It provides a great service. It consistently provides reliable fast service. I used it for 3 years now and i am grealty satisfied.

This Wireless made me spend $150 on my own cellular data! It's a horrible company specialize in lying to its customers. The service was not working. I waited for 2 weeks for their technicians come and try to fix it. During the 2 weeks, I have to use my own cellular data and lived like in the 90s. Finally after 2 weeks the technician came and told me the the wifi worked fine and he didn't do anything. However after the he left, the wifi had no service AGAIN! That guy must be like a WIFI Santa Clause, there's no magic without him. So I have to call the 800 number again. The tech rep Brain the Ignorant and the customer service rep Rosanna the Arrogant tried to schedule me with another 1 week to send out a technician to re-fix the problem. And they claimed the reason why it hasn't been fixed is because I refused to set up a router which cost $75, and this time they were so kind to show mercy on me to waive the $75 fee. I was astonished. I don't care about the 75 dollars given the fact that I already spent $150 on my own data to keep my life going. Nevertheless, The technician never mentioned to me it's about the router. Somebody lied in the company and blamed all of it on a router. As a customer who has a normal 9-5 life, I can't wait for another time staying at home just hoping them showing up at my door. I think most people don't. So I'm here to share my experience to let new movers into NYC: spend your time wisely and don't use this company! read more

Wow, just wow. To have found an alternative to the spectrums and Verizon's that dominate NYC is without one of the best additions my apartment building (70 Pine St) has brought to us, the residents. First the price, which is billed quarterly at roughly half the price of the providers mentioned above. Not only is the price reasonable but their plans include 600mbps upload and download speed for 50% less then 300 mbps I was paying for at spectrum. Going off that same train of thought the fact that I do not have to idiotically bundle a plethora of services (phone, internet & cable) which I did not take into account in my financial analysis is amazing. If I bundled those in analysis mentioned above it would be far higher making the saving that much greater. I now purchase Hulu ($40/month) and am set with everything my girlfriend and I need. Honestly who really needs or uses a land line phone that was included in most bundles? I was always be stuck paying for this "phone" that I never even had installed in my apartment as it would just take up space and collect dust. Also. somehow the price would go up if I took that landline away which logically is illogical haha but really! Second the internet itself, is fantastic. I run every device in my house including 2 Xbox's, two fire sticks, three laptops, two cell phones and a few iPads. All run flawlessly which is great considering we stream everything and have 4K TVs. This is something I was very worried about when signing up as it felt to good to be true. Two years later I would have been a fool not to have them take over as my provider. Three they have very good customer service with a human Manning their call center that is available 24/7. The only issue that can be frustrating is the lack of ability the "dispatcher" has to fix the issues at hand but In my experience that is the same for all providers. Alll in all I'm thrilled they were installed in my building. I can compare my time before they arrived and after as I've lived in my building for 3 years including one move within the building. In both apartments the service has been stellar. They brought Natural wireless into the building after year 1 and I can easily say they are equal if not better on the speed and customer service front then any provider I've experienced in my life (optimum was pretty good when we lived on Long Island but still second fiddle to Natural Wireless in my opinion). They always make themselves available as quickly as possible to fix any issue that might be going on and as they are local they hire great service people and have a personal touch that is unseen with ANY other company. One time we had an issue where the owner himself emailed me then followed up with a call to make sure everything was handed properly. It was something I'll never forget (occurred sometime last year) and appreciate that level of care more then words can describe, it is unheard of! So thank you Cheers guys! I have left the review below at the NYC address, but this seems to be the main address to use, so let me leave a copy here: I have used Natural Wireless for two years before moving to a building that doesn't support it. It was a great experience. For a very reasonable price I had a very fast wi-fi, accessible via a public network around the building, as well as a private network set up in my apartment (which was crucial for me as a have a NAS with my music and movie collection). Special thanks to customer support, they were indeed very supportive and understanding. E.g. when i have messed up my home router by pressing the IP settings reset button in the middle of the COVID pandemic, and couldn't get a repair person to come they have just shipped a new router with the right settings right to me. read more

I have really been happy with Natural Wireless and have been a customer for maybe 15 years. I really appreciate the prompt response to issues (my internet went down one early Sunday and I received a response not long after I sent an email) and the two times that I have had technicians to my apartment to fix issues. We had spectrum for a year in Jackson Park in Long Island City, NY. It was fine. They charged us a monthly fee for the router then jacked the price up after a year. I made the switch to NW and it was EASY. They have a cheaper price, it doesn't jack up, router use is FREE. The best part? They don't spam me with emails and mail and calls. The people who work for them seem to like the company as well. I've got a lot of respect for that. We moved across the street and they didn't have NW, and believe it or not, that was a huge minus. GF works from home so we were really reliant on NWs fast, consistent wifi. Really bummed we're stuck on FIOS now. Already the difference is obvious. NW sent someone out ASAP. FIOS tried selling me on a million things- insurance, cellular, "upgraded speeds," and it's taking two weeks to send someone out. I hate it. Hope to use NW again. Counting the days I can get off FIOS and I'll NEVER go back to spectrum. read more

Had signed up for their 150 Mbps wifi speed for about a year. Astonishingly, every quarter my wifi speed magically dropped down to 2 Mbps, constantly on every quarterly plan. As living in midtown Manhattan, the service I am getting is unacceptable. Setting aside the fact that none of the phones or consoles are being able to pick up the signal of the wifi that they provide, they constantly encounter unfortunate "technical" issues that drop my speed for god knows how long. This process becomes a regular basis. Sending them an email about the decreased speed it not enough- it will never work in one shot, as they will always say "We have reset and reconfigured some of the equipment in and around your unit. We believe this will resolve your issue", when in fact it didn't resolve anything. You generally have to contact them several times to fix it, and ultimately they won't be able to fix it unless they send someone to your place. I can assume that this speed problem is not only for my apartment unit, as I see numerous wifi named under natural wireless in my search area. I see nw, the wifi they were originally supposed to work for all the residence if they pay the right price, then nw_(roomnumber), then nw_(roomnumber)5GHz. This implies how incapable they are in their service. Declaring that they are reliable and fast is a serious overstatement. Save your time and frustrations, find someone else that can provide your service. read more

Upon moving into our new building in Long Island City, I was nervous that there was only one option for our wifi; however, Natural Wireless has actually worked out great for us! The install process was very speedy, and their customer service department have always been readily available if/when I have any questions. Natural Wireless is trash. They were charging me $40 a month for 20 down/20 up and consistently failed to provide me with even 10/10. That worked well enough until the pandemic hit and I had to work from home. The already deficient service they provided me couldn't handle the load and they failed over and over again to fix the issue. I used natural wireless for 18 months starting March 2016 to Sep 2017. In the two buildings we lived in in NYC, the service came pre-wired and there was no need for installation. Just connect to the wifi, pick your plan and you are ready to go. The connection is usually consistent, and the speed is as advertised. Other than internet at your home, if you have the service, you can use it in other common areas in the building, gym, etc which is useful. Customer service has always been very quick and responsive. Ultimately decided to move on because I wanted higher speeds than their plans offered. Natural wireless is great for someone who wants a hassle free/hardware free internet experience. read more

Great service and fantastic costumer service!! When I first moved in and started using natural wireless there were a couple problems (ended up being a problem with the box in my apartment) but wow. They came right out to find the problem and solve it quickly and promptly! whenever I had a question or when I got a new tv and struggled to connect, the costumer service took less than a minute to get in touch with and were so kind and helpful. They only offer a mediocre wireless system, so if you want to run hardwire you have to run it from a wireless network- awesome. Except it's not, their speed are terribly inconsistent, ranging from less than 1mbps to 20mbps and it usually not on the high end. I'm currently trying to download an 8GB file, I have been here for over an hour waiting, which means I've had enough time to consider writing this review. Then decide not to, then decide again I wanted too. Their techs are students who are studying something IT related and are not actual full time or seasoned staff, they basically come in reset the router and leave- it's a joke. Run far far away if you can, we have to have 3 routers in our apartment to have somewhat usable service, though I'm pretty sure I remember dial up being faster when I was a kid. read more

Their wifi service is absolute trash. They price their packages at higher values than competition but offer a terrible connection. WiFi speed is almost ALWAYS very slow, definitely not close to what they claim to offer. I would absolutely not recommend their service to anyone. The only reason I subscribed to it is because I needed it urgently and could wait not for other providers to set it up. I have been using it for the past 4 months in Manhattan but I will definitely cancel it right away. For the price, it was by far the best internet service available in my building, when I was looking for internet-only service (without cable or phone bundled with it), at $30-40 a month. Customer support is fast at fixing issues when they arose. It is much better than RCN or Time Warner or the other options available to me. They also don't lock you into long contracts, so it is easy to try them for a month or two to see if it works. Since it is wifi-based in the building, sometimes there are issues, but they generally send technicians quite quickly to fix it (for free). I've been using their service for about six months now, having subscribed to them via my apartment complex's internal wireless networks. The connectivity is pretty easy - just subscribe and you're online. No routers, no setting up - the ease of getting online was what drove me to subscribe in the first place. BUT it all goes downhill from there. I get 'quarantined' on their server about once a week, meaning that I am unable to connect to their network because they suspect suspicious activity going on on my machine. This can be triggered by a host of causes, like opening too many tabs at computer startup, torrents, or malware. In my case, it's because I didn't close all my tabs at closing so once I restart my computer, the NW server detects too many ports opening and shuts down my wireless altogether. You can imagine the frustration when you try to get online (with full wireless reception!!) and you can't, simply because NW is getting a false positive. To remedy this quarantine, you need to call their help number and get the service person to remove your computer from the list. HOWEVER when I tried to call them in recent weeks, the wait to get a live human on the phone has been well over 20 minutes!!! After I move out of my apartment complex I am NOT resubscribing via NW ever again. A wait time of over 20 minutes to get my internet back, as well as unnecessary quarantines, is just not acceptable in this age of fast connectivity. read more

After one full month of connectivity problems, calling every other day because the internet is down and never getting this resolved, never getting a call back or an email after my support tickets were "escalated", then seeing all the horrible reviews, I decided to take a stand and filed a complaint with the BBB....Then the day after the owner of Natural Wireless Ralph Hayon received the complaint from the BBB, he called me and threatened to terminate the crappy internet service as a retaliation to me filing a complaint with the BBB. Then in the middle of the day, Ralph disconnected my internet and did NOT refund me my money!!! Mind you I paid 3 months upfront so I'm paid up through November. This company is a joke and they should not even be in the business. I will upload one of the many speedtests. FYI, Their support department is outsourced and everytime I called they always had to escalate the call to a 3rd level support that will NEVER contact you. read more

This review could be a little premature since I've only been using the service a few days, but so far it's been great. I'm taking off one star because quarterly billing is not OK in my opinion...why isn't it monthly like everything else? Anyway, I'm getting very close to the promised 50Mbps download & upload speeds, so full marks for that. I had two installation appointments, Saturday and Sunday, which suited me perfectly, and the technicians arrived on time and did a great job. I had a bridge/repeater box installed so I can run a wired network as well as using it wirelessly, and a new wifi "access point" or whatever they call it was installed in my closet to ensure I got the full 50Mbps speed that I signed up for. On top of that I got two free months as a promotion they were running in my building. (River Place, NY). The only painful part of switching to Natural Wireless was cancelling my Time Warner account! (painful because Time Warner customer service is a NIGHTMARE). Full marks so far from me, except the one star removed for quarterly billing. Terrible wifi provider. The speed is slower and slower,but the price is not cheap! Now they helped me to cancel the account, but the attitude is really really terrible. Looks they feel angry if you don't want to use their service.Also, I can not use the wifi in bad weather. They should learn how to protect their equipment. The connection speed is generally pretty poor. It's impossible to download anything larger than a couple of songs on itunes while browsing the internet without getting kicked off of the network and needing to call them to be allowed back online. If you can, use someone else! The only reason this is two stars instead of one is because the guys over at customer service are generally pretty nice considering the people they have to work for. read more

I'm going to miss Natural Wireless a lot. We moved into a brand new building on the Upper West Side in 2010 and signed up for Natural Wireless, mostly out of curiosity, and also because we figured it couldn't be worse than Verizon or Comcast. It turned out to be a very happy four-year-long relationship! Now we're moving to an older building that doesn't have NW, so we're going to have to move on to something else. Over four years, we had almost no outages with Natural Wireless. A hurricane or two gave us temporary down time, and we had a couple other incidents, but the customer service is wonderful and we always got our internet back in almost no time at all. The only downside for us with NW is that our upload and download speeds started out really great in 2010 (better than any other provider was offering at the time), but they have slowed down quite a bit over the last four years. They are acceptable, but my husband sometimes laments that they aren't faster. For me, the reliability, customer service, tech support, and no-commitment billing more than makes up for having fast and not amazingly fast internet. read more

I'm not an avid Yelp reviewer, but Natural Wireless made it worth coming on here to review! Easy initial setup and access throughout building is so convenient. The best part is their customer service! They are always quick to respond and able to fix issues nearly immediately. Last week my wifi was working just fine but I needed a static IP address for convenience for my job so they came to set up a router the SAME DAY. I have been using Natural Wireless since Nov 2016, and their customer service and technical support have never failed my expectations. Whenever, and if I happened to face any issue with connections pertaining to one of my i-Devices, the issue had always been resolved in less than 15-20 minutes. I recently contacted them to have a router installed in my apartment, in addition to a direct access point. Rosanna, the customer service, was very prompt in her response, and arranged the technician to come in and fix it within days. The technician came on time, and had it set up within 15-20 minutes. He was very patient in clarifying whatever questions I had. Rosanna even followed-up after that, to check in with me, if everything works on my end! My landlord had set up wireless, but it didn't work--and NW was there to offer me service that was far superior to what my landlord was able to offer me and it was done in seconds.
