    Stay away from this location. I've not had the same issues at the one on South Blvd, but this one is closer to my home (not by much though). Anyways, we had been having trouble with good connectivity with our wifi. I called Spectrum and they noted that we had a very old modem/router combo and I should take it in to be swapped out. In the time being, he would relink things to see if it could help. I made an appointment that fit with my work schedule and showed up about 5 minutes before my appointment. There was only one person working and a crowd of people waiting. I waited and my name was not called as scheduled. Finally, two more people came out to help with the crowd, still really not enough. My name still was not being called so I went up to the counter to one guy after he finished with the previous customer and mentioned I had an appointment. He said my name would be called at my appointment time. I told him that my appointment time has come and gone, he quickly changed his tune and offered to help me out. He switched out my modem and I asked him if the wifi just automatically connects when I hook it back up. He said yes, if not to call the help number. I left, went back home and hooked up the modem. Wifi would not connect so I called for help and was told that I was given a modem that does not have wifi capabilities and I would have to go back to exchange. Furious, I went back to the store and marched right in to the guy that had helped me out. I did not care if the still full waiting room would get upset that I did not check in. I was not waiting again. I told him he gave me the wrong modem. He said that was impossible as they only have one modem type, unless I had that modem/router combo. I said I did. And he responded with my bad. You think? Obviously, poor customer service here, inattentive, not able to handle the crowd promptly and timely, and making me spend my work time to travel back and forth for mistakes made that could have been avoided. We all know it won't get better with Spectrum, but at least more options are coming available to us customers with tv/internet/etc. A change may be in the future for this long time customer.

    So here is the latest. I've been trying to get my service to deliver the speed that I'm paying for. I've had multiple technicians out to fiddle with this and that. Each tech finds something that was not addressed by the last tech. Most recently the tech replaced the modem and the router which really seemed to fix it...I thought (hoped). Now, the latest is this error message that keeps popping up and freezing up my screen. Called for assistance and was told to do a system reboot.

    If you complain to the salesperson they blame your equipment.  But tech support says it's a computer error  who's right.

    Just got the same package from Windstream as I had at TWC for $60 less a month. TWC SUCKS! Never again

    I recently purchased a new flatscreen TV and for the first time in my life decided to utilize a…read morewall mounting scenario. Even though I viewed some tutorials on YouTube, I felt it to be appropriate to have a professional conduct both the installation of the wall mount and the hanging of the TV. I conducted a Google search and found South Charlotte Services with stellar reviews and photos of customer's end results. In viewing their website, I was very much impressed with their attention to detail and all of the services they offer. My scenario was pretty straight-forward: dry-wall with studs and an electrical outlet already high from the finished floor. But, they do offer other services for more complex scenarios. I also suggest calling them before you purchase your wall mount. I purchased one with my TV however they have others they prefer in stock relative to all types of installs and TVs and may be more affordable than others purchased online or at a retailer such as Best Buy or Walmart. After filling out their online form for a quote, I was furnished a proposal by end of business via text and email (NOTE: make sure you try and view it asap so the link doesn't expire). I was called and a time was set. They are pretty flexible but mornings are usually better so try and make yourself available. Their installer, John, showed up on time with all tools necessary (as well as a construction blanket for floor protection). He takes the handling of your TV device with caution and advises you throughout the process to make sure the TV is mounted to your liking and viewing preferences. Be advised to also have an area to lay your TV so he can install the back bracket. Before drilling, he performed a check of the surrounding walls to make sure he would be drilling into the correct spots (some DIY people or other installers may not bother to do this and it's possible it could compromise electric or gas lines; very important this is not ignored). Moreover, he keeps the area very clean by utilizing a shop vac throughout install. John was friendly, efficient, and effective. I highly recommend their services. The job took ~1hr to complete.
