. The employee didn't take long to input that we returned our cable boxes. Easy peasy! Thanks Spectrum! read more

If I could give 0 stars... I would. Ordered new equipment on the 11th of October and paid with a checking acct. and was to be delivered the 13th of this month. A 7 day hold was placed delaying delivery (later explained as a policy but was not disclosed at payment on the 11th). Spoke to someone on the phone today, the 14th of October, and they had me process payment again but with a debit card. That's (2) payments now. I was told I could go pick up the equipment from a store, I verified once again and she said yes. Arrived at the spectrum store off Kendall Dr in San Bernardino. Walked in and was only greeted once I walked up to one of the 3 employees hanging in there. I gave my number on the account and he started whispering to the worker next to him. I was aware there "was" a hold but was told to come into the store after the payment. Whispering about a customer in front of the customer- A1!! I let them know about what happened and was told they couldn't do anything. Manager was on lunch for another 30 minutes so I hung out and called the customer service line. A hour on the phone with a supervisor later- they can't do anything for me. Have to wait out the 7 business day hold. Worst customer service in store and on the phone ever. They're full of misleading information and a bunch of lies. read more

Where do I start... first of all "Joselyn" was the one who helped me out all the way through... they stole my money when I first opened my account I just wanted it for internet and when the first payment came they charged me for a promotion they had at the time with cable, one cell phone service and internet so I went back to let them know they over charged and "Joselyn" again told me I couldn't get a refund but they would discount 25$ until August well I checked my bank account and nope they didn't discount anything I went back she helped but now I continue to check my account and they haven't discounted anything and I went back they told me that I could've gotten my money back to call a different number which I did they told me they couldn't do anything read more

Let me start with the Plus. Whenever I called their toll free number a representative would pick up in a couple of rings. That's the only plus I can give them. Internet and TV service is sub-par. I was promised 100Mbs internet speed. What they didn't say is, that was just their download speed. When I tested my internet speed I got 89Mbs download and 8Mbs upload. Unlike Frontier, their upload and download speeds are the same. TV DVR can only record 2 programs simultaneously and you can't watch a 3rd program live. Recorded programs can only be viewed on the TV connected to that DVR. Unlike Frontier, you can record 12 shows simultaneously and watch anywhere and they have Internet at 150Mbs. Cancelled my Spectrum account and went back to Frontier Fios. read more

I go into the store with all my equipment because the tv service is horrible, if one box is working I guarantee you the next box in the other room won't be. The African American lady working the front was extremely slow. There had to be about 4 people in the store in front of my yet i was stuck in there for over an hour. She literally had long drawn out conversations with the customers with no urgency to get to the others. When I finally turn in my equipment I'm handed a basic receipt that doesn't really indicate what I turned in or the fact that I canceled service. Today I receive a bill with two months past due of the services that I canceled. I call and tell them I canceled a long time ago and they are saying no one at the office notified them, then they ask me when will I turn in the equipment. At this point I'm so agitated because I spend so long in that office to turn in the equipment and the lady who was taking her sweet time didn't even do her job right. I'm trying to figure out the direct number to the store to speak to the manager because the service that was provided to me was atrocious read more

First, and foremost I want to recognize employee "Anthony", at University Parkway, San Bdno, CA. On 12/20/22, Thursday, I entered the store I felt like I was at a cemetery,(Their were 5 employees. One was sitting in a chair behind the front desk on his cellphone. Later he got up and left) until Anthony greeted me with a warm welcome, "Welcome to Spectrum how can I help you." It's really unfortunate, "Excellence" is far and in between with customer relations except with Anthony. He really worked hard and had an abundance of patience for correcting and explaining the unauthorized changes made on my account. The beauty of it all Anthony verified the information he provided with another employee, "Andrew", to ensure the changes he made was correct. I loved that TEAMWORK! Thank you very much Andrew for NOT having an attitude. Only Humbleness, and Integrity like Anthony.. Anthony and Andrew both of you get a 5 Star Review. I wish I could give you a billion for your Excellent Customer Relations. Supervisor, Stephanie appeared to be busy at the front on the computer. I wanted to make sure she was aware of how much I appreciated Anthony and Andrew customer relations. She was very kind. I noticed another employee, "Debra", ( I thought was a customer) until customers walked in and she said, "Welcome to Spectrum how can I help you." She was professional and respectful like Anthony, Andrew, Debra and Supervisor Stephanie. There was another employee, "Joselyn", who came from the back with a horrible attitude. She stood right next to Anthony and NEVER said, "Hello". I was talking to her and she coldly removed one of her earbuds from her ear, looked directly in my eyes and said, "Did you say something". If that wasn't an insult? I ignored the insult, and she put her white earbud back in her ear. Absolutely, no customer relations, and that was extremely disappointing. At first, I was going to give a 1star review because of her disrespectful behavior. I came back across the street because, Anthony, Andrew, Stephanie and Debra showed up and showed out with making the atmosphere feel positive and not like a cemetery when I first entered. Joselyn, I'm lost for words because I know you didn't have that coldness when you interviewed for the position. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. It is definitely NOT fair to the other employees. Overall, thank you Anthony, Andrew, Stephanie, and Debra for your Kindness!! Anthony, Andrew and Debra. I got the service with Spectrum on July 22,2020 had trumble from the begging, not getting the channels I paid for . That took a week to fix. Had 2 technician come out because I had No service on phone. Then became no service on internet, then went to this store on 8-7-20 the manger couldnt help me with the internet either- she advice me to go to AT &T to help me even if I No longer have there service, but have Spectrum. I should have ask the Hispanic man for help because he seem to have more knowledge of Spectrum. Came home, call again to get help. Finally called a friend to drive all the way 20 min on fwy to help me. She did . I finally got my emails on cell phone and on computers. Plus she fix the internet also . So inconvenience I wasn't able to use my computer for two weeks and I work from my home on that computer and I couldn't use my fax machine this is so frustrating I almost lost my job 2 weeks and no pay. On 8-21-20 called again because I had No TV in the how house. They called me back and said power shortage and it won't go back on until 8:30 to 9 p.m.today 8-22-20 called in morning because I was watching TV, and it went out again. Spend my whole morning and afternoon with Spectrum talking a total of 6 people. Nothing was solved. The technician that came out to our house was great no problem helped a lot but the people I spoke to over the phone not good not happy not satisfied oh they were going to give me $20 credit for the trouble that I've been going through with no service for me starting the service that was a slap in the face it seemed like it didn't matter to them about customer service because who is it going to reach to I spoke to Nicole cross Chelsea in Dillon and I forgot the other person's name today but as long as I can't reach the company because I'm far away don't have the phone number to call them or anyting I can't I don't even have a last name for these people I spoke to but it isn't this is terrible this is how you deal with customer service is not good not good for business I don't recommend anybody getting this service I only had it for a month and I had all these issues and they just blow it off like about your problem I hope Spectrum looks under customer service much better or they're going to lose a lot of people they say the growing but I have nothing but complaints from Neighbors that I'm finding out now which I wish I found out before I even started the system with Spectrum that they're not happy with the company either I do hope the company reads this and other customers speak out and do reviews so maybe that you have better customer service I thank you for everyone who reads this and follows up an action as well as I did read more

I give Charter one star only because I have to give it something. They lack any integrity or ethics. They are the bait and switch scam artists of the century. FIRST, I have been subjected to their predatory phone calls on a near daily basis "offering" me phone service. They attempt to appeal to my being female as a reason for getting said service. I need to protect my family in case cell service is out. When I say I have no intention to get phone service, the pusher decides to say, "Well, when you decide you care enough about your family's safety, give us a call." The audacity, quite frankly, they cannot offer "safety" if their lives depended on it. The phone service is dependent on the Internet and cable connection which is ALWAYS OUT. They offer the opportunity to use your iPad and smartphone to schedule shows on your DVR when you aren't home. The only catch is, they don't offer the cable box that they boast about in their commercials. Bait and switch. Get you to go for their service because of the bells and whistles they advertise in their commercials in your area, THEN, when you attempt to use that service, you are told it's not available in THE LARGEST ENTERTAINMENT MARKET IN THE USA. Really?! And...the search feature is absurd. When I want to watch Star Wars for example, I can't just type in S-T-A-R to narrow the search. I have to select S. Then scroll through literally hundreds of shows starting with S in alphabetical order until I find it. Then, I can attempt to select it, HOWEVER, there is no telling what time it's for, what date it airs. Or which channel the HD or the basic channel. Didn't know how many shows start with S in English, Spanish, Armenian, and Korean in Los Angeles!! Since then, I haven't turned on the box. I am quitting my abusive "relationship" with this sorry excuse for a company after less than a month because of its unethical business practices, and lack of any integrity. read more

I went in today to pay my Wi-Fi bill. She took my ID, debit card and my statement. She ran the card and handed me back ID and everything else along with the receipt. I happened to glance at the receipt and noticed there was a balance on it and I don't have a balance so she said let me check your account one more time and maybe you do. Oh I charge the wrong account. I'll just void that out and charge your account. So we went through the process all over again and I left. Went to my car and checked my bank statement online and it showed a double charge. I went back in and three of them were analyzing her error. They made me wait 3 to 5 minutes even know there wasn't any other customers ahead of me and I show them my statement and they said yes we know but we voided it. I said that means 3 to 4 days before the money goes back into my account. And she agreed but she never told me that when I left the first time. I never raised my voice or had abusive language even know this took 20 minutes total. So I'm walking out not happy but happy that it's all done and then, I hear a Sarcastic "have a nice day" from the lady on her left that was trying to help her figure it out. I turned around and she was giving me a glare that made me feel like this was my fault and I didn't apologize for it. I wonder why they only have a one and a half star rating and they're making any effort to get that upgraded. I've been in retail for 30 years. WOW! read more

Be cautious about hidden fees! I went into this office (on University parkway) seeking for internet and cable services for my mothers new home and Leslie who works at this office told me my monthly service would be $59.99 with and additional $7.99 for TV receiver. I got my billing statement today and it's a monthly service fee of $92.67! I went into the office to speak to her and she claims that she told me about about all hidden fees, which is a lie! She had told me it would be $59.99 plus tax every month. Instead of apologizing and owning up to not telling about the hidden fees, she went on to say "well if you are not happy with the total fees, just come back in and bring all the equipment to cancel!" This is not the response that anyone customer would like to here. I've worked in customer service as a business manager and this is by far, not okay! I hope that my experience can alert future spectrum customers to be cautious and ask about all hidden fees prior to initiating service. By the way, I also have spectrum service st my own house and you would have thought I would have received better information and customer service because I have been with them many years. This is so sad and upsetting! read more

I had charter for several years with no problem. I decided to upgrade my boxes and the technician came to my home installed the new boxes and took the old ones. After that I started getting fraudulent charges on my account-charges for movies I never ordered-when I called to figure out what was happening it turns out that their technician never returned the old boxes. I called, wrote letters, went to their office several times with no help from charter. I cancelled my services due to charter not being able to assist me with the lies and corruption from their employee and now 3 years later I get a notice from a collection agency. I got the bundle service for all three, and they told me they were waiving the installation fee as well as the one time fee for the router. And voila! When I got my first bill, I noticed a charge that I didn't authorize. When I called, they were adamant that they NEVER waive the charge for the router for their customers. I had to fight every step of the way to get to their manager who repeated the same thing. I wasn't going to give up because I knew what they initially told me about waiving the fee. I asked the manager to check the recording of my conversation with the sales rep who told me about waiving the fee. He said he could, but tried to make me give up by telling me to pay half of the fee and get it over with because "it would take a long time to check the recording of the phone call." I said "Go ahead and check it because I know what they told me. I can wait." Then and only then, he agreed to remove that charge from my bill. I can easily see how people would just give in because that phone call was so stressful!!!! It shouldn't be like this. You expect that they would honor the promises they make. I am staying with Charter only because that is pretty much the only option I have. Otherwise I would have dumped them in a heartbeat after that experience! read more

I was just there to return some equipment for my old account. I had just opened an account the week before I went in there so I knew the promotions and prices and the way things go. So I go in and this newly married couple, like 22 years old, was in there trying to order a package for $60. The lady added the router and DVR box then said $71 dollars. They looked kind of worried but agreed. She said something real quickly about taxes and fees and moved on. She didn't tell them the taxes and fees for their service would be about $18 or anything about the final price. Then she tells them that installation will be $50 but they could do it themselves. They chose to do it themselves and she provided a page of instructions. First of all, installation is free with that package AND she didn't ask anything about if there were cable wires in the apartment already for them to be able to hook things up to. Even if there were wires with previous tenants doesn't mean they're still there. My complex removes them every time someone moves out... Soooo how are they supposed to install anything with no wires? Then she says they have to pay a 1 time $10 fee for wifi, plus the $5 a month for the router. No one even mentioned charging me for that. I just think it's messed up that this lady didn't inform them of the final monthly price, when I know they can do that because they gave me the exact monthly price before I ordered... And these kids looked like $71 will be a stretch and don't even know it's about to be $90 and sent them home with a ton of shit to install themselves when she never asked about wires and never offered them the free installation that comes with that package (I looked online right after just to make sure.) She never even said anything about the promotional price ending after 1 or 2 years. Poor kids probably went home and plugged everything in to the wall and didn't understand why nothing would work.
