We went during covid. We just drove thru and looked at the bones. Everything is clearly marked and very fairly priced. I bought 8 large bones and a big shammy. Plus we needed a bale of straw. They load it all you pay from your car all for $60. I love supporting a small local business instead of a larger business.

Literally drive in and NEVER TOUCH A BAG OF FEED, STRAW, SALT,5 GALLON WATER BOTTLE! They load everything for you! Ladies, gentlemen, customer service hasn't been forgotten! We were given their name for help with seeding a pasture. The education lessons today were much appreciated and have given us the confidence to take on this formerly overwhelming project ourself. Thank you gentlemen Update: I returned a day later to buy more Round Up as we felt our land wasn't dead enough to plant the grass seed yet. The owner of this place usually takes care of us when we visit and today I visit alone. He flat REFUSES to sell me product. Ok, who has ever heard of a retail establishment that makes their money by selling product refusing to sell......product. He goes on to say that I need to go home and plant my grass seed, we can worry about weeds in the spring. Time is running out. So I did. Honesty goes a long way. I'll be back later to get other things I need. They don't rip you off just to make a buck.

Seriously, I'm drowning in foster kittens over here and every single one is weaning or still young enough that they aren't eating kibble yet. So I'm going thru a LOT of canned kitten food. I typically shop at Meijer for my cat food and litter. But they don't always have much of my preferred kitten food in stock, if at all. I won a $10 Petsmart gift card from Indy Humane recently, and decided it was the perfect time to put it to use. We noticed as we walked in that they had an adoption event going on. Several dogs in cages lined the front of the store, as we were greeted by a Petsmart employee. We didn't make it more than a couple aisles in to the store before another employee asked if we needed any help finding anything. I discovered a brand of canned kitten food that Indy Humane had given us a lot of lately. While Indy Humane does supply us with food for our fosters, they are at the mercy of donations and sometimes what we receive is a mixture of different brands. That can cause upset tummies for our kittens and I rather avoid that smelly aftermath. So I do buy a lot of the canned food myself, and only take from them what I know will agree with my fosters. I noticed that Petsmart carried a brand that has worked well with my foster kittens, at a reasonable price. Even better, they offer a discount when you buy X-amount of cans. The number seems to vary with each brand. Since I'm going thru a lot lately, I grabbed 24 large cans. Our total came to $23 and some change, after taxes. Check out was pretty quick and our cashier was also friendly. The store appeared clean and nicely lit. So I have to say that partnered with the great price, we had a great experience!

The owners are friendly and share lots of information, such as what type of food attracts specific birds. They will even help carry your purchases out to your car. Having relo'd from a city area and Baltimore's downtown inner harbor, we were pleasantly surprised…read moreto see some blue-jays, and Cardinals in our wooded back yard after moving in. So we picked up a feeder and mixed bird food. Unfortunately it very quickly turned into a scene from Hitchcock's movie the birds. There were hundreds of them no exaggeration taking over our yard. Our next play to address this was to move the feeder to the front yard a very much less wooded area, and although the count was lower there was still over 100 birds who emptied the 2 quart feeder in under an hour. The birds when walking out to the feeder in the front yard simply flew up to our roof and we were concerned they would start using the yard and house as a dumping ground to camp at. So we stopped by this store to see what options there are for attracting only a few blue jays or just the some of the small yellow finch birds. We received excellent advice and picked up some specialty feed that does not generate a mass bird attack but instead an enjoyable view of the occasional pretty bird.
