Horrible service. Not recommend. Run around phone calls and stopping at a local store. Still no help. Ended up canceling everything.

This place is the worst from internet to mobile. The internet was ALWAYS going out the mobile customer service was a nightmare with every person telling you something different and God forbid you try to unlock your paid for phone to go to a different carrier. Gutter customer service. You guys charge thru the nose but can't be kind to people who are paying out so much money. The lady with the two tone hair dye lied to me. Then she called her supervisor over to lie to me too. As soon as I got home I called to Spectrum who told me absolutely you could have kept your number without the box, as you two paid employees treat me like I'm an idiot. She said all I had to do was forward my calls and no box was needed. Too bad the chick disconnected my phone oh well. I do know i have been with charter 11 years here and another 10 years at my previous address, but after 21 years of loyalty to you I'm divorcing you permanently out of my life. Keep your non trained, rude and arrogant employees to yourself; they did a great job in chasing away a customer for life. read more

I've been with the for 18 years due it being a monopoly in my town. Was 100mbs for 29.95 then went up to 59.95 and speeds where slower, I just out up with it, till I couldn't. Now they're rasing it again nope done with them. They spam call you like you owe them your life when only 59.95 which idc care to pay for shifty service. read more

If I could give them 1/2 a star that would still be high. Don't use Specturm! They start you out at $49. per month then next thing you know you are at $92.00 Per month for just internet. Choose another provider.Anything is better, lots of outages, and then they want the customer to troubleshoot instead of checking the system from their side! Hunter communication is in Klamath Falls and seems to be doing great.! Oh by the way if you want to disconnect please be sure to move on your end of billing date, they do not pro-rate your service!!! The local people are pretty good to deal with. Unfortunately, the people who we interact with on the toll free numbers are difficult at best. We tried numerous times to get a better/discounted deal on our internet service. They declined. Then when we called to modify our services and discontinue our internet, we were transferred to some very pushy and rude people. They told us lies in my opinion. Then we had to go to the older DVR system and they gave us "new" DVR boxes that are extremely loud and appear to be a boxed up used DVR with very loud cooling fans. On top of that, the remote controls that they gave us WILL NOT FULLY OPERATE THE DVR. I am not kidding in the least! Such a terrible company. Unfortunately, they hold a monopoly in our geographic area. 0/10. Do not recommend! read more

Our experience with Spectrum has been nothing but a total nightmare. Apparently anybody who gets your information can order any product on your account. Once you realize there is something wrong with your account, if you try to contact them to get it all worked out, they will give you the runaround, they will completely stress you out, they will document some things while not documenting others, and they will flat out lie. You are expected to pay for it no matter how much that product costs, and you and the entire universe will be blamed for the entire situation. But Spectrum will not hold up to their end of the problem. The whole time we have talked to Spectrum, we have gotten different stories. Depending on who you speak with you will get different responses. Some of the representatives are willing to work with you but on the same phone call if you get another representative they will tell you a completely different story. They do not document efficiently. They do not document accurately. And they will flat out lie in their documentation. They do not provide you with everything you need when you are trying to follow their instructions and when you do follow their instructions to the t, then you are the one that is at fault if anything goes wrong. They boast having good connection rates on the internet and I can testify that half the time their internet doesn't even work. Or if it works it is beyond laggy. My recommendation is to avoid Spectrum at all costs. The drama and hassle is just not worth rates that you can find better elsewhere, anyway. read more

I have been with this company for almost two years now and was happy with them up to now. I called in January to downgrade to lower package and instead of doing that, they Added another package with all the extras. I called twice to explain to them that I called in and told them that my husband was laid off and so we had to downgrade and they said that there was Nothing they could do to help and would Not give me any credit (I got charged $250 too much!). Worse off, I was getting charged for HBO, Cinemax and more BUT the channels were blocked on my tv!! Am searching for a new company as we speak! Oh yea, and Don't Even go into their business because the employees are rude also! read more

How is it that in 2020, with Spectrum, to watch recorded shows in different rooms you have to have a DVR in each room ($20/month). AT&T and Comcast (Xfinity) changed to only needing 1 DVR for the whole house years ago. Catch up Spectrum! read more

Customer service was excellent and very professional though I waited for over an hour to return and cancel my service. The first person I spoke with took care of everything she was able to though I had to wait for her supervisor to return the modem and the router. Note there was ONLY two customers in the store, I was one of the two customers. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I was transferred 4x, it took 48 min for them to tell me they couldn't help me. They are WAY over priced and despite what their commercials say, there are DEFINITELY hidden fees. DN NOT recommend!!! read more

We switched from Verizon to Spectrum for internet, TV, and mobile to save money. However, switching information and apps from our Verizon phones to the new Spectrum mobile phone took over two hours. Laura did what she could, but had difficulty getting phones to respond. I was hoping I could download movies I created, music, and pictures from my computer to the phone, but neither the phone nor the computer recognized each other. I tried linking the computer and phone, but without success. My wife's Verizon phone had a group app that was not downloaded to the Spectrum phone. Spectrum customer service said we had to enter the password which hadn't been used in 7 years and my wife couldn't remember it. I took my Spectrum phone and Computer into the Spectrum store today, but customer service was not helpful at all, saying they were not allowed to touch personal computers. Then, why sell phones to customers if they aren't compatible with computers? The phone I had 3 phones ago never had this problem and the only reason I switched was the speaker stopped working. The phones I purchased from Verizon had the same issue with being compatible with my computer. These new phones are not customer friendly and store associates are not helpful. read more

I have a "crackling noise" that people hear when I am talking to them on my cordless, wireless landline. I called and a Tech told me he would shut down my Internet to check it and call me back. Needless to say, he did that and did not call back. Did not fix the problem. Since then I've not had time to spend on the phone to talk to them again. Going online, all I could find was to reboot everything. Did that, still have problem. I think I need a serviceman to come out to check my lines but how to get to someone to even suggest that??? The Klamath Falls store is run by Liberal idiots. I went in to return my router and did not have a mask with me. After being in the store for 10 min Sean, asked if I had a mask which I said no. He then asked if I had one that I could get which I said no. They did not have one for me to use so he was excited to tell me that I needed to leave and I couldn't be in there without a mask. The only good employee, Kaitlin, asked me just to wait outside and I would be helped when it was my turn. I had no problem with waiting outside, so I did. When it came to my turn, Sean still refused to help me and started helping people that were after me. I confronted them on it and the manager, Jess, got involved. Not to help a customer do a quick drop off but to back Sean in their Liberal stance and even lie stating that I didn't sign in, which I did and then quickly turning that to oh, I thought you left. I told her, no you didn't I waited outside like I was asked to do. It took Kaitlin less than 2 minutes to come out, get my info and take back the router. I feel sorry that she has to work with 2 inept co-workers, one of which is he boss. If Spectrum wants to gain customers they should fire these 2 idiots and promote Kaitlin to manager. read more
