I brought my PS5 in for repair and was advised that the specific issue would take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete. I was asked to pay $200 upfront, which I did. During the time the console was in their possession, several friends mentioned that my account appeared online and active in games on multiple occasions. I initially assumed this was part of the testing process to ensure the system was functioning properly. After nearly three weeks without any communication, I contacted the business for an update. At that point, I was informed that the console could not be repaired and, in fact, had not been repairable by the team from the beginning. I was told, specifically, that "it is repairable but not repairable by us." It's a little frustrating that I was not informed of this and instead had to call to discover that the repair could not be completed. Additionally, the fact that the system appeared to be actively used during this time raises serious concerns about how my PS5 was handled. While I attempted to remain understanding, I requested a refund of the $200 payment. Although a refund was agreed to, I was informed that $50 would be deducted for "time." Given that the repair was not completed and I was not notified promptly, I am unclear what service this charge reflects. I was told the refund would be processed within two weeks. After nearly three weeks without receiving it, I called again and was advised that my number would be forwarded to a manager, who would contact me within 1-3 business days. Please go somewhere else. Service great, speed great, price is ok, quality of repair NOT GOOD. I repaired with them twice. First time I cracked my screen I went to them and spent a little over $300 and signed up for their membership. About two weeks later I crack my phone screen again, I had the membership but my phone was not covered because it hadn't been 30 days since signing up, which absolutely sucks btw since I paid for the membership already. So I come back for my second repair and had to pay another $272 for this repair (even with the membership). The very next day I accidentally drop my phone from a short distance, about 1 foot and the phone screen became completely unresponsive again. In summary, the screen is not strong at all. I had a phone case on it too. There's this weird grainy texture over the screen they use and a dark tint. The quality overall is bad. It also protrudes out of your phone like it doesn't fit. This time, I repaired with another place and the screen is faster, clearer, has no tint, and it perfectly fits my phone. It was more expensive but there's a clear difference in quality. After dropping my gaming laptop with the charger still plugged in, the charger battery and the port itself on the laptop broke. Ordered a new charger on Amazon only to find out I broke the actual port on the laptop. Brought my laptop here was told it would take 2 weeks for a part to be ordered and received for them to be able to fix it and said it would be done before Christmas. It took a little over 3 weeks for it to be fixed. The communication and service could've been better. Tried to call a few times for a status and the phone went to voicemail. After being told it was fixed and ready to be picked up, went there to pick it up and person up front didn't even give a explanation on what was done to the laptop and how the outcome turned out. He just handed the laptop and that was it. Of course we knew it was fixed but the customer service wasn't all there, didn't greet us either. I would give it a negative star if given the chance. I had a work tablet that had a crack that needed replacing. I made an appointment came in and made it perfectly clear that all I needed was a screen replacement. I was told by the girl rep that it would take a couple of weeks and would cost approx $209. They required me to pay up front. they did offer me some kind of monthly service deal for a discount. Im so glad I didnt i could only imagine the hard time they would of given me to cancel it after my ordeal. In any case . I asked "will this $209 be the full price or will I be charged additional later?" I was told specifically "no that was it". So I went ahead and paid the $209. Left my tablet and went on my way. To my dismay I get a phone call a day or two later and was told the part was going to cost an additional $400-$600 for the screen replacement!!. I didnt even bother to bring up the fact that I was previously told the up front cost I already paid would cover for the whole service. If I knew this ahead of time I would of declined paying up front and the service all together. At this point I felt that I was deceived into paying $209 up front only to be charged more without properly disclosing to me the extra cost. But wait it doesnt stop there! I then asked well if I want to decline the service will I get my money back. I said all you did was made some phone calls to find out the cost of a replacement screen. The girl over the phone said yes you would get a full refund . I then show up to the shop already feeling like a total waste of time expecting to get my refund. Only to be told "we keep $100 for the labor" I then proceed to communicate that "you guys didnt do anything but call up for pricing on a new screen!, no labor was actually done!" The guy at the counter just said with no care.. well thats just the cost for us taking in the tablet " I mean wtf!! you couldnt disclose that at the very beginning!. So now I feel totally deceived and ripped off for nothing!. I am still waiting on my partial refund and was told it may take a few weeks. I mean damn what a way to rub salt on the wound!! What a horrible way to do business!! not only was this a total waste of time but also a waste of money!! Misleading Sales Tactics, Unauthorized Repairs & Rude Management I brought my iPad to uBreakiFix in Kapolei for repair, expecting honesty and professionalism. I was told they would contact me first if there were any repair charges and only proceed if I agreed. That was not the case. They went ahead and did repairs without my permission and then charged me for it without my consent. I was also misled into purchasing an additional service after being told it would bring my overall cost down -- which was not true. On top of that, the managers were very rude and made me feel like I had no choice but to take back an iPad that still wasn't working, but now had a fixed screen. I made it clear I would never agree to fix the screen if I knew I would also have to pay the high cost to repair the problem under the screen. For what they charged, I could have just bought a brand new iPad. They promised my refund would be processed promptly, but I've been waiting far beyond a reasonable timeframe. I've given them more than enough time to make things right, yet I'm still left without my money and without any proactive updates. Every follow-up was met with vague excuses and no clear resolution. This is not how a repair shop should operate, especially when customers are trusting them with expensive devices and their hard-earned money. I'll be giving them until Friday to process my refund in full before escalating this matter to the Better Business Bureau. Do not go to this establishment. I brought my laptop in here July 17th for a screen replacement they said they could do. My laptop had lines going down it with no other physical damage. After talking me into getting the Asurion home + plan they sent me my invoice the 21st and I paid in full the 22nd of July. I than call 3 weeks later to get status of laptop and they said I didn't pay my invoice. I immediately give them the invoice info and they have me on hold for quite some time and than apologize and say they didn't see it on their end. They than proceed to tell me that they would try and get piece in quickly to get fixed and gave me a new date. I informed them that my job was relocating me and gave them the date I needed it by which was me leaving August 19th. I called many times with no one answering the line and had to continue with my PCS plans as I had to relocate for military. After setteling in September 22nd I flew back to Hawaii to and called to try and get a status with no answer. On the 23rd I called 3 times with no answer and than they finally called me back telling me my laptop was ready for pickup. I tell them I'm on my way get there within 10 minutes and the man hands me my laptop, I say thank you and proceed for lunch. A couple minutes into my drive away, they call me and I form me ON THE PHONE, after I left the shop that my laptop was not fixed and they needed to offer me a refund. I asked multiple times what he meant as I was told it was good to go and at no time did they give me any update on it not being able to be fixed. the man tried to refund me without giving me any type of paper and I demanded for the notes and reciept for the refund. Two men came up and were trying to figure out how to print it etc and typing stuff on the computer. After they gave it to me I left disgusted with everything that just happened. I went back to hotel and tried to cool down before cause I wanted to go back and give them my thoughts. Before giving them my laptop, it worked perfectly on the docking station as that's how I was working on it when the lines happened. When I flew back home, I gave it a through look and noticed the screen had a slight crack on it, screen was disgraced and not fully put together and popping out as well as the sides looked like it was picked and scratched fo seperate the screen. Immediately I look at the notes and noticed the discrepancy they put in the note saying screen was good and than later added Screen was cracked. At no point did I have any type of crack before giving it to them. This made me even more furious. For 2 1/2 months I've been trying to find places to do screen replacements to fix this issue they caused but due to the area that I moved to there are none available so now I am stuck with a broken laptop that has all my personal files on it, and I can't use the dock station to even get on it. I'm having a really hard time trying to get in contact with the corporate because this is absolutely unacceptable. The lack of professionalism, integrity, and way they treat customers speaks volumes to my rating which should really be 0 stars. I informed them multiple times that I needed it fixed before my PCS because I am deploying soon and will not be able to use my work laptop for personal use and instead of being honest, they lead me in for weeks, wasted time where I could of taken it somewhere else to have it fixed and now has me out of a laptop that has all my files I need on it. Wife took our iPad in to be serviced that we haven't been able to use for about a few months. One of the kids broke off the usb inside the port. We tried everything to get it out. When I gave her my son's iPhone SE that I suspected had a bad port (expecting to pay at least 100 bucks), she looked at it and said she thinks it just may be dirty (I had tried to clean it... honest!). I went to the store to get my iPad charging issue fix and they told me it should be a quick repair. I paid the minimum amount that they charge to get it in queue. After few days, i received a call from them telling me that they tried everything and to fix my iPad but they were unsuccessful. So, I'm like ok. I told the lady that i will be picking up my broken device and she said it will be ready for pickup in couple hours. When I arrived at the store to claim my broken iPad, they told me that they can't find the battery that they took off and worst part is they still charge me $70+ for not fixing my iPad. After a year, I finally found a place that can fix my iPad, so my brother took it there. The technician opened my iPad and it was missing several part and not only the battery. No flex cable, screws, face id sensor, charging port, broken screen(switched) and other connectors were missing. "He said this has been scavenged already lol!" Second visit here with my parents and upon reading other low reviews, I see we all have the same problem with the lady up front. The first time, apparently upon entrance, she immediately gave my mom and sister a difficult time and was already rude. They eventually got her phone fixed but couldn't wait to finally never have to deal with that lady again. By an unlucky chance, we eventually had to come here once more. Same woman, but I didn't catch her name, the second time we went in around 12:30ish. We were there for nearly an hour because she kept going around in circles. She said my parents didn't have an appointment (we made one at Verizon before we got there) which eventually led to my parents calling Verizon's customer service. The guy said on their end, we DID have an appointment but the lady (without really checking her computer) kept insisting we weren't on the list. After almost an hour of going back and forth, the guy on the phone finally said "Let me speak to her." That's when our name "miraculously" popped up on her screen and she says "Oh NOW I see it." Obviously my parents were very frustrated with her lack of help upon entry, as any other person would be in this situation! Anyway, I give this place 3 stars because this is the second time with a not so great experience with the lady up front, BUT the technician(s) in the back was able to fix our phones, so huge thanks to ONLY the workers in the back for doing their jobs in a caring manner. read more

I had really high hopes however the ending result left feeling exhausted. There was just too much run arounds happening with the staff here as well as the OWNER. I brought my laptop in due to a coffee spill and while I knew the chance of it working again were very slim, I feel like they made the chances even slimmer, if that makes sense. In June I brought my laptop in within a hour of the coffee spilling onto the keyboard of my laptop. My intial visit went very well, I left, and I even received a phone call regarding how it needed to be shipped to the mainland, in which I agreed to. A week passed and I didn't hear anything so I decided to give them a call. I reassured them I wasn't calling to rush them and stated I understood things take time, however I just wanted to have some type of update about my laptop. There was none. I got a "let me call the tech and I'll call back. I waited another week with no response or call back, so I decided to call back. Stated I was waiting for some type of response and with it being two weeks since my laptop was in their hands, there should've been some type of update. Again, I was turned away with the same response "let me call the tech and I'll call you back." And once again, NO CALL BACK. We go now three weeks of no communication and I am now calling to express my frustration and would like the manager to call me back with some type of update. Now the manager( who I didn't know was the owner as well) was very rude and unprofessional. When I stated I was upset and frustrated with their lack of communication and not following up on their end, she kept interrupting me saying "yeah yeah yeah" and then making sure she got her point across. After several times of me trying to explain, I asked her if I could speak to the owner because this was just not it. She clearly told me that she was the owner and despite my complaint with the company, nothing would happen. Ended the phone call with her saying I'd get an update... a week later, NOTHING. We are now a month into them having my laptop and I still got no response. I asked if the tech had gotten to it, if they opened it, do they know the status and they had zero answers except "he's busy." About a week - week and a half later, I get a phone call stating my laptop is irreparable and they are shipping it back. I asked why it took a month and A HALF for them to even open my computer because who knows, maybe if they opened it right away, it could've been fixed. It was immediately shipped back to the Kapolei store and I picked it up right away. When I picked it up, I called after asking if could get a copy of the notes to see what they worked on and the girl told me I should receive it in email. I call the next day because I still hadn't gotten it and it was the owner who stated that I wouldn't get the notes because the person who generates them, was out. I told her that was okay and I'd wait. She then calls 10 minutes after, saying I was no longer able to get it and she wouldn't give it to me. I contacted corps in which they sent me a bit of the notes and clearly showed my laptop was not touch until that day they called and said it was irreparable... a month and a half later. 10000000/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Came in with a dead Z Fold 4 inner screen, and was recommended to come here by my ATT rep, because it was covered by my Asurion insurance. So very glad I came to this one, because not only did they pretty much give me a brand new phone within a few hours, they staff help and service was excellent. Observing Brandon at the front of house servicing guests had great patience and kindness. Everyone comes into a repair shop with bad news and can never be in the best of moods, but he handles them with great care and make sure they get what they want, but the right and cheapest way to do it. Clear with all the levels of screen types and replacements, insurance coverage knowledge from all the different providers. Top Notch. And thank you to Aaron who fixed my phone so quickly. Okay, so I did something stupid a couple of weeks back and as a result of my stupidity I broke the screen on my Google Pixel 7 pro. Needless to say, I was heartbroken because, of course, I declined the insurance. Luckily, my husband found ubreakifix. They were the only ones, that we found, who could repair Google Pixel 7 pro phones AND who had parts in-house. I tried calling the vendors on Maui, but they either could not fix it or they did not have the parts. You can schedule an appointment on their website or you can give them a call. Either way, they are very responsive. They even send reminder texts regarding your appt. If you don't live on Oahu, you can mail them your broken phone via UPS. You can print out a prepaid shipping label from the website. Long story short, just so happened, we were going to be on Oahu for the weekend. I dropped off my phone at 1000am and picked it up around 230p, the same day. And the best part.... IT WAS FREE!!!! They repair tech told me that Google has one of the best warranties on their phones. Because this phone was new, I was within that one year warranty time frame and the repair was at no cost to me. Love these guys!! I took an advice for my friend. When I first got in the first time to drop off the device very rude customer service. Accusing me of taking pictures of the staff member and that I was to not use the picture. They were not able to fix the device and the device had to be replaced. I went to go pick up the data stick for the device. People behind the counter was not sure where the device data was and charged $20 to get the device that was under insurance. Called back to tell me to come back and get my money. They seems very knowledgeable out of how to use their own computer system. Although my friends device was replaced, that was positive. We had took my dad's iPad in to do a simple fix of his screen after his passing. Because this was something he wanted to pass to his granddaughter who was his world. And IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. Not only they took such a long time. They even told us that they had to replace the home button because it was broken. When in fact it wasn't broken because that's how we turned it on in front of them. It was a simple cracked screen and when we finally got it back the screen wasn't glued on properly. The iPad was glitching and the screen was separating. When we addressed it again, they said they were going to fix and now they messed with the motherboard and told us if they wanted us to fix even though nothing was wrong with it. My Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 suddenly started to power off when I would fold it closed. After some Googling, it seemed like this was an issue that required a repair...not just doing something like a factory reset. I had purchased the Samsung Care+ plan ($149 for two years), so I called to find out if this issue was covered. It was, so I filed a claim and made an appointment at uBreakiFix for 12:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Since I was anxious, I ended up getting there a few minutes after they opened (about 10:10 a.m.). No one else was there. I gave the technician my phone (on Maintenance Mode), and he said it would be 2 to 3 hours. They have a Track My Repair feature on their website. It was a good thing I was easily able to keep myself busy in the area because my phone's repair status didn't change to be in the "repair status" until right before 2 p.m. It had been sitting the "prepping for repair" status. It didn't seem like coming earlier made a difference since it was four hours until my phone was fixed. Not a big deal though. The technician who helped me was Nick. He was really great...professional, easy to talk to, and answered all my questions. My new best friend since he fixed my phone...my prescious...LOL. I had asked if he would be able to show me any damages while he repaired my phone if visible. He said he would take a picture, but unfortunately, he didn't see anything that looked damaged. Nick did explain that my front camera was apparently defective, which was weird since it seemed like it was working okay. I appreciated that he checked it though since it wasn't an issue I was aware of. Well, I drove here, waited over half an hour for the to open, greeted at the door and told them my situation. The lady that had an accent was the one who opened the door and greeted me. First of all, the way she was in the store, was like she didn't want to help me at all. She kept arguing with me, pointing at a "line" that I was unable to see. They said they can't help me because that it looks like the phone was impacted. It's a Galaxy Fold 4. The damage is from the screen being folded, due to the way the phone is made. My girlfriend and I went to the Kapolei store and tried to get her s24 ultra repaired because her screen went total black. Lady told us what it could be and how they're going to analyze it. Couple days later my girlfriend called to ask the status about the phone and one of the workers said it was done and ready for pick up so we drove from town to the other side of the island ro pick it up but when we made it there and asked for the phone. The guy went to the back and came back with the phone saying "sorry we thought it was done, somebody put it in the done bin on accident." We drove home empty handed, waste of time. Few days later we got a call from the store saying we can fix it yet we would have to wait 3-4 weeks to receive a part or we could just send it to samsung to fix. Not to mention also we picked up the phone from them and they didn't put everything back in place, the phone has been pried open and haven't even closed it properly. Her Sim card slot... gone.
