I went from white to cream color and have to coat each wall 3 times!! When I complained about it to the owner he said I wasn't stirring the paint enough and that I should bring each bucket back to have them shake them every time I was going to use the paint.. unheard of!! I'm stirring the paint with a drill stir and that should be enough. They sell cheap but as the saying goes.. lo barato sale carro!! Oh yeah and they also told me that the paint is Sherwin Williams paint with their own label on it because Shewin Williams doesn't let them sell it with their label.. typical Hialeah BS!!

This week I had a bad experience in the South Beach FL Paint Spot Store on Alton Road. The employee who works in the store is lazy. He sits behind the counter talking on the phone to his buddies in Spanish, in a completely different room from the sample cards and entrance door. We will be painting our renovated vacation condo soon and I've been into the store to select paint chips several times. Never once has this employee approached to ask if help was needed. The customer must walk into the next room and directly ask for help. This week I bought samples. I gave a hand written list of 6 sample paint colors to the employee. The list included the color name, # of the 7 color chip card & corresponding paint color #. When I opened the box of samples at home, there were 2 extra cans of a mysterious color #124, a bright orange, for which I had been charged. Obviously, the employee had confused the 7 color sample card# with the paint color #, a reasonable error. I returned to the store with the two sample cans of paint to enquire if they could be exchanged for something else. The employee told me absolutely not, and that all customers know to not to write down the number of the 7 color sample card. I am so angry, I'm thinking of switching to Ball & Farrow brand to paint our new vacation condo. I will be purchasing my paint brushes and paint accessories at a hardware store, rather than Benjamin Moore. I thought Yelp would want to know about this experience.

There's something about this place that makes me not want to give them my money. First off, whenever I go in there no one greets me or asks me if I need help. Today in the paint chip section, the AC wasn't on (the temperature is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit), and the lights weren't either - which makes it hard to choose paint colors. If being treated like a valued customer matters to you, I'd suggest you try another place.
