Rather than explain to me that there no longer is a contract and there are other options for upgrading to a new phone, he seemed to be in a hurry to move on to another customer. I left there totally confused. After leaving the Lancaster store discouraged, I decided to not give up and drive to the Verizon location in Cedar Hill, Texas. There I met Juan. He took the time to explain my current status and options for upgrading. I ended up trading my old phone and walking out with a new iPhone 7. Juan said that the Lancaster, Texas store is an authorized reseller and not a company store.

They had a rather busy day and told me I would have to pick it up the next day, but I told them my situation and they were able to squeeze me in for their priority list, I did wait a few hours but that was fine because I would wait as long as I have to get it back that same day. And I was expecting a long wait but they were able to fix it in a few hours. I'm grateful I was able to bring my phone back home and not have to come back the next day as that wouldn't have worked with my work or schedule. Anyway, like I said. I'm grateful.
