We have been a customer since 2009 and relocated to California a week ago. The associate that help from the spectrum plano store said she would transfer service with our existing equipment said that we could include internet and phone . After further discussion with the service tech and 3 hours later we had to spend an additional $300.00 and turn in spectrums equipment to our local store in California our associate mention we would have been better off canceling and starting a new service here. Very disappointing that we were lied too. read more

They say they are sales people. They are cashiers. They tell you they don't know anything cannot do anything all they want is to rush you out the door even after the online people told you tongo back to the store where you bought the two phones 3 years ago. Wellness time for a new phone and these dummies just wanted me out of the store after patiently waiting for 20 minutes in line and only having two questions to ask about my device and the billing . Two easily answered questions. But Noooooo they were too busy trying to get me out of the store yet they " Sales" people. Couldn't sell toilet paper to a person with diarrhea. No smile no welcome in no have a nice day when I left nothing but pure ignorance and xenophobia. Im done with Spectrum. One month of payment to go and I'm out F**k Spectrum. I will buy direct. read more

Two stars is about right for Spectrum, a company 100% dedicated to the bare minimum customer service - a luxury a company enjoys when there are so few competitors. So, after having to install their faulty modem myself, I had to return it to one of their location, eg this one. Sweet baby Jesus the way these folks interface with customers could be improved. read more

Stopped to ask ask a question abt service Chris was very helpful and friendly. Came back to return equipment and Kevin was great talking me through the process and updating my account. 10 out of 10 for both of them and fast easy changes to my account. read more

We first got rid of their internet due to poor signal and constant outages and replaced it with far superior AT&T fiber. Due to that, we were not able to get many channels through their cable TV service (mostly local channels) due to "security" limitations. After changing internet providers, we had to change our password every 2-3 weeks in order to continue having access to our cable. Finally cut the cord and now only pay an extra $8 / month through Hulu Plus to get all of our local channels plus get all the same wanted cable channels we gave up through Spectrum (that we were paying $155/month). This overall has saved us money and we get far better reception and service - shocked that they are still in business. read more

Always has good experience there. Thanks those customer service, they are knowledge, friendly, willing to help, and never disappoint. Will recommend to other people. read more

Lost internet after storm. Noticed indication of power surge on some kitchen appliances. Discussed problem with customer service in Florida. Conclusion is power surge took out router. They set one to be picked up by me first thing in morning. The power surge did not bother the modem. However TV is out tonight. read more

Recently, I've noticed a decline in customer service quality almost everywhere but specially technology companies and spectrum in particular , and it became particularly apparent during my latest visit to the spectrum store. The online services were same as visiting the store, but unfortunately, the in-person experience mirrored the online frustration. It seems there might be a broader corporate culture issue affecting customer interactions across the spectrum. I was hoping for a better experience, especially with essential services like internet access. During my visit, I interacted with an agent named Francisco, whose service attitude was pathetic and later I found that he was in rush to go home - read more

Please do not use specturm, the price maybe reasonable but internet speed is horrible. keep getting disconnet every 5 mins. And things are getting worse. having outage every 2 weeks with no explanation. read more

Continue to increase prices without notice. Started at $50 a month canceling now at $87 a month. I found out they pay apartments to only allow their services and ban any other company so they can charge whatever they want. They have a monopoly in Apartments in Dallas. This should be illegal and probably is. read more

I had great service from Cameron at the sprectrum store in Plano. I needed additional dvr's for the house...he greeted me promptly and took care of my request for the additional dvr's. A+ service!! read more

I've called spectrum every month since January to make sure my acct is canceled and they keep billing me EVEN though I am assured it is closed. We don't even use spectrum for any service and haven't since December 2022! Once again I'm receiving an email that my supposed closed acct is being billed. They have not credited me either. I am unable to walk into a store to discuss so I have to call and it takes an hour out of my day. Horrible, horrible!! I will never ever recommend them. read more

Spectrum has to be the WORST company when it comes to internet! Intermittent internet on a daily basis... I work from home and it makes no sense that my bill is paid in full every month and I'm not getting the service I'm paying for. The only reason I'm still with Spectrum is because it's the only option for internet/cable at my apartment complex. I'm moving as soon as possible. Spectrum is going to have me unemployed with this unstable internet. The 1 star is because I'm forced to give it at least 1! Then they keep sending emails for phone service!!! NO I'll communicate via Morse code, fire signals or drums before letting Spectrum be my cellular provider. I can't depend on their internet and can't imagine relying on their cellular service. Ridiculous! read more

Spectrum increased my bill! Obviously can not afford the increase so I called to terminate service, was on hold for 3 hours and after communicating my displeasures. The rep continued to try and re-sell me. I finally received a cancellation number. The rep did not inform me Spectrum does not prorate billing cycle if I terminate in middle of cycle. So of course after seeing the full amount draft from my account, I call for the refund and a multi million dollar company bullied me into paying them for service not rendered. I now have to pay my current internet service and spectrum. I have to feed my children scraps until my next payday. THanks Spectrum read more

I was hesitant about going to this store with so many negative reviews. Don't know if all those are from Karen's or not. My experience couldn't have been batter. Wonderful service. Salesman was very patient in answering all my questions. Customer Service is not dead. read more

Please be aware of terms and conditions for services. I switched back to Verizon due to poor cell service just 7 days in to my billing cycle. I was told by the in store agent I would get a partial refund for remainder of non-used services. After 30 days with no refund I called customer service to learn in the terms and conditions it states no refund after cancellation regardless of time. I had no idea a multi-billion dollar company needed my $30.00. Any company who doesn't refund for service NOT rendered is a scam. I already have to deal with internet outages every month for last 6 months due to "upgraded services in my area" and a tech at my home almost monthly. It's especially bad when the tech shows up saying" ma'am the signal issue is happening again"! The cheap phone service is not worth it. read more

This is for internet only. I had ATT internet. The fastest service I could get was 50MB because the lines are old and under ground and ATT probably doesn't want to go to the expense of replacing them. I had Spectrum internet 200MB installed about 2 weeks ago. So far the service has been outstanding. No more buffering when watching Disney or Netflix. I did have to replace their router with my own as you can't separate the 2.4Khz and 5Khz bands on their routers. But they do give me a $5 a month discount for not using their router. What a deal read more

I'm laughing because they already have a one star rating. You would think they would work to change their service. In 2020, I think I lost three weeks of service because of slow response and failure to fix the problems on the first or second visits. That's not why I'm here. My beef is I can't even delete a series off the DVR. Imagine, I don't want to watch anymore, but they keep on recording eating up space. PLUS, THE NEW CABLE BOX SUCKS TOO. read more

I am just upset that they decided to help everyone else that walked in after me, before helping me. Is it because I am younger? I don't know. Go to any other location if you look under 30 AT ALL COSTS, or they will take up all the years left in your youth while you wait for help. I feel my body withering away. I think I just found my first gray hair whilst waiting for assistance. Maybe I should look in to a retirement plan while I wait. read more

Pretty good. Communication could be better but customer service is ALWAYS nice and ALWAYS helpful.

They came to install the internet and tv. Technician asked who was my internet provider and I told him Frontier. He told me "then you don't need that Verizon box" and proceeded on splicing the wires. But bc they couldn't place a cable thru the attic (not accessible) he told me they couldn't install the tv. Because I "bundle" I told him to cancel the installation but make sure my internet was connected. He assured me it was all returned back BUT it wasn't. Called them and they told me to call Frontier. Called frontier and they told me to check box outside and that's when I discovered the wires had been cut!! The spectrum fool didn't realized Frontier owns Verizon !! That happened on Saturday and today Monday hopefully frontier will put the internet back on!! Spectrum should have fixed this!! Highly DO NOT recommend them!!!!! They should have fixed the problem but I had to wait til Monday for frontier to come out and undo what mess spectrum left me read more

They are a terrible company. I called tonight to just add cable service to my already existing Internet plan. I was excited about the idea of having them as my cable service provider, as I have been with Dish for over four years and have not enjoyed the service as of late. However, I am extremely upset by the situation that has just arisen. I checked my email and found that I am going to pay over $300 for two little goofy boxes. I called in to ask questions about it, and I was told that I had set up cable and phone service with my already pre-existing Internet bill making it a bundle package. I did not ask for anything but cable services. I told the customer service rep to cancel the whole thing. It took 42 minutes to get that taken care of. In the middle of the call she says that because I'm canceling the other services that my internet bill will actually go up because I'm no longer bundling it. Remember, I just did this tonight. I told her I'm shopping for a new service provider. I will be shopping for a new provider tomorrow. read more
