I switched us to Xfinity and only ran into problems trying to set up my dad's phone. He went in to this store to get set up and they turned him away because he did not know how to follow the link I provided him to make him an authorized user. They would not help him. So I set up him and a friend as authorized users and he went to the Xfinity store the next day to get set up with a SIM card. They turned him away again! Then why did I set him up as a manager on the account in the first place??? Why all the hoops to jump through just to be turned away? Just a complete waist of time. Now, instead of helping him install a SIM card on his phone, I have to mail him one and a friend is going to have to install the SIM card themselves. They should hire helpful customer service agents who can help the elderly. There is no phone number to call and speak with someone at the store, just a 1-800 number, so there is no way to speak with anyone on the phone.

I wanted to change my plan and he told me I had to cancel the plan I have with them and call a phone number to set it up so I cancel my plan. When I got home and called the number he gave me the lady told me that I can't sign up for the plan I had to be a none customer for 90 days to sign up for another plan. So now I have NO INTERNET l guess I have 90 days to shop around for internet. Xfinity needs to train there employees better and get a dress code.

Who slouched in chair, chewed gum, did not give me eye contact or appear to be friendly. Beware when you go in to have specific questions prepared. Look out for omissions on their recommendations. For example, I was told he could lower my internet course with a deal but part of the deal was a Samsung tablet. I said I didn't need it. Sebastian said it was part of the deal so I said ok. Sebastian didn't mention that by taking he tablet I would be paying $140 over three years. I went back to return it and it took them over half an hour just to accept it back after they ask for SS # and photographed my drivers license. Be sure you ask the "helper" to explain your service and the costs of each item before you accept it. Also the terms they use for different services are ambiguous. Be sure to ask about what for example "video" means. Good Luck

I have screenshots and video recording of the live agent chat with Vijay (as you're not able to speak with live representatives). I have spent countless hours, over 6, cried and experienced immense frustration due to follow-up regarding this as my modem for my new plan was delivered but my bill did not reflect what was promised. When following up, a chat agent purposely disconnected the chat because they didn't care to speak to me. The next one kept repeating things that wasn't the concern at the time such as what I currently owe on my bill, how I can make a payment, etc to cause frustration and confusion to avoid reaching a solution regarding the matter. I have where it was repeated 5 times, before and after, the signed change in plan where it is promised my overcharges would be dismissed. They acknowledge this was said, stated they'd contact Vijay but that they can't uphold the agreement but would like to help me set up my new equipment for my plan. They acknowledged the distress this situation had caused me, how I was a valued customer of over 7+ years but that they could only offer me a 60 dollar remediation and asked me to agree. Due to numerous statements stating plural "overcharges" and confirmation of 60 and 80 dollars in total, I refused to agree to such an agreement. They directed me to call: 1-888-565-4329 to discuss things further as they only had so much they could within their limits. After calling and being redirected to over 4 different people at this number at 11p at night, they told me all they would be doing is the ticket#: ECM0018044776 and to call back in a few hours to see if they'd move forward with forgiving the other 80 dollar charge. They purposely told me they'd forgive the overcharges to secure the upsale of their products under false pretenses. I have reported this to the BBB. Blatantly fraudulent.

Even though I had a 2 year contract last September. Being retired and losing health benefits, I called to lower my cable bill last Sept.. My cost was to be $84.99 period. The next bill was $90.00, then $114 for a few months, then $119. I was on vacation from Dec. to April. Once home my first bill was over $200. I did contact Comcast and told my new bill would be $129.09. Then I was just told it would be $119.99 or $119.95. Then I was told that I added a Latino Sports Package @ $6.99 and their modem went up $1.00. This was added to my contract, "Because they can do that". I am currently looking at possibly YouTube TV and another internet provider. I am sick and tired of dealing with outsourced phone agents from India or where ever the H*LL they are. POTUS Trump's campaign policies were to keep businesses in the USA. The only businesses he was interested in trying to keep here were the ones that greased his palms to do so. I am a senior Citizen living on a smaller income and to have that amount of money per month taken out of my monthly check is ridiculous. Bub-Bye Comcast......FOREVER!!!
