I found myself with broken glasses and the daunting task of scheduling an urgent eye exam with my optometrist of 16 years... I loved my optometrist but I didn't love the outdated equipment and long process of multiple tests and thought you know lets see who is close to me and who uses modern equipment + someone who has great reviews and lo and behold Spectacle Optometry! I was able to get an appointment within 2 hours! My visit was 34 minutes from start to finish, Dr. Courtney was thorough, friendly, quick and caring! Their office is incredibly modern, chic and welcoming! Their selection of glasses definitely are inline with today's trends and fashion. And the icing on the cake is I went in on a Tuesday and had my glasses Thursday!! I can see clearly now plus I have a new Optometrist! Time to schedule appointments for my kiddos. What a wonderful optometry office! I happened to be looking for a boutique brand of frames and Spectacle happened to carry them. They also were covered under my insurance which was an added plus! I spoke to Dr. K over the phone to confirm they carried the brand and stopped by the office to place my order about a week later. Dr. K is kind and extremely helpful. She is professional and transparent with all covered costs and makes you feel very comfortable. The office is very "hip", up to date with the latest technology and very clean. Because of the high reviews, I went to this store which is 20 miles away from my home and takes 30 minutes to drive normally. Although it is more expensive to help my daughter with contact lenses, I can still accept it. However, when I asked if my eyes were double vision, there was a problem. After some examination, she recommended that I wear a pair of glasses for $800. I thought that this pair of glasses would solve my double vision problem, but when I got the glasses, I found that she had given me a pair of aging glasses. Since the price of normal aging glasses is about $20-100, and I already have multiple pairs of aging glasses at home, I proposed to return them or give me credit to buy contact lenses for my daughter. The receptionist began to agree with my plan, and the female ophthalmologist was also hesitant about whether to accept my proposal. After all, it was her fault that caused my problem, but her husband came out and firmly rejected any of my proposals. The final result was that I left this pair of useless eyes to them without any compensation or even an apology. Although it has been three months since this incident, I still reflected my situation. I hope that future guests will learn from it and not be deceived by their high reviews and words. I strongly suspect their high reviews are fake. read more

Dr. K was super helpful and was able to fit me into a last-minute appointment with no issues! She even had my insurance checked to make sure I was covered since I live out of town. They have really great tools for patients that I didn't even know existed, including a handy machine to look at my retinas instead of having to get my pupils dilated! There are a ton of cute frames to choose from (from small businesses too!). I had mine ordered in the color I was looking for and Dr. K mailed them to me. It only took about a week to get them!! The best customer service EVER! I love this place. It doesn't get any better than this. The staff is great. They are polite, respectful, honest and make you feel good. You will want to come back. They truly want to help. The space is clean, neat and organized. I first found this place when my glasses accidentally broke. I went in without an appointment. They where able to fit me in, checked my insurance and I even got an eye exam. I had my glasses within a week. Unfortunately, my glasses broke again, lol. I made a Saturday appointment over the phone with a very pleasant gal and was able to fill out all the forms online. When I arrived I was taken back right away. Both doctors listened and took the time to make sure I understood everything and answered all my questions.
