Last night (04/24/26) there was a terrible storm and tornadoes, regularly gusting 80mph winds. Losing the internet signal and cable was expected as it felt like the houses for veterans at HVAF (206 N. Warman Ave.) were going to hop up and land in Greenfield. A call was made this morning for help and (04/25/2026) in a jiffy our friendly neighborhood Spectrum Technician Anthony showed up, was friendly and clearly knowledgeable and had everything back online quickly, fixed everyone's TV (so important to homes full of veterans) but what stood out was how he handled the visit. Professional, calm, fun, and made it no longer feel like a problem, but like getting a new toy. You could tell he was accommodating and that means a lot to those of us that are disabled, and he could hold his chin up, proud of making 30 of us in 3 homes all chipper. Spectrum should hang onto technicians like this. He was invited to come back for dinner but he was set on helping more people restore their service. If there's a way to request him again, I would. The invite remains open if he can handle us curmudgeons. It was one of those rare times when you leave the interaction in a much better mood than when you started. Anthony should be recognized for his work. He made a meaningful difference for about 30 residents across three homes. If there's a way to request him again, I absolutely would. He deserves at least a cookie. I am thankful we are using Spectrum. read more

I came into the local store at Delaware St in Indianapolis to cancel my deceased dads account with Spectrum (my dad passed away early 2024) he was on auto pay, so mom wan't aware that the $91+ dollars being deducted from his account was for that service. (He had signed up for a 25.00 dollar plan) To me it seems that their employees need better training, they had a hard time understanding that we needed to cancel a deceased persons account, finally when I though that was taken care of I asked for a confirmation (to make sure this charge wouldn't continue happening) they said they couldn't provide one; that I would have to wait for an e-mail. I got the e mail about 5 hours later, but to my surprise the account number and service address listed was not the correct one!!! LOL!! They cancelled someone elses service!!! ??? I just got off customer service, this person actually helped, (I hope) said that persons service will be reisntated and the he would complete the process to cancel my dad's account. Honestly I wasn't expecting to spend so much time to take care of this. read more

I consider Spectrum to be dishonest in their business dealings. I picked up 3 xumo devices from their store in Clay Terrace. (It is no longer there) At the time I was told they each cost $60 a year or $5 a month for 12 months. I was told I would own each device at the end of 12 months. They have continued to charge me way past the 12 month agreement. When I called, they said I had a service agreement which continued indefinitely at $5 a month. To cancel this in order to then own the devices outright they would have to charge me $45. Went round and round with customer service about how incorrect and dishonorable this was as nothing on my statement states it is a service agreement and furthermore, I was explicitly told I would own the devices outright after 12 months. If you have a choice, do not do business with Spectrum. Totally dishonest and dishonorable. read more

My husband and I switched our mobile service to Spectrum. We made an appointment for assistance with implementing the service and SIM card installation. We parked in the attached parking garage, checked in online and waited less than 5 minutes for service. Shar'ron was our assisting agent, and I would have given her 6 stars if it were an option. She was knowledgeable, kind and amazingly efficient. I was concerned about parking since my husband has limited ability to walk. It was perfect. Short walk and great service. I've had Spectrum about 4 years on 2 houses, wi-fi only. Initially everything was fine, good rates, good service. Over time my rate has increased to nearly $200/month. There are very frequent outages & speeds have slowed, with buffering. In one house I have my own modem, the other is theirs. Their reliability is the same at both houses. Yesterday I switched providers & called Spectrum to cancel. My autopay payments were due in 6 & 9 days. I thought I'd be giving them 6 & 9 days of my money. But here's what happened -- I MUST pay the payments due in 6-9 days! I asked why. Their billing cycle is monthly but not close to their payment due dates. So they're getting $200 for not having to provide service. Maybe I'm the only person who doesn't have their billing cycle dates memorized? I view this as a nice little trick to get as much $$$ in their pockets as they can for crappy internet. read more

Everything, customer service needs to be on the same page, you have customer service people providing different answers depending on who you speak with. Some were not very nice. The prices are inflated, often you pay double for the service(s) provided when compared with other competitors. Spectrum internet Service is often dropped or offline. Phone service is much more costly and if you reach a certain level they slow your data service so it responds like dial up. Do not use this service, there are other vendors out there that will lock you in a better deal. read more

Let's starts there's only one spectrum store in Indianapolis. Only two employees working on a BUSY SATURDAY MORNING. The manger I'm sure is a nice woman, but if you see a store packed. STEP IN AND ASSIST. Not sure if an IAP is a requirement to work in store. Even with multiple employees the wait was ridiculous the previous day. My bill went up to $90.34 and I called and asked Jennifer why that was and she said that my promotion was up. I understand that but I asked if she could help me get a new one and without even looking she told me no. She kept asking me if I had my own router and I told her yes and that I needed the extra pod for upstairs because my internet was to weak to reach up there. I hung up and called back and the guy that answered me was so nice and helped me with a promotion that I only have to pay $35. I am not sure why Jennifer could not see that. if I could give negative reviews I would. have had service for about 2 months and have had probably one good week of connected services. I work from home and was guaranteed great service but had spent many days with completely disconnected services while "techs" work on it. on Friday it was a cloudless day and was out of WiFi for OVER 12 HOURS. unacceptable. not sure who these techs are but they clearly can't do their job correctly making people in 2025 have uninterrupted services. calling every-time there is an outage to receive a $2 credit for everyday that there was a disconnection is crazy insulting when I could be doing my job and receiving $200 a day from my job. while I'm typing this just received an outage notification at 10:30pm (a cloudless night) just when ive put my children down for bed and ready to decompress on the couch watching tv. guess I'm watching the back of my eyelids tonight. do better, Spectrum. *rant over* read more

I think the only reason this company is standing is because some of us have to have it with the location we are in. Luckily we just got another WiFi provider in our location and we immediately cancelled our services. After a 15 minute call of "oh you should have told us your bill increased 40 dollars, if you get cellular service with us we will bring it back down" schemes we cancelled. Equipment was returned by our billing date which is different than the cycle date, so we for charged 110 dollars for nothing. When cancelling ask when the cycle date is to save some money. When I was returning my equipment it unexpectedly took a long time. I felt so bad for the customers in there. Everyone was complaining about issues and billing problems. I don't recommend this company. We had no choice. So many outages and problems, also. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. Service is crap. Customer Service is crap. After 2 hours of working at 3 am my internet is out. It goes down literally like clockwork everybight at 1am. I have had technicians out to only be given a new modem and an im sorry, with no regard to the literally hundreds of dollars I have lost over the ordeal. Tonight I was told that I am supposed to get notifications of their "Maintenance" outages. Which in the 4 yrs I've been with them I have never recieved one. Tonight was a special outage. Extremely frustrated with Spectrum. First, they failed to honor the deal their salesman made. He included Spectrum tv with program first 3 months for free and when I cancelled it, they cancelled all the benefits. Had to go round and round with Spectrum to get price back down to a portion of the discount I had. Internet has gone down several times, but no discount for their failures, instead the price keeps going up. Finally, I asked for billing. I have only had 1bill that hasn't shown up from any other service in 15+ years. Spectrum on the other hand has neglected to send bills on at least 3 occasions and then blames me for not paying. (Meanwhile, I am out of town and my wife is paying the bills during at least 2 such occasions.) Odd as that is, they can easily find the time to send me e-mails and advertisements on "special deals" for their TV which I stated up front I DID NOT WANT. The phone # which I was assured I could keep has never worked, but if I change plans, the cost goes up more than what I am currently paying. (Less service = more money???) I'm done with Spectrum. Looking for a more reliable provider which actually listens to what I want, charges fairly, and values their current customers more than trying to get new ones or adding unwanted services. If it wasn't for the installer, Spectrum deserves a 1* in my book and it is my hope that the installer has decided to take his services to another company. read more

I'll have to agree with everyone here that spectrum has some really spotty coverage. It's been an ongoing issue with me and it's been quite the headache since I work from home. But this review isn't about Spectrum in its entirety, this a review on this specific location. Again, I've been having connectivity issues and after speaking to customer service, the agent recommended I upgrade my router at a local spectrum store. Found one in downtown Indy-must be new because this was the nicest one I've seen in my life lol. What I'm really writing this review for though is the service I received. I wish I got the guys name, but he had long curly hair and it was up in a bun, and also had a goatee. This guy welcomed me as soon as I got in the door and he was extremely knowledgeable. He also may have sold me on Spectrum Mobile (I'll need to look into that a little more though). I work in sales and this is the type of service that can't go unnoticed. Great job! Overall, a great experience at this location. Now if only I could get this type of grade A service from everywhere else in the city. Whatever this guys name is....we need more people like him out here, everywhere, all at once. read more

This is the worst internet and cable service I've ever had in my life. Every other day is goes out, slow down, and just don't work! I pay for 1GB because I need it for my streaming cable (theirs), cameras in my home, and my alarm system and it fells me EVERYTIME! I pay about $200 a month for nothing! Horrible service, wish I could leave 0 stars. When I first joined spectrum, I ordered two phones which both came in the wrong color and model. Ended up keeping those since I don't have time to be going back and fourth. I then proceeded to go to the spectrum store about a year later to order new phones. I went there verified my ID left in three days later received several emails asking to confirm my ID the next day. My orders were canceled. I went back to the store all the representatives told me that they don't know why I received those emails. If I verified the ID the day that I ordered, they then proceeded to not help me with anything and say that I'll get my money refunded later and have to wait an entire week to order my phones again. I've been going back-and-forth several times with spectrum. Not only those two incidents, but have traveled out of the country and have been left my entire vacation without my phones working and having to pay those international fees. If I could give a zero star, I certainly would. My aunt has Spectrum TV and Cable and has been without service for 3 days. The rep said that someone would be here today (Monday) between 10 and 11am. Well no one showed so she called back. They insist that they told her it would be tomorrow (Tuesday)....uh 4 days! I was there, they said Monday. In addition, they offered very little in a credit for her loss of service. It's been explained to the many reps she's spoken to, that the lines from the pole to the house are on the ground, yet they still read from a book to tell her to turn it off, unplug it, wait and try again. Morons! The line is on the ground!!!! Anything you want her to do from your book, won't work. UGH! read more

I would never recommend Spectrum to anyone! Once they have you as customer, you never hear from them again & they are overpriced. I decided to switch to a streaming service & I was on phone for hour & a half with "retention " dept. listening to all of their "new" offers of lower prices to keep me. After saying no about a dozen times, I then was on hold for about 30 minutes while two of them struggled with the computer program that terminated my account. Since I'm unable to email Spectrum to share my experience last night I'll do it here. I had to reformat and reinstall Windows on my PC. When reinstalling my email client I was able to receive but not send emails. When I got on a chat with support I was told they were phasing out Windows clients and the only way I could get email was webmail. This has to be the craziest thing I've heard. I had to install Outlook and look at how it configured the outgoing email settings and copied it onto my client. It works. I'll be looking for another ISP. read more

Jason at the 240 Delaware branch was awesome! Spectrum corporate set me up with a new mobile plan/internet combo after Net10 dropped my paid services and hijacked my BYOD EMEI. Spectrum Corporate switched me to their mobile+Internet and but I needed to buy a new phone also, and corporate had already initiated my plan, so i went into the Delaware branch and Jason helped me cancel my mobile plan and start a new one so I could finance a phone with it. corporate employee was uncooperative because she was losing commission, but Jason saw my need and helped me get faster internet, mobile, and a new iPhone 15, all for the same monthly I was paying before I came to Spectrum. I am so happy with Jason at Spectrum Delaware. The only bad part of spectrum is the war culture they've created between corporate and branch employees over commission. spectrum, You have some great employees... stop pitting them against each other!! shoutout to Jason who helped me greatly and was more motivated by my needs than but his commission. he definitely earned the commission transfer I brought him from the corporate employee. read more

Worst internet provider I have ever had. If you cancel, they charge you the entire month even if you only had one day of service. 6 outages within the last 60 days. They will not send you to customer retention when you complain and tell them you will switch providers. THey basicly tell you....too bad. So, If you decide to keep them, make sure you are sent to customer retention to have your bill lowered. They are horrible. I would give them a negative star if I could. Most employees are rude. Probably because they are yelled at constantly because it is such a horrible company that provides horrible service. read more

Will never use Spectrum again....try to disconnect and they haggle you and basically refuse to do the disconnect, after telling the csr multiple times "I just want to disconnect" instead he just kept trying to push the service on me ....you can't do it online, agent there said it requires a verbal confirmation. Wtf you can start, upgrade, and downgrade without ever talking to a person, but when you want to cancel your service with them you have to call ....so you can be haggled and attempted to be pressured into keeping service you don't want. Also what if I were a person that could not speak, how are you going to require a verbal confirmation when everything else can be done nonverbal....a load of horse shit just to haggle people!!!! Be warned, don't use Spectrum unless you plan on keeping them forever! read more

Do not care about their customers, charge ridiculously expensive fees. Wi-Fi is not worth it with spectrum. Too expensive for low quality.

I work from home and it's been 5 days since Spectrum has provided me with internet service. I do not recommend them at all.

I chose 1star because 0 is not an option. Rhis is a horrible company. Customer service is terrible. Long waits, transfers, I have to talk to my supervisor, oops you were disconnected. The next thing you know you've spent over 2 hours to get just about nothing done. Also, they WILL find a way to eventually scam you on your bill. Back in the day you HAD to use them for your TV and internet, but in today's market there are better options out there. I recommend using one of them instead. Internet $114.20 for 1 gig, the router never worked so we finally got our own router...and we were told by the Rep that it is our line that is not working ...like we pull the cable to the house and let them charge us for it ...anyway, constant outages of internet at night. If you have security system that depends on internet stay away for Spectrum because you might get robbed and you will hear no alarm while you sleep due to the outage of internet......and now after 3 years of being customer I canceled the service 6 days after the billing cycle and Spectrum is charging me for the full month. Keep it and choke on it ... your service sucks just like your internet and your phones... Even if you offer it for free I will never return and I will make sure to warn others not to waste their money with the tiny Spec of internet you provide and the Trauma of a service you have. read more

Worst internet company I have ever had. For a month now the upload speeds have been atrocious. They came out three times, switched out my equipment and re spliced the lines. After I finally asked the blatantly obvious question as to if they even bothered to check the main line on the street, they finally check it and find out the main line is the issue after looking at the data logs. But it's been over a month of me having several issues with video conferencing that I've had to use my damn cell hot spot when I should not have had to at all if they had done their jobs correctly a month ago. Why the hell am I paying full price internet when I've had to use up all 30GB of my cell phone hotspot... Ripoff read more
