I made an appointment to exchange and upgrade my modem. Service was excellent and quick. Rachel was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable!! She made the transaction very simple. read more

Spectrum needs to fix their kaios machine so when can get in n get out quickly. I can see customer get upset for waiting to long. You got 4 windows and only 1 or 2 is open. We just want to pay our bill and leave .... not hang out wait. read more

Sadly Spectrum as a company is not what it seems. The location and the store is clean and friendly which I would rate a 4 star but sadly it's the company that makes me feel disillusioned. Bad enough that we don't have a choice in the matter because there is no other company that offers cable, so it's monopolized from the start. When you call the customer service people try to help but their system is screwed up, offering little comfort and help. Enough said so sad! read more

After properly discontinuing service one month prior to moving. Spectrum is continuing on sending me overdue bills. More than one year later. I've talked to them multiple times and they promise it'll never happen again. It still does. Getting past due bills when you don't even have an account with them for the past year, is not the happiest feeling in the world. Spectrum- please fix your process. read more

Spectrum - Television Service Providers Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

We had the problem resolved and they were very patient with us. That you for your excellent service .

I just want to come on here and say Janice was completely RUDE as hell and wouldn't let us swap out our internet modem and tried to scam us into having ANOTHER technician come out to our house to stare at our wiring that's already been done (btw charges $200 for this service). She was a huge B*tch and a LIAR. I don't recommend coming here to get any type of help since this is the type of customer service they provide here. Driving to the pearl city branch since they can't meet customer needs here! UPDATE: went to pearl city and they let us swap out our equipment! :) they were awesome, imagine not being able to be nice and not meet customer needs. Couldn't be them! *cough read more

not sure why this place has 2.5 stars. i made an appointment today to change out my modem because it decided to stop working. i was in and out so quick maybe 5 mins maximum. they were also very nice:) read more

Kiosk was down. Walked in one worker and 7 other customers waiting in line. 2 employees just talking to each other.. 5 min later 2 more come on to the floor but don't help anyone! Left 10 min later! read more

If you want to experience constant internet outages and subpar connection, then spectrum is the perfect internet service provider for you!

Spectrum runs a monopoly on internet on the island so they have no motivation to provide adequate internet service. I have been having internet issues for months (internet service cuts out multiple times per day requiring restarting the router). Although the service people are friendly they obviously can't or won't figure out a way to make it work properly. Meanwhile I'm attempting to work from home during COVID and constantly getting kicked off of online meetings, losing my progress on online work, etc. Nobody at this company cares about providing good service because they know they'll get your money either way. If you are having problems like me, file a complaint with the FCC and force them to change their ways. https://fairshake.com/charter-spectrum/file-a-complaint/ read more

The employees here work hard but this location is seriously under staffed. For a Saturday, only 2 employees and 17 people waiting and more added on a continuous basis. This is ridiculous. Waiting like this just to switch out old equipment. They should have an express line just for fast service like that . read more

So fun fact, if you have a question you can't actually contact this spectrum store. Wanna know if something is in stock? Sorry. Wanna know if they've changed their hours due to COVID-19? Sorry... they don't have a phone number you can call... a phone/internet/cable provider that doesn't have a local contact number...? So you can call their corporate line, and have them try and sell you cable or a cell phone plan?!?! Spectrum runs a monopoly and we deserve better. As for the location, there is adequate parking and air conditioning and it's fine. It would be nice to have a location here on the west side but who really cares about anyone living west of Kapolei? I would rate that with a few stars but the company is overpriced and I hate monopolies so one star only because zero isn't an option. read more

I cannot understand how Spectrum, with the amount of money they charge for services, NOT STAFF they're location appropriately, Kapolei??!!There was an area manager there as well and she did nothing but walk around the floor speaking with a few people??? NO SENSE OF URGENCY FROM ANYONE HERE!! I asked why only two agents? She explained, after shrugging her shoulders, that's just how it is, nicely of course. I could be wrong BUT, I've worked at places where when they are busy, District managers, Lost prevention managers, and yes, Area managers, heck, any manager in the establishment, unless they are clueless, jumps right in and takes the lines down. DO BETTER SPECTRUM!!! read more

With the reviews I had read before going to the Kapolei store was not very encouraging. I was very surprise to be greeted a good morning within five seconds on my arrival by a smiling and enthusiastic worker name Michelle. She ask what can I do for you. Gave her the reason for my visit. She immediately verified my information, took my DVR and issued me a new one. Within five minutes I was done. I ask Michelle how long has she worked for Spectrum. Michelle said she worked originally for Oceanic and has been a total of fifteen years. Michelle, you are a great asset to Spectrum I told her. The company should have more people like you. The Spectrum should hire you to train front line workers and especially the people working at the call center where they outsource all the call in. Mahalo Michelle for being an exception employee. read more

Worst customer service EVER!!! Waited over an hour just to exchange a broken dvr box and was still #11 on the list. Spectrum employee told me it was a 45min wait or sooner. Other customers that I was talking with also left after an hour wait. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!! read more

Me and my husband were interested in getting the new iPhone 11 Pro Max , unfortunately they didn't have any in stock at all. Right when we walked in we were helped right away by Li Li, she was super helpful and amazing! We went to spectrum at about 7pm , at that time their server or something was down so either way we couldn't be helpedd so we asked if other locations had the iPhone 11 Pro Max in stock, so she tried to reach out to their two other locations for us, though they couldn't do much a she was super informative on the plan since we wanted to switch to Spectrum Mobile from Verizon , which I'll say is amazing , they use the same tower as Verizon but I definitely think it's at a cheaper price. There was another lady that helped us I forgot her name though :( , she had straight hair and was helpful as well. I came in a second time because we were having problems with our modem and so I took it in to trade and went back to the Kapolei location and it was so simple! But that's probably because there was no one there lol, but it was a guy that had glasses and black hair I don't know his name either Nonetheless, these people are super attentive , definitely felt comfortable in asking questions ! Will come back if needed! read more

I just came back from a long morning at Spectrum (Kapolei Location). There are several things that need to be improved like MORE SERVICE AGENTS. (I heard they are hiring) Which is probably the reason why this location has a low overall rating but I am giving them 5 stars because of the excellent service I got from "Phillip". He took a very complicated situation and patiently answered all my questions. Also going above and beyond to complete the task. My recommendation is to go online ahead of time and make a reservation that will cut down your wait time and allow the service team to service you efficiently. FYI - I called Spectrum by phone ahead of time and prepped in advance info that I needed. I also called Spectrum on the phone while waiting my turn (I did not make a reservation so I anticipated the wait time). I appreciate the Kapolei location altogether, better than having to drive to Mililani. read more

Wtf! Your site says 8pm you close in kapolei!!! waste of time and gas! Me including 3 other customers was out side! and you have a sign 5:30 On a piece of paper on the door! You need fix your times online and not inconvenient people! read more

I just wanted to return the cable box. Drove to the address but it wasn't there. Drove round the whole area couldn't find it. Called, it's a call center and they have no idea! Finally they agreed to send me a box postage paid to return it. Sheesh. read more

I don't think these people know how to do their job. It's scary because they don't have a record of who's changing your account and who help(agent) that unknown person that day that your account was changed. read more

Spectrum's policy is they DO NOT prorate your bill, so be prepared to pay your full bill even after you return all your cable boxes and/or equipment. You will need to cancel services on your billing cycle date no matter the inconvenience to you. Even during this pandemic, there are no exceptions. read more

Vivian in Kapolei was so awesome in helping us. She made the switch and transition from our previous carrier to Spectrum so much easier. Clean facility, so glad this place is closer to home read more

Wanna shout out Dana, she was super helpful. Was running the store by herself today and was efficient fast and informative. I really appreciate her help, esp with my difficult self. Thank you thank you thank you. read more

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! 5 counters for 5 service representatives but only 2 reps working UNACCEPTABLE especially since i arrived at 5:30 PM. The way they do things there is VERY INEFFICIENT. Customers waiting way too long for simple things like exchanging equipment. If you walk-in and get stuck behind some one activating a phone, plan to wait for at least an hour. AND if someone with an appointment walks in 25 min EARLY for their scheduled appointment.. your getting bumped back even though you are next on the screen and there from 5:30. UNREAL!! I was told this location is a "Mobil Store"... so i guess that means don't go to that location if you want anything else done bc your gonna wait a while and you might not even be seen at all. read more

BEWARE - If you are on an old Oceanic Plan and are asked to migrate over to Spectrum in order to add service, make sure you ask how the migration will affect your existing cable channels. The salesperson said I needed to migrate my old Oceanic account because I wanted to add a home phone but they did NOT tell me I would LOOSE many channels that I used to have. In order to get back these channels I would have to pay way more! This complaint isn't necessarily for this store location but for the company in general. read more

I like this location in Kapolei. Plenty of parking and even though they were open for about a year, the place looks new. Everything looks clean and neat and all staff was wearing a mask. I came to return my equipment and I believe the person who helped me was Chris(hazel eyes I think ). He was so nice and even with a mask on, I could tell he was smiling. He was very cheerful and glad to help me and even went out of his way to check on my account since I was closing out my husbands account for the old place. Just great service and there was no line and we talked story and my experience was a great one. I will go out of my way to come here. read more

The wait time is ridiculous, been waiting for over an hour and I'm still 11th in line. Why is there only two people working in the weekend when it's so busy. The whole lobby is full of customers with no seating available. You have elderly and families waiting. This location is way understaffed. Might as well get more seating for 20+. read more

The Spectrum employee was a little unprofessional today when I asked to unlock my phone and I need to switch carriers. And, he wasn't really nice to me, he sounded cocky. He asked me why I'd want to switch and I said because Spectrum not able to provide phone service to my series 6 Apple Watch. So this is the reason why I'm writing this review. He responded to me and said, "why, will you be using your Apple Watch as a phone?" I said yes I am. I think his question was out-of-line. It's no ones business how I plan to utilize my Apple Watch. When I left the store, I was amazed of the treatment I got from this man. read more

Their prices are high and unfortunately we live in an area that only Spectrum services.

I went in yesterday just to get info anout my account, i wanted to switch to Verizon since their mobile phone is limited to 30 GB so i went in signed in then waited gor 1 1/2 hour, and just told they can't provide what i needed, instead of get into their system and get my account number and security code they just said i cant help you with that, or they could have said log in to your apps and its all there and you don't need to call customer service. I expect Spectrum to have somebody at the entrance and ask what customer needs instead of wasting tile waiting gor nothing. read more

So I just went in there to change my router and get a new one first off, not very welcoming they just tell you to sign in and that's it. Second manager just sit on his ass on his Apple Computer. (Brandon) is his name. And only helps if one of his employees can't figure something out. Next they have two employees, including the manager, so three helping one person. After manager just sit back down and goes back on computer. After hour and a half wait they finally call my name and takes five mins to do whatever I had to do. And in that hour and half the so called manager never acknowledged anyone waiting even if it only take a minute to help out. After that experience I need to think about changing my Internet. I would give 0 stars but it won't let me. read more

Get 4 employees 'working' but standing around. Said to sign in before they can help but still take forever staring at the wall doing nothing

Love it that this location is closer, very clean and open space room layout, very covid safe place, all wearing mask and all counters have protective plastic covering between the staff and other customers. The best part is I saved half off my cellphone bill and got a new phone too. The rep Mark was very courteous, never rushed me, he was patient about explains my new bill breakdown and how much I saved. At the end he took care of transferring all my data to new phone, and while I was still there he showed me that my old phone data was all deleted to protect my privacy as I was trading it in for a huge discount. read more
