When I talked to their representative over the phone, they told me they were giving me a very good deal being that I was a "preferred customer" based off of past purchases I had made. The rep asked me how much streaming I plan to do and how many devices. I told them I want very fast internet for over 5 devices, in order to stream netflix/hulu, music, gaming, etc. They assured me that this deal would be great and support all that I told them I would be doing. Flash forward a couple months, where I have done my research. Unfortunately, I locked myself into a year long contract with a company charging me the same as everyone else under a false pretense. Not horrible. Still a decent price. I feel deceived though, due to the fact that I cannot stream netflix for more than 10 minutes at a time. I have troubleshot everything, and the only conclusion I can reach is the faulty internet. I have taken to listening to more music, because it is very frustrating to try and watch a fragmented show. I would avoid AT&T or just make sure you do your research to know that it truly supports the things you'll need wifi for.

Then my wife and I were going to upgrade our phones and we purchased 2 iphones for 2 of our grandsons. After the service was switched from Verizon we noticed that the cloud phots did not move over. After dealing with the store manager, he told us the rep we had dealt with gave us bad info and the only way to get our photos back would be to return the upgraded phone to Spectrum, reactivate the old phone with Verizon, download all of the photos from the cloud back into the old phone and then once all photos were in in the phone, bring the old phone back to Spectrum and report the number back to Spectrum then upgrade the phone. Well after 3 grueling weeks of trying to get all of that to happen, we went back to Spectrum for the final steps of moving the service on that old pnone back to Spectrum and upgrading the phone like we were originally trying to do. Tonight we were told that the promotion that was going to allow us to upgrade the phone for zero cost had now expired and it was going to now cost us $550. We received no help in resolving this in the local office and were instructed to call the customer service number. We received no help from them either. We have bee a customer of Spectrum (previously Charter Communications) for our TV. phone and internet service since 1987. We chose to give them our mobile business because of that long standing relationship. Sorry to say we only turned out to be a "nobody" to Spectrum. With all of the loyal business we have given them over the years and all of the new busuness we were in the process of giving them, they were unwilling to make things right with us. IF I were you, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere for TV, internet and mobile services especially if you want to be treated like a good customer instead of just a number.
