Went in on a Wednesday afternoon to sign up for my free 12 months of cell service. The store was quite busy as I checked in at the kiosk. Things can move slowly as English is not the first language of many staff and customers, and they don't share a common first language. After waiting 25 minutes I was asked by Evelyn if I needed help. Apparently even though I registered at the kiosk, the system didn't record it. Fortunately for me, Evelyn was attentive and was able to quickly assist me. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant, and did a great job helping me transfer to Spectrum cell service. Next time, I won't assume the system will alert the staff that I'm there! read more

Can't even give this store a 1 star. Both csr were terrible. I came from another state and the made me wait for 3 hours after I bought a new phone which they active. Both Hispanic employees started arguing in spanish and taking breaks while 6 to 8 customers waiting in line. It was a DIY project to activate my phone and the woman couldn't speak proper English to disclose the fact that a phone bought in NJ couldn't be be exchanged or returned out of the state. Asking me about protection plans and a phone cover. Ask yourself that and stay off personal phone calls while dealing with customers. I hope no one goes to this Spectrum store in Fort Lee, NJ, WI! read more

I've had great service from this spectrum. After Verizon shut my service off due to a disagreement about a promotion, I had to go to another service and get the equipment right away to get WiFi for work. The reps here told me I could get a year's free phone service with my internet that was about half the price of Verizon. I took a leap of faith and paid the $20 activation fee for a SIM card. I'm enjoying free cell service that used to cost $100+. read more

Fast checkout and return experience. It wasn't busy the day I went but I was greeted and helped quickly.

Internet from Spectrum was slow, not very reliable and expensive. It's not horrible, but definitely on the poor side. I switched to FiOS, and it's less expensive, and much faster. At least so far. It has only been about a week. Also ending service from Spectrum was a painful experience. They want you to answer a bunch of survey questions and refuse to disconnect your service until you finish. read more

Spectrum does not have a way for stores to handle customers returning equipment where their service was in a different state (ie Florida returning equipment in New Jersey). I had to call customer service who took 30 minutes to cancel my service Then I had to be given a manual receipt from the store rep and have to now wait for the Warehouse to send a receipt that they received equipment. Customer service need improvement and professional development is needed at this store. In my observation, Brett is eager to assist. Mary is patient, professional, and helpful. Others wait around to see who would take the next customer. Hopefully you get a warm welcome when you go in for service., It's a gamble, best of luck. Also, for management, employees need a better way to contact technical support. Wait times are over 30 minutes for employees just as for customers. It is counterproductive to have employees work in this manner. read more

Spectrum is overpriced & the service goes down often. I called to have service disconnected on July 16th so they disconnected on the 10th. Moving to Maryland & will be saving at least $100.00 with the same services. Oh, and if you want to disconnect you need to call the day that you want services disconnected. Was not told this when speaking to a representative today. What a pain. Corporations suck. read more

I never check my bill, but I happen to yesterday. I saw a charge for a "one-time fee for WiFi activation" for $9.99. Since I've had them forever, I was confused, but then realized they probably bank on the fact that people don't look at their bills. So, I called today, and surprise! It was an accident! I wonder how much I've paid in "accidents" over the years??? Disgusting! There needs to be something that can be done about this! read more

I would give them zero stars because they were supposed to process my $128.00 promotion and screwed it up at the purchasing of my new phone. i went back 6 times and they have no idea or just don't care about fixing the problem. I am now out my bonus and they don't care. Nothing but runaround from a bunch incompetent people. I emailed the manager 3 times no reply she is no where to be found. She was supposed to be in the store according to this Juan guy. They need to replace these people. I placed a complaint with the main office and have a ticket number for proof. This is the only store in the New Jersey area. Do not go there go to NY. I will persue this matter as much as possible. They suck. read more
