We recently moved to Corpus Christi from N/W Indiana & my wife & I decided to switch our cell phone service to Spectrum. Our previous carrier was Comcast Xfinity, and they were a complete nightmare to deal with. I spent 3 1/2 hrs on the phone with Comcast the day before simply trying to unlock our phones, and was given a unlock code. After arriving at the Spectrum store, it turns out the phones were not unlocked & the codes didn't work. Frank Lopez and Monica Musella-Robledo worked with us for well over an hour, most of the time on hold with Comcast, and were finally able to get the job done. I really appreciate the patience of both of them. I strongly recommend anyone needing Cable/internet and cell phone service give Spectrum a try.

Hector Jimenez came out and spent several hours taking time to update equipment and work on the roof to adjust (including building an antennae arm) the receiver and find the tower that would provide us with the best speed and service. Hector was very professional and discussed with my husband (who was at work) in detail exactly what he was doing and the best way to improve the mount on our roof. In the future, if a tech is required to come out I will request Hector Jimenez as our tech. Our internet provider options are limited in our area; so far GTEK has been the best to work with.

They are not proactive by any means. I'm told now that it will be 8 days before I receive the equipment. I should not be charged for 8 days without i ternet service, it ahould be pro-rated at the VERY least. Stay away. Go to COX or another co. if you can. They had my service hooked up in 24hrs.

In November I ordered the service to begin December 1 and purchased their modem. It took forever because the salesperson kept telling me what he "was going to try to do for me", I had to finally tell him to either sign me up without more conversation or I was getting off. Instead of December 1, they started billing immediately on November 15. I figured they had only ripped me off for $25 and it wasn't worth another 45 minutes to try to complain. Getting ready to go home, I tried to cancel my service as of April 1. They seemed to think it could not be done for a future date. After transfers to folks with less and less English, I finally got it through to them that Clear does not exist in my home area. They agreed to cancel as of April 1, but no credit for the additional 1/2 month. Hopefully they will actually cut it off and not continue charging my card, since I set it up for automatic billing and cannot cancel it online. I was very pleased with the internet, but I'll look for another solution next winter rather than deal with incompetent customer "service".
