Great experience at the Spectrum store on Saratoga! Store Specialist Frank Lopez and Assistant Store Manager Monica Musella-Robledo are fantastic to work with. We recently moved to Corpus Christi from N/W Indiana & my wife & I decided to switch our cell phone service to Spectrum. Our previous carrier was Comcast Xfinity, and they were a complete nightmare to deal with. I spent 3 1/2 hrs on the phone with Comcast the day before simply trying to unlock our phones, and was given a unlock code. After arriving at the Spectrum store, it turns out the phones were not unlocked & the codes didn't work. Frank Lopez and Monica Musella-Robledo worked with us for well over an hour, most of the time on hold with Comcast, and were finally able to get the job done. I really appreciate the patience of both of them. I strongly recommend anyone needing Cable/internet and cell phone service give Spectrum a try. read more

SPECTRUM \ CHARTER IS THE PITS They Give the total run-around. Overly reliant on "AI", they are hyper-compartmentalized: one department has no idea what the other is doing - the scripted "solutions" are misleading & if not downright contradictory. Their rates are jacked, their hold times long, the "hold music" is maddeningly redundant; their in-person "brick & mortar" is ill equipped to cope with anything complex ; the 'in person' crew defers the customer back through phoning the company's myriad (833) (855) (800)#'s that all lead to the same, rote, automated prompt designed strictly for bill payment. Spectrum / Charter gives no care for resolution - rather - they are structured for LITIGIOUS evasion and will do everything to keep a person indentured to fines & fees. *** And *** Their actual service konks out chronically. - NO CARE FOR RESOLUTION - THIS CORPORATION IS A GREEDY, EXTORTIVE, GASLIGHTING, UNACCOUNTABLE BULLY - - PRAY YOU, AVOID THEM read more

Had issues when we had spectrum with the customer support. Now no longer a customer yet received someone else's equipment and billing statements even after calling to inform them this is not accurate must have been a mistake, they first inform me to just drop off at closest store at our convenience. Have now tried dropping equipment off at store twice now and told both times would be over an hour wait. So called customer service again because closest store is 40+ minutes away and don't have the ability to just keep going to now be informed to take to UPS now or customer will be charged. It's not my equipment and I understand their is a process but I'm trying to do the right thing and give them back their equipment due to their mistake and they are making us work for their mistake this is absolutely ridiculous customer support yet again. Putting responsibility on me that someone else is going to be charged because stuff got sent to wrong address is laughable and absolutely great business model. read more

The service is EXTREMELY slow. I waited over an hour to return some equipment. They need a better system for returning equipment. Maybe a drop box with a label you can fill out to put your equipment inside. Then drop it inside the location in a designated area. This is ridiculous. I will never use Spectrum again. read more

This place should not even exist...the staff are horrible. If you are trying to return equipment just go to the ups store and do it. Spectrum has lost another customer. read more

I've spent multiple days dealing with ongoing internet issues with Spectrum, including over 2 hours total waiting in-store just to replace equipment that still had not resolved the issue. My internet service has been unreliable for over a week, which has affected my work, forced me to rely heavily on mobile data, and caused major inconvenience. Yesterday alone, I checked in around 1:22 PM and was not called up until after 3 PM. I then had to return again the next day to continue troubleshooting. While the employees themselves were generally polite, the overall process felt extremely inefficient and frustrating for customers dealing with essential internet outages. Because internet service is part of my apartment's mandatory bulk agreement, I don't have much flexibility to opt out, which makes reliable support even more important. Due to this experience, I ended up switching my mobile phone service away from Spectrum entirely and began exploring backup internet options. Spectrum needs: - faster in-store support, - better outage communication, - and more effective solutions beyond repeated equipment swaps. Very disappointing experience overall. read more

Horrible. I have been using spectrum for the past month and all I can say it is some of the worst internet providers I have had the misfortune of using because tell me why I am getting a 2.38 Mpbs download speed and a 12.66 Mpbs for upload My family was promised 1,000 Mpbs download and upload I do not recommend this internet provider and the customer m service sucks we have been ghosted for the past month and they even let a hole bag of equipment in our backyard. read more

Came in at 12.. they took my name to reserve my spot. Received a text saying to return to the store at 1:18p. Returned to store.. it's now 3:35p and I'm still waiting. The number and names on the screen aren't matching up with people coming and going. They have 2 people working. The wait to just pick up equipment is insane. read more

Customer service is way too slow There were 3 of them and one wanted me to go to UPS (not what I was advised when I canceled subscription over the phone) which had closed as this was Sunday at 3 pm If I have not checked I would have returned to the same store (there is only one spectrum store in Corpus). Needed to return the Cable/Xumo equipment as I was leaving Corpus Christi. They need to work faster or need more personnel And they deleted my name on the list and told me to assume the name of a guy they were supposed to cancel read more

Terrible service , very poorly organized. People with appointments automatically skip the line while the lobby stays waiting for 1.5 hour or more. Majority are waiting to return read more

Canceled my service they charged me for one more month not a prorated charge. They aren't very good. Customer service not helpful with circular answers. I know they are double charging at that address because I have to pay till middle of the Month and I know the new tenant that moved in at the beginning of the month is using same service. Also at another address after the hurricane came through they continued to charge me even though everything was devastated in the area. I called to cancel three times before they cancelled and it wasn't full refund. Sheisters. read more

Found out the wait time for showing up for simple transaction is over two hours long. Spectrum only has one store to service the entire greater Corpus Christi market including Rockport Portland Port A etc. I think it's high time they invest in more stores as the volumes appear necessary. Grant you you can book an appointment however i've never seen the like on something like this. read more

Service was horrible , I only went to return equipment. the facility was full of people waiting and the employees where just sitting talking at there stations . When I asked why no one was being called they were very rude . Appearance of employees was sloppy not well kept or groomed very unprofessional . I am still here it's been 1 hr 10 minutes and I'm still waiting. I always have bad experiences here . I do not recommend to anyone read more

I have had spectrum for seven years. I lose my Internet often. My streaming spins out quite often. The wait on the service line is ridiculous. And here's the worst thing. I called to disconnect. I am told I'm such a great customer they will make me a better offer. Then hold on after I say no. Come back with better offer. No. Come back with better offer, new equipment and a technician to come out. If I was such a great customer these offers should have been offered when they became available. Not when I'm leaving. How much is my new service. Who is my new provider. Disparage new company. And it took 20 minutes for a person to answer. Then 21 more to disconnect. Thank God we finally got a competitor here on the island. I've suffered for 7 years. I'm free read more

I go in and a woman with fake red hair and tattoos directed me out and to the UPS store, without even checking the contents of my return. The UPS store was not able to even accommodate me sent me back to Spectrum. While waiting back at Spectrum an older man walks in who speaks Spanish and a lady who works at spectrum proceeded to yell at him because he was hard of hearing, and she thought that she needed to scream in his face and talk to him as though he was a 2 year old. She was very patronizing to this older man. There is absolutely no reason to not treat anybody with dignity just because they're older, and you don't like your job. They definitely do not care about customer service there, go elsewhere. read more

Zero STARS: Again; technical support is way off; I called about my internet because it was getting disconnected, and the automated line restarted my equipment and it worked; yesterday at 9 PM. it happened again so I called them again; and they told me I have a bad cable and they would need to send someone out. I waited for them to close so the automated line could reboot my equipment and it worked again. When I got back on line I noticed being disconnected was caused by my computer. I was able to correct this; and now I do not have a problem with it. I DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THEM COME OUT AND REPLACE MY CABLE. WOW! Spectrum get people that know what they are doing. read more

Customer service is a joke. You have to wait for hours just to return equipment. They should dedicate one person for returned equipment. Takes less that two minutes to return have to wait behind 15 people looking and testing phones. Treat your current customers better. read more

Spectrum - Wait list - Television Service Providers Near Me - Corpus Christi, Texas

I wanted to check on adding to my phone plan, after 3 hours of waiting I went from number 31 in line to number 22. There were usually 3 or 4 windows open. One older female employee helped 1 customer for nearly 1 1/2 hours in addition to Spectrum I hear about buying a condo, grand kids, vacation..... Very discouraging. read more

The service is awful and ultimately we were told to go to a UPS store. We waited three hours to return a wifi box.

The worst business in town. Six kiosks and only two are opened and I am #12 of 20. Been waiting here 20 minutes. Why not hire more people and you really don't need the guy walking skeins when an ipad making sure that we are okay. This place is a joke. Do better spectrum. Why did you upgrade to only have two people working. Ha read more

We came here to return some equipment they have been calling my mother in law for. We waited for an hour in the morning, nothing. Came back later that afternoon, another hour. Our name was still not called. There were multiple people in there upset at the wait times all just trying to return equipment. JUST SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND RETURN YOUR EQUIPMENT AT A UPS LOCATION. this place is useless!!!! read more

Literally just came to pick up a modem, and a router for our plan that we already paid for, and because we did a walk in, instead of online reservation (the wait time has no difference in my opinion) we waited about 2 hours before we finally got help. I don't know the cashiers name, I wish I got it, but he was the only useful person there that actually did their job. The manager seemed pretty new, which I could be wrong. But was not of much help even mentioned what we came to pick up, saw multiple other customers (some for the same reason as us) waiting for about 4+ hours just to get help. I mean it's ridiculous I see why this place got bad reviews, this is just from my personal experience, but it's the only internet service for our area at the moment. If it weren't for the fact some people weren't there for their walk in appointment, we would have been waiting for at least an extra hour. I really hope things change, and that they work on their customer service. read more

this location needs to be reviewed or shut down. 3 hours to even talk to someone. rude and they love to rush. I currently have Internet and 2 iPhones 2 iPads and I was currently going to get an Apple Watch. At this point with spectrum only having one damn location and everybody and their mother is always at this one and no one is nice. I'm just switching my provider. I'm done with spectrum. Every time I try to talk to an employee or ask one simple question I was ignored and they walked away because they were busy with the customer and cannot take two seconds to answer one question. read more

How is this place even still open and in business after all the complaints I'm reading about this? This is absurd. They sure do send you a "self installation kit" and when you follow all the directions just as it says, the service doesn't work. I had to go in and they exchanged the equipment for some knock off equipment that said delta on the main charging block. Idk how I even had WiFi with these people when WiFi is suppose to be WIRELESS. They also said after I had services with them, that spectrum.com turns in to spectrum.net for customers. That makes NO SENSE WHAT SO EVER. The website should stay the same no matter what especially AFTER A PERSON BECOMES A CUSTOMER. read more

Frank was a great asset to your company he help me and did a great job he needs to raise for being a great team leader keep him

I have been waiting for over 35 minutes. My assigned place in line was 17. I am still number 14. Three of six kiosks are not staffed. 2 Spectrum employees continue to handle the same clients talking about everything except their accounts. Very dissatisfied service. read more

They set you up for self installation and leave you hanging. Then want to charge you to install after. What kinda mess is this? Super annoying and it's not an easy install! Here I'm standing in a lobby full of other customers. The room is bright, cheery enough. There's a smattering of cell phones and tablets scattered on display tables. Other, cheeky merchandise in bubble plastic on shelves. And yet, only TWO out of six clerks working! Seriously??? A Saturday and there are only TWO clerks?? I was #11 in the queue. All I wanted to do is turn in equipment and cancel service - should've taken just a few minutes to do. But, no. It was thirty minutes of standing - there was no where to sit, just two small low "ottomans" that were already taken. There were two clerks and some guy running around ACTing like a manager, but actually wasn't. He wasn't able to help us anymore than the clerk we FINALLY got to see. So, an hour of standing, waiting, talking, and fuming. We still were unable to turn in the equipment (for a deceased parent). Totally unacceptable customer service! This is a good reason I will never, ever, EVER choose Spectrum for ANY kind of service. read more

Horrible horrible service, experience, employees and management. I am getting so sick and tired of wifi being out! For a long time I didn't have any issues but 2024 has been horrible! I wish Spectrum could get it together and keep the wifi on. Then they sent me a text that said if the wifi was out more than 4 hours they would credit my bill. It was out all night and out until afternoon. I got a text that said the service wasn't out long enough for a credit! Yep they were right, it wasn't out 4 hours, it was out about 16 hours! read more

This Cell Phone Company uses Bate and Switch Tactics! I was looking at a 2022 Spectrum Moto Stylus 5G 128GB Phone and noticed that the manual on display next to the phone were not the same specs as the phone on display. I told the salesman that I would like to buy a phone like the one on display at the same price. He went explain the problem to the female manager and she said this store is not Best Buy or WalMart and she can change the price to the 2021 phone in the manual, not the Display Price! The two male salesmen had their heads down and said there's nothing they could do. They took the manual away after being there three or four weeks for customers to read about the cell phone. I ordered a Moto Spectrum Stylus 5G 128GB phone from another company at a lower price. Shame on you Spectrum Store Manager! read more

Saturday 4/29 they called me again and actually tried to put me on hold to cancel the appoint they have scheduled. 4/28 Can't even get service with this company. Tried to get TV, Internet, Phone bundle with this loser company. Started on a Tuesday or Wednesday and was on the phone 31/2 hours. as of today, Friday 4/28; Still do not have it worked out and it is all about the stupid phone number. Keeping the same number. I said give me a new phone number, so we can get this going. "I have to start the order over again" I already did this on Thursday. When he said that I was not going sit on the phone another 31/2 hours just to get their service. I decided it is not worth it to have it and I gave up. I told them I do not need TV that bad. I will keep the service that I currently have. I can image how they are after you have their service if it takes 3 days just to put in a stupid order. read more

Customer service and support are terrible. I called Spectrum to cancel the TV portion of my account on 4/24/21, I was told it was taken care of effective immediately and a confirmation email would be sent. On 4/25 the service was on and no email was sent. On 4/25 I called again and told the order had not been put in. We went through the cancel process again and told I would get a confirmation email and that TV cancellation would be effective immediately. Still no email and the service has not been cancelled. I went online and used Chat support with Christina, she left saying she would look up my account but left me hanging for 10 minutes before I realized she wasn't coming back? Canceled my 20 year ATT ACCOUNT for spectrum mobile. The entire switch was exhausting, their tech support is no more than a CALL CENTER. And their answers and solutions to your problem are kinda like a crap shoot. Remember you are actually using VERIZON network and these guys, spectrum reps, are not the brightest. Can't beat the price. Let's just see how signals are over time. If you need tech support, go to the spectrum store and bypass the phone stupidity of a call center. read more
