My Wife and I had a 9:00 appointment this morning. Got there and waited for a few minutes. We were greeted by Riku Olszewski. We went in to upgrade my outdated iPhone 7 but, ended up getting a great deal that included upgrading our Keiki's phones as well. Riku was very patient, helpful, clear and concise. He also helped us transfer all of the information from our old phones to the new ones. The process took a little over an hour. During that time we talked Family and football. Located in the same building as Safeway Kapolei, this AT&T location is much smaller than Ka makana Alii but closer to home for me. I did not want to make the drive this day so I went to this location instead & do not regret it one bit. There's ample parking in this building and the store is not hard to find. Seth assisted me and he was so friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He offered me multiple options that helped me get the best bang for my buck & I definitely felt like he cares about his customers. Kim the manager on duty was also very friendly and helpful. Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE HERE. My husband and I came today because we had to do some business. Today I had to wait outdoors, because I couldn't be let in because we were from the same party. But that wasn't an issue last week when we were both upgrading to two iPhone 13 Pro, and two apple 7 watches. Last week, we never even sat next to each other, we were 6ft apart. But this week it's an issue. And I find it ironic, I see someone is allowed to wait inside. Funny how some rules are flexible for some. I did get a chance to speak to the manager and voice my disappointment with my treatment which she apologized, And stated if the couch is available I could wait inside. I explained to her that it was available when we arrived but I was turned away by her employee, and was told to wait outside. She tried to explain that that att has been cracking down on their policy for two weeks now, and that all her employees set expectations at the door, which was not the case in our situation. Last week during when this so called policy was in place, we were both allowed to be in the building, given we were 6ft apart. I also told her that they need to make this policy clear by updating their signs that's posted at the front door and making sure all employees follow so their is no confusion. And just so it's clear, this manager that I spoke to today, was present last week when we were both in the building upgrading our phones and watches last week. It's all really frustrating because this was all a big issue, but employees last week taking off their masks in store when working with clients is not. I don't care, but let's talk about being transparent with policies. I have no need to lie, you can review your camera footage. I did go ahead and filed a complaint with AT&T. read more

Highly recommend not coming to this location. A manager and employee screwed me over making it seem like she was giving me a great deal and making my monthly payment lower when really she added a line that I am unable to use. I would have never agreed to the deal if I would of known the actual monthly price or knew the line wouldn't work. I am paying $297.00 for only 2 phones for 3 years. ONLY 2 phone not including insurance!!! I have tried calling AT&T multiple times, but they will not let me cancel the useless line until the end of my contract...Save yourself lot of money and go to another carrier. read more

I usually go into ATT to see one person and one person only Marmi Bright!!!! I went in yesterday , it was her day off shucks I really wanted to get new phone. The first guy who helped me was awesome in finding me a promotion on purchasing the new phone. He made good conversation. My son started to complain I need to use the bathroom. He sped up the process, offered to put my case and screen protector on my new phone. I declined, I figured it out on my own. Lol, anyways the promotion he added required adding another line which is fine because I wanted to change my number anyways. He said we call the loyalty line to cancel the line I didn't want anymore. Which is fine. I left with my new phone. Lose one star due to the rep I received over the phone. Although he was helpful. His willingness to assist me with cancelling the line was none existent he gave me false information and informed I had to go back to my point of sale. Back to my point of sale, the initial guy who helped me was not there when I got back. I got a new rep Cole, he blew it out of the park going the extra mile to call the loyalty team and reconfirm everything that was told to me over the phone and ultimately get the line cancelled out. So we usually got to the AT&T store in Mililani and we initially came there to upgrade my mom's phone from a Samsung to an iPhone 6s Plus. The agent who helped us was very pleasant and she was able to have us pay for the phone, change my mom's number because she was getting weird calls and also get the accessories for her new phone. The only problem is, they didn't have the phone at the Mililani location...so we paid for the phone and they did the activation, and all we had to do was pick up the phone from Kapolei. The phone my mom wanted wasn't in stock, so instead of waiting till the following day, they went out of their way to get everything set up...from payment and all we had to do was pay for the phone and pick it up. The moment we got here, we received the same amount of service in the Kapolei location that we did in Mililani. However, we ended up waiting a while just to pick up the phone. There were other walk ins and they were being serviced right away. You would think that paying for the phone at the Mililani location, would warrant us a lower wait time. But I guess I was mistaken. There were more than enough employees on the floor to service us, but it seemed like we took a back seat to other people who just walked in. I'm starting to feel like we should have just waited the following day so that we didn't have to wait again to be serviced. I'm usually pleased with the face to face contact with AT&T but waiting longer than usual kinda makes the experience suck! Anyway, by the time we were serviced, Lawrence was great!! He was able to get the iPhone 6+ s that we got for my mom. He was even able to upload her old photos from her Samsung to her new iPhone and was glad to transfer her contacts as well. Although we waited longer than we anticipated, the level of service Lawrence provided was amazing! He made the experience worth the travel from Mililani to Kapolei, to pick up my mom's iPhone 6+ s! This ATT store ripped me off for $70.30 I have filed an overcharge dispute with my bank and AT&T was supposed to refund my $73.30 charged to my bank on June 9. After five calls I could not get the AT&T store to send me an charge statement, despite them saying they would. The charge should be $5 for the AT&T EBB data plan, not the full amount I was charged. I was never given a receipt. When I called for one to be emailed to me it never was sent. I called five times over two days speaking with Kirk and someone else- always promised immediate attention and email. I was finally able to get my account ID and SIM number over the phone - which Kirk said he "wasn't supposed to do." I really don't understand what is going on there and why they cannot send emails. I checked my bank account and found that the charge was posted yesterday and listed as "utilities." This sure seems strange to me. ATT keeps saying they will refund me but never have. I would never do business with ATT again. read more

I've been a customer here for a while. Usually things are pretty good but today was just bad. Only 2 team members on the floor both helping families. No big deal. I'll wait my turn. Occasionally others team members show up to discuss things but then go back into the back room. Okay fine. What took the cake was that I was waiting for 30 minutes. Saw 2 team members come out, start taking to each other, and then one rang the other one up for something as I'm waiting at a table by the back door and then a third team member went to their table and sat there to just talk with them. They saw me waiting. Ignored me and rang themselves up. Then they went and rang up a guy that was looking at accessories. So much for getting my business for an upgrade. I'll stick to the one near my job and will only stop by if Marmi is here. She's helped me out a lot before and I'll give my business to her. Seek her out. My honey and I used to go to the Waipahu location until they started being unhelpful with our inquiries. Plus, they were getting ruthless in trying to get sales because I learned they were on commission (not sure how true that is but they were ruthless and aggressive). So, we ventured few years ago to Kapolei and we never looked back. We've been fortunate to have great sales people to work with and our current AT&T sales person is *DRUMROLL* Blake Yes, I will advocate and promote Blake because he is very helpful and will take the time to answer any questions. Did I mention helpful? Yes, I did but I'll say it again. He is HELPFUL when it comes to looking at your account and making sure you are not being overcharged or there are features that is not needed. The earlier part of this year when there was the Tsunami scare, almost a month before that incident...I upgraded to a Blackberry Torch. I was stoked then brokenhearted that the Torch did not live up to my expectations. So, I decided to dump it because my honey convinced me to try the iPhone 4. I called their location and spoke with Blake. Mentioned that he assisted us a month before and I wasn't happy with my Blackberry Torch. He asked if I had anything else in mind that I wanted in exchange? I shared, "iPhone 4" He said, "Okay, I'll have it ready for you when you come on down with your blackberry." Drove their quickly...and I was out within an hour. Ooooh, LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOVE my iPhone 4!!! And I owe it all to Blake the AT&T sales staff member who will take the time to make sure that you walk out with a smile. Conveniently located in Kapolei Shopping Mall with lots of parking you won't have to stalk someone walking back to their car, hoping to get their parking. I haven't experienced any really long waits here. I suppose it depends on the time of day you go there and how many people are ahead of you. When you walk-in, you check in with the associate at the front who will check you in, ask you a couple of questions and your name will appear on big screen. You can see how many people are ahead of you. If you're pressed for time, you can always come back another time if there are too many people ahead of you. Most recently I went to AT&T because my the rubber part of my cell phone case had ripped. When I bought it ($50 - gotta protect my baby - iPhone 4s) I was told it had a one year warranty on it. I went there with really no expectations but I was pleasantly surprised when Cory switched it out. I had kept the receipt but he didn't need it since he said it came up on my records. He put the case on for me and even cleaned the face of my phone before putting it on. Talk about customer service. When my sassy dad decided he wanted a cell phone, I told him I'd buy it for his birthday. Tried talking him into a flip phone but nooooo, the man wants to go straight to the iPhone. Mind you, the man has never had a cell phone before and doesn't even know how to turn on a cell phone. The woman who assisted us was so helpful. I forgot her name but I think she might be the manager. She wears glasses. Anywho she was so patient and explained the different phones to my dad and it's features. Since this would be his first, she suggested something more easier, like the flip phone. She didn't try to push a high price item on him BUT the brat wanted an iPhone and wasn't going to leave the store without one smh. To make matters worse, he got the newest version while I still had to older version. Brat right? Another time my phone kept searching for a signal so I took it to AT & T. Tiana helped me and thought it might be the SIM card so she changed it for me but it still kept searching for a signal. Nobody else was having signal problems so it had to be the phone. Tiana called Apple for me and told them about my phone. I took it to Apple and they gave me a new phone. Seems it was some type of glitch with the phone. Anyway, I get that AT & T gets super busy and you might not feel acknowledged but when you walk in there is an associate standing at the door who will take your info. Like I mentioned, I've never experienced bad service here and everyone is very friendly and helpful. UPDATE: the girl who helped us was Marmi. She helped us again today and she's totally awesome. She took the time to explain the iPhone to my aunt, figured out which one was more economical for her and which plan to go with. She even transferred all my aunt's contacts from her dinosaur phone (thank god or else I would've had to try and figure that out), put the screen protector on the phone and the case as well. We came here to upgrade and connect my daughter's cell service and we found out that they no longer carry the iPhone 5 - just 5c and 5s. It seems as though as soon Apple introduces their latest and greatest advancement in the Iphone and Ipad category - our phone gets obsolete or like I like to refer to as "vintage." No fault of AT&T though, but it sure gets frustrating that we have to upgrade our cells just because our "vintage" cells are now obsolete in the retail stores (you can find them on Craigslist or Amazon but trying to get it fixed becomes problematic as soon as the latest devices are introduced). Mark (don't know his last name) was very helpful in helping us set up services. We did side by side comparisons of the Samsung Mega & Galaxy Note as well as with the Iphone 5c and 5s. He was most helpful as well as explaining the services attached when you purchase an Ipad with wifi plan versus having none. Despite the growing population in the store, Mark took his time to explain the pros and cons. I appreciate the time and effort he took in making sure all our questions were answered. This gets a 5 star rating because the products, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and LOCATION makes this a win-win situation. read more

I went here yesterday because my phone, that I just bought less than two months ago, stopped working. It's only an inexpensive flip phone, because that's all I need. I waited about five minutes and than Simone came over to take care of me. She was great! She changed my SIM card and she hat seemed to do the trick. I went back to my car, and the phone wasn't working again. I went back inside, and showed her what was still happening. So she sat me down and performed more extensive surgery. Then she walked me back out to my car, to make sure it really worked this time. And just like magic, it was perfect! I usually hate going to cell-phone companies because I always feel like they're just trying to take advantage of me and charge me ridiculous fees, but I had such a GREAT experience today at the AT&T at the Kapolei Shopping Center! My wait time wasn't very long and when I was called, I was helped by Marmi, who is phenomenal! I was inquiring about different phone plans that would lower my monthly payment and she literally wrote out everything in my current plan that I was paying for and then wrote out everything that was included in two other plans that I could switch to. I really appreciated, as I'm a visual learner, this allowed me to see cost breakdown. I was able to save $30 a month on a new plan that still covers the amount of services I utilize on my phone. If you are like me and don't particularly like talking to people at cell phone companies, I would highly recommend talking to Marmi if you're under AT&T! On a side note: there's ample, free parking. Public restrooms are outside of the shop (AT&T does not have one in store available for public use) in between the bank (HSFCU) and Jeans Warehouse. There are many places to eat around here as well as a safeway if you need to do grocery shopping and a Longs if you need to fill a prescription. read more

Never go to kapolei shopping center location again, I purchased a iPhone 12 for my wife 3 months ago. I was paid in full for my iPhone, and the salesman add an unused phone line for me. He didn't explain anything or ask me to pick any flavor number for future use, I guess he just want to make commission, but it's a dirty work to make customers to pay extra. I highly recommend all the users be careful if they go there, always check your statement even you pay automatically online. Best experience yet. Today I went in to the AT&T retail location in Kapolei. I was greeted by a representative name KADIE and boy was I lucky to have her as a representative who helped me. I advised KADIE I was in to upgrade my husband's phone and asked if she could see if I would be qualified to do so, which thankfully I was, but even better, so was my other two lines qualified. Kadie walked me thru the promotions and from beginning to end just made my experience shopping there so comfortable and relaxed. Kadie not only helped me with upgrading my husband's phone to an iphone 7, but also helped me to upgrade my phone to Galaxy 8 plus, which then allowed me to get a free Galaxy 8 phone for free! This girl helped me in everyway to offer me things I wasn't asking for, but yet allowed me to get MORE for my money. I walked out of that store so happy and amazed with all the things I got it was unbelievable. I am definitely thankful, grateful, happy, amazed, all of the above, you name it! Definitely going back there again and better yet referring whomever I can to see her for their shopping needs. Not forgetting to add, my experience was so awesome that I wanted to tip her but was told they can't accept tip. So..... For management reading this, I think you should create something cool for us customers to express or show our appreciation to your awesome employees such as KADIE, not forgetting to mention you too Anthony and manager Josh. Whether its ringing a bell to let everyone know I enjoyed my experience there, so everyone can shout that employee out in the store, or to maybe creating an electronic "review" board so when customers are done shopping we can walk to the tv/review board and type in an appreciation message/thank you message to the rep that helped us. Ive been fighting with sprint to get my number changed over to AT&T for about 6 months. Sprint charged my mom for like 6 or 7 years for an iPhone 6 and never told her that it wasn't a lease to own. so when I finally tried to switch carriers cuz sprint has terrible customer service, they just kept giving me wrong information to prevent me from switching. So finally when I went in to AT&T and had Dwaine help me drop sprint like a bad habit. My iPhone 3gs went for a swim on vacation, so I went in to the closest AT&T store to get a replacement. I was asked numerous times if I wanted to upgrade and I declined. When the sales clerk went to the back to get the phone she came back empty handed and said "The whole state of Hawaii is sold out of the 3gs models". I was asked again if I wanted to upgrade. Hmmm? I declined and left the store. I used my wife's phone and called 2 other Oahu AT&T stores and 1 in Maui. They all had iPhone 3gs in stock. Bought mine the following day from David at the North School, Honolulu AT&T Store. Thanks David, your customer service was the finest I've seen. After my pleasant experience at the Honolulu store, I thought I would go back into the Kapolei store and ask for a iPhone 3Gs. A different salesperson said, "We have 2 of them". I asked her to look up if any other stores had iPhone 3Gs in stock, she went to the computer and pulled up a list of stores that had iPhone 3Gs in stock. I asked her to send over Tiaro or Jannell so that I could ask them why they lied to me the day before. When I told Tiaro that I bought a phone in the Honolulu store on North School St, she stated that it wasn't an AT&T store. Really? I had the AT&T store locator on my new iPhone for her. This location has turned from the best to the worst over the years. The girl at the door always seems to be just standing there staring into space. Most of the employees always have an attitude problem when they help you like they are doing you a big favor by sitting down with you pretty much when at the end they are just trying to upsale you and ignore the problems you may need help with. You'll wait for a very long time if your not making a big purchase. The managers and most of the sales reps here are never smiling always walking around like it's a dictatorship management or something. Some of them dont even have product knowledge here. What should have been a quick 30 minute session, quickly turned into a two hour and multiple-day nightmare. I had previously come in to add myself to my boyfriends plan, and had to port my old information from Verizon to AT&T. I was told I needed my information from Verizon, so I returned the next day with the information. The person who helped me was Kiara. It started off ok, until Kiara mistakenly put my phone number over my boyfriends number instead of the temporary number. Prior to this, we had asked Kiara if my phone would still "work" after the port. To which she quickly responded yes, mentioned something about if my phone was locked or unlocked and returned to the back room of the store without allowing us to ask any more questions. After Kiara made the mistake, both my phone number and my bf's number were not working. When we told her that she said my phone would still work, she said "You asked if the device would work, and I said yes". While yes, the phone itself still worked it was completely useless as a means of communication. This was upsetting because it seemed like common sense that I was asking if I would still be able to use my phone as I normally would. After this, Kiara and her manager (Tiare, I think?), came to speak to us and did not offer and sort of sincere apology as we had been there over an hour at that point. Not once, did Kiara take ownership of the huge mistake that she had made. Rather, her and her manager put it on my hands to somehow contact my boyfriend, who was at work, in order to access his account. When I told them, "I don't know" because both of our numbers were no longer working thanks to Kiara. Her manager responded with, "I don't know is not an option". I ended up having to come back the next day, and my problems have still not been completely resolved. I wish I had never switched to AT&T, and just stuck with Verizon. Verizon has even given me a $100 credit to my mom's account, while AT&T offered no sort of compensation whatsoever. I will definitely not be back to this location.
