We got a guy by the name of Josh to help us figure out what we wanted to do with our phones and our plans- as it turned out, he helped us to find a way that not only could we get a bigger data plan for cheaper than what we were paying, but that we could get phones with bigger memories (when you've kept having to shuffle around apps and games on a 16GB phone, having enough space and then some is kind of overwhelming) for a lot cheaper than we thought, well... it was worth coming in. Then Josh walked us through getting everything off of S's old phone and backed up to the cloud so she wouldn't end up losing Where this place really earned its stripes is when S believed she lost hundreds of pictures of her daughter after having them backed up at the store- so she called Josh and he'd replied that they had not deleted the data and stored memory off her old phone, but that they would be happy to have her come in the next day and download all the pictures off her old phone if they didn't show up in cloud storage by the next morning- which they did, thankfully enough. When I talked to their representative over the phone, they told me they were giving me a very good deal being that I was a "preferred customer" based off of past purchases I had made. The rep asked me how much streaming I plan to do and how many devices. I told them I want very fast internet for over 5 devices, in order to stream netflix/hulu, music, gaming, etc. They assured me that this deal would be great and support all that I told them I would be doing. Flash forward a couple months, where I have done my research. Unfortunately, I locked myself into a year long contract with a company charging me the same as everyone else under a false pretense. Not horrible. Still a decent price. I feel deceived though, due to the fact that I cannot stream netflix for more than 10 minutes at a time. I have troubleshot everything, and the only conclusion I can reach is the faulty internet. I have taken to listening to more music, because it is very frustrating to try and watch a fragmented show. I would avoid AT&T or just make sure you do your research to know that it truly supports the things you'll need wifi for.

Justin S. at the Plainwell store said "$160 with your trade in and no changes to your plan". Not the case at all. 1st few months my bill went up $99. I would call or text Justin about the billing error and he would say "oh VZ just hasn't caught up with your new trade in promotion, I'll issued a credit". He did issued a credit but it wasn't the correct amount. this happened every month until Jason stopped responding. I reached out to Verizon corporate office and got no where except when a 3rd party customer service rep (that spoke very little English) called me to tell me she she would take care of everything but never did anything. I asked for several months for my signed agreement and didn't it until the 5th letter I wrote. here's a shocker, I was not my signature on the agreement. I write Verizon a dispute letter every monthly billing because its incorrect every month. I even wrote directly to Amanda at The Wireless Zone main office and didn't get any response. I recently traveled to Ireland, Spain, and France and got screwed on the VZ international $12.00 per day plan. Disputed the charges because there were many days I didn't user any data. Verizon doesn't care. its one of their many "gotcha" moments Do not use The Wireless Zone stores and certainly dont sign up with Verizon. Plenty other companies out there like T Mobile, Pure Talk and Consumer Cellular.

When we received our first month bill... we got a bill for $215.86 AND a separate large bill for our phones! That is definitely NOT what I was quoted ‼. Then my wife and I were going to upgrade our phones and we purchased 2 iphones for 2 of our grandsons. After the service was switched from Verizon we noticed that the cloud phots did not move over. After dealing with the store manager, he told us the rep we had dealt with gave us bad info and the only way to get our photos back would be to return the upgraded phone to Spectrum, reactivate the old phone with Verizon, download all of the photos from the cloud back into the old phone and then once all photos were in in the phone, bring the old phone back to Spectrum and report the number back to Spectrum then upgrade the phone. Well after 3 grueling weeks of trying to get all of that to happen, we went back to Spectrum for the final steps of moving the service on that old pnone back to Spectrum and upgrading the phone like we were originally trying to do. Tonight we were told that the promotion that was going to allow us to upgrade the phone for zero cost had now expired and it was going to now cost us $550. We received no help in resolving this in the local office and were instructed to call the customer service number. We received no help from them either. We have bee a customer of Spectrum (previously Charter Communications) for our TV. phone and internet service since 1987. We chose to give them our mobile business because of that long standing relationship. Sorry to say we only turned out to be a "nobody" to Spectrum. With all of the loyal business we have given them over the years and all of the new busuness we were in the process of giving them, they were unwilling to make things right with us. IF I were you, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere for TV, internet and mobile services especially if you want to be treated like a good customer instead of just a number. You are locked in an abusive relationship. They don't really love or respect you. The hours you spend on the phone with them will never be recovered. You have invested much time in trying to avoid a breakup but the abuse never stopped. There is a new fiberoptic cable company called Metronet doing new installs in Portage. Our new service began yesterday and we wished we had been able to breakup with CS years ago. Do not believe them when they say they will die without you.
